RF모듈을 이용한 자동차 ECU 센서신호의 원격계측 (Remote Measurement for Automobile′s ECU Sensor Signals Using RF modules)

  • In this paper, we present a remote measurement system for the wireless monitoring of ECU Sensor Signals of vehicle. In order to measure the ECU sensor signals, the interface circuit is designed to communicate ECU and designed terminal wirelessly according to the ISO, SAE regulation of communication protocol standard. A micro-controller 80C196KC is used for communicating ECU sensor signals. ECU sensor signals are transmitted to the RF-wireless terminal that was developed using the micro controller 80386EX. LCD, and RF-module. 80386EX software is programmed to monitor the ECU sensor signals using the Borland C++ compiler in which the half duplex method was used for the RS232 communication. The algorithms for measuring the ECU sensor signals are verified to monitor ECU state. At the same time, the information to fix the vehicle's problem can be shown on the developed monitoring software. The possibility for remote measurement of ECU sensor signals using 80386EX is also verified through the developed systems and algorithms.

  • A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing. The FPGA configuration is generally specified using a hardware description language (HDL), similar to that used for an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) (circuit diagrams were previously used to specify the configuration, as they were for ASICs, but this is increasingly rare). Contemporary FPGAs have large resources of logic gates and RAM blocks to implement complex digital computations. In this paper, we implement a system of digital instrumentation using FPGA. This system consists of the trigger part, memory address controller part, control FSM part, Encoder part, LCD controller part. The hardware implement using FPGA and the verification of the operation is done in a PC simulation. The proposed hardware was mapped into Cyclone III EP2C5Q208 from Altera and used 1,700(40%) of Logic Element (LE). The implemented circuit used 24,576-bit memory element with 6-bit input signal. The result from implementing in hardware (FPGA) could operate stably in 140MHz.

  • Today, the ceramic transformer becomes widely used for the TFT LCD backlight inverter system thanks to its high efficiency and small size. In this paper, a high efficient inverter system for cold cathode flourescent lamp (CCFL) including PLL controller for tuning the PWM frequency to the frequency that the efficiency of the inverter system becomes maximum is proposed. The control IC implementing this feature will be released by Interpion Co. Ltd. in May 2002.

  • 24" LCD Monitor용 LED BLU를 개발하기 위하여 1.5W R,G,G,B가 하나의 PKG에 들어있는 LED를 이용하여 Direct type의 Back Light Unit을 개발하였다. 방열 및 휘도 균일도를 고려하여 LED part를 설계, 개발 하였고 LED를 pulse로 구동하기 위하여 Switching circuit이 포함되는 구동회로 부분을 설계, 개발하였다. 또한 Color Sensor와 ICM (Integrated Color Management) IC를 사용하여 Color를 Control하는 제어회로 부분도 개발을 하였다. 제어회로 부분을 개발하기 위하여 MicroController를 사용하였으며 ICM IC와의 통신을 위한 부분도 개발하였다. 이러한 구성을 개발하여 시제품을 직접 제작하였다. 평가를 위하여 성능시험을 실시하였고 광학적인 평가도 시행하였다. 제작된 시제품은 $L558{\times}W359{\times}H30$으로 하였다. 휘도는 목표휘도를 이루었으며 균일도는 85% 이상이 되었다.

  • In this study, we implement the multiple frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis system for body composition analysis. Overall system consists of : 1) conductivity electrodes to contact with hands and foots, 2) multiple frequency alternating current signal generator for generating 5, 50, 250kHz frequency and 800uA contained alternating current signal, 3) voltage signal detector, 4) phase signal detector, 5) key-pad to input individual information, 6) micro controller for data processing, 7) LCD for processed data to display, 8) system power, We explain the architecture of the system and required theory to implement the system. Finally, experimental results are illustrated to show the performance of the system.

  • The world's supply of water in all forms is enormous. However, only a tiny fraction of the planet's supply is available to us as fresh water, and that is distributed very unevenly. About 97% of oater volume is found in the oceans and is too salty for drinking, growing crops, and most industrial uses except cooling. In addition water supply crises in already-water-short-regions will intensify because population and industrialization increase. Today, remote monitoring and control systems are becoming the cost-effective management tools for almost all water user groups, including irrigators, water districts, municipal water suppliers, and wildlife management groups. This paper represents a new approach in the water-gate control using radio communication. The proposed device is simple in structure and suitable for implementation of water-gate control through the transceiver by radio communication. It was confirmed that the developed device was very efficient to control level of water-gate and to prove the up and down motion of water-gate through the LCD displayer.

  • Electrical impedance plethysmography is still be one of the simplest and most convenient methods or non-invasive measurement of blood low, but it has the weak point can not do real-time measurement because of using chart-record or processing after receiving data from analog plethysmography through A/D converter. In this study. we developed hardware system composed of analog part which include auto-balancing circuit and calibration register and digital part which include 80C196KC, keypad, and LCD. we studied the algorithms or extracting parameter to calculate blood low and implemented it using general purpose micro controller.
