  • The intelligent transportation system has made a huge leap in the level of human services, which has had a positive impact on the quality of life of users. On the other hand, these services are becoming a new source of risk due to the use of data collected from vehicles, on which intelligent systems rely to create automatic contextual adaptation. Most of the popular privacy protection methods, such as Dummy and obfuscation, cannot be used with many services because of their impact on the accuracy of the service provided itself, they depend on changing the number of vehicles or their physical locations. This research presents a new approach based on the shuffling Nicknames of vehicles. It fully maintains the quality of the service and prevents tracking users permanently, penetrating their privacy, revealing their whereabouts, or discovering additional details about the nature of their behavior and movements. Our approach is based on creating a central Nicknames Pool in the cloud as well as distributed subpools in fog nodes to avoid intelligent delays and overloading of the central architecture. Finally, we will prove by simulation and discussion by examples the superiority of the proposed approach and its ability to adapt to new services and provide an effective level of protection. In the comparison, we will rely on the wellknown privacy criteria: Entropy, Ubiquity, and Performance.

  • The aim of this study is to examine the changes of approach methods of research framework in the history of Korean economic geography during the last fifty years($1956{\sim}2005$). The five factors that have influenced Korean economic geography are Korean geography, European, American, and Japanese geography, fundamental theories of economics and business administration, regional problems, and culture. The study of Korean economic geography can be divided into four periods: 'period of cradle of economic geography($1956{\sim}1962$)', 'period of establishment of economic geography(1963$\sim$later 1970s)', 'period of leap of economic geography(the former half of 1980s$\sim$the former half of 1990s)', and 'period of transition of economic geography (since later 1990s)'. And research framework of Korean economic geography has changed from the regional structure theory in 'period of leap' to the spatial system of economies and network theory in 'period of transition'. Spatial system of economies and network theory consists of spatial system of world economies, spatial system of national economies, spatial system of regional economies, spatial network of enterprise economies, and spatial network of information economies.

  • Captured human motion data has been widely utilized for understanding the mechanism of human motion and synthesizing the animation of virtual characters. Searching for desired motions from given motion data is an important prerequisite of analyzing and editing those selected motions. This paper presents a new method of content-based motion retrieval without the need of additional metadata such as keywords. While existing search methods have focused on skeletal configurations of body pose or planar trajectories of locomotion, our method receives a three-dimensional trajectory as its input query and retrieves a set of motion intervals in which the trajectories of body parts such as hands, foods, and pelvis are similar to the input trajectory. In order to allow the user to intuitively sketch spatial trajectories, we used the Leap Motion controller that can precisely trace finger movements as the input device for our experiments. We have evaluated the effectiveness of our approach by conducting a user study in which the users search for dozens of pre-selected motions from baseketball motion data including a variety of moves such as dribbling and shooting.

  • A wavelet-Galerkin scheme based on the time-dependent Maxwell's equations is presented. Daubechies wavelet with two vanishing wavelet moments is expanded for basis function in spatial domain and Yee's leap-frog approach is applied. The shifted interpolation property of Daubechies wavelet family leads to the simplified formulations for inhomogeneous media without the additional matrices for the integral or material operator. The stability condition is formulated. The dispersion characteristics are analyzed and compared with those of finite difference time domain and multiresolution time domain methods. The analyses show the excellent trade-off between the regularity and the support width of the basis function. Although the basis function has only two vanishing wavelet moments, it is enough to provide negligible dispersive error in the numerical analysis and its compact support enables only several involved terms per nodes. The storage effectiveness, execution time reduction and accuracy of this scheme are demonstrated by calculating the resonant frequencies of the homogeneous and inhomogeneous cavities.

  • This paper is to study techniques of a virtual reality to maximize the depth of the users' immersion based on differentiated interactive contents using korean traditional fairy tale. In order to increase more interests in korean traditional fairy tale, we produce a interactive 3D contents and propose a new approach to a system designing applying a virtual realities such as HMD, Leap motion. First, using Korean traditional fairy tale, we generate interactive contents consisting of scenes intensifying user's tensions while interaction of game process. Based on the interactive contents generated, we design scene generation using Oculus HMD, the gaze based input processes and a hand interface using Leap motion, in order to provide a multi dimensional scene transmission and an input process method to intensify the sense of the reality. We will verify through diverse tests whether the proposed virtual reality contents based on a technique of an input process will actually intensify the immersion in the virtual reality or not while minimizing the motion sickness of the users.

  • Air permeabilities in unsaturated fractured tuff at the Apache Leap Research Site (ALRS) near Superior, Arizona, exhibit a self-affine behavior, thus renders a field random fractal. Based up fractal scaling, the observed scale effect has been interpreted [Hyun et al., 2002]. Recently, Frantziskonis and Hansen [2000] presented that fractal scaling can be represented based on wavelets. This study deals with the way of using wavelets for fractal scaling. A numerical study is presented to examine the applicability of wavelet-based approach to determining upscaled air permeability values on various data supports at the site. To characterize the scaling property of self-affine fields generated based upon wavelets, Hurst coefficient, H. was inferred by applying the average wavelet coefficient (AWC) method. The result yielded H = 0.24, which is very close to the result of geostatistical analysis using a power variogram (H = 0.22). The study concludes that wavelet-based scaling is a useful way of determining parameter values on different data supports, which is an essential task for modeling of subsurface flow and mass transport in a numeric grid with different resolutions (grid size).

  • The ANP(Analytic Network Process), though based on the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), is a system for the analysis, synthesis, and justification of complex decisions with the capability to model non-linear relations between the elements. ANP allows the decision makers to leap beyond the traditional hierarchy to the interdependent environment of network modeling. The ANP is designed for problems characterized by the added complexity of interdependencies such as feedback and dependencies among problem elements. Using a network approach makes it possible to represent and analyze interactions, incorporate non-linear relations between the elements, and synthesize mutual effects by a single logical procedure. This study intends to evaluate the contribution of technology in intangible assets by the AHP and ANP.

  • The Yoon Suk Yeol administration is promoting the "Global Leap of the Biohealth Industry" as one of its 120 key national policies. Recently, the administration has been showing its commitment by establishing various strategies and presenting blueprints for policy implementation. However, the results felt on the ground are still not sufficient. The biohealth industry is a difficult field to generate policy effects because the related regulations are intricately intertwined and the diverse administrative tasks are scattered in various government departments, where inter-departmental interests differ. To solve this problem, an innovative governance system should be established. In order for the government's recent approach to establish a government-wide control tower to be effective, it should demonstrate a proactive policy commitment and be given practical power to coordinate the interests between departments.

  • In order to make a virtual endoscopy system effective for exploring the interior of the 3D model of a human organ, it is necessary to generate an accurate navigation path located inside the 3D model and to obtain consistent camera position and pose estimation along the path. In this paper, we propose an approach to virtual navigation of blood vessels, which makes proper use of orthogonal contours and skeleton curves. The approach generates the orthogonal contours and the skeleton curves from the 3D mesh model and its voxel model, all of which represent the blood vessels. For a navigation zone specified by two nodes on the skeleton curves, it computes the shortest path between the two nodes, estimates the positions and poses of a virtual camera at the nodes in the navigation zone, and interpolates the positions and poses to make the camera move smoothly along the path. In addition to keyboard and mouse input, intuitive hand gestures determined by the Leap Motion SDK are used as user interface for virtual navigation of the blood vessels. The proposed approach provides easy and accurate means for the user to examine the interior of 3D blood vessels without any collisions between the camera and their surface. With a simple user study, we present illustrative examples of applying the approach to 3D mesh models of various blood vessels in order to show its quality and usefulness.

  • This paper proposes an approach in modeling a 4x60inch Allis Chalmers Hydrocone Crusher [1] hydroset and presents some numerical simulation results. The mining and quarry industry is one of the industries which extensively use hydrocone crushers, which are a family of cone crushers, for rock size reduction. Field studies have proved that if proper control and management of these machines is undertaken, they can yield an increased production output of more than 30%, in addition substantial savings in both energy consumption per unit ton produced and manpower can be easily realized. In order to achieve these economic benefits, high performance from these machines is expected. Implementing automatic control for such machines would be a great leap towards achieving both economic benefits and more effective fool-proof predictive maintenance. But, unfortunately, for such a control system to be designed, it necessary to make a mechatronical model of this plant. The plant model is able to give us an insight into variations of both the plant gap setting (displacement) and system pressure due to variable loading arising from the crushing process.
