The Economic Analysis on the Heating System Remodeling by the Life Cycle Costing in Permanent Rental Apartment (LCC 기법을 이용한 영구임대아파트 난방방식 리모델링에 대한 경제성분석 -유지관리비용을 중심으로-)

  • Considering the present development situation of rental apartment since 1982, the supply of rental housing for low-income dwellers has contributed a amount of quantities, but has been deficient qualities in housing policy. To propose the device of remodeling for low-income dwellers in deteriorated apartment, this study investigated the energy consumption of central heating system and the characteristics of maintenance cost in permanent rental apartment. The results of evaluation of alternative heating systems by Life Cycle Costing in permanent rental apartment were as follows; From Life Cycle 15∼20 years by Present Worth Method, the economic heating system of remodeling is central heating system (heat source: B-C oil), unit heating system(natural gas), central heating system(natural gas) in order.

  • 앞으로 국제경쟁력 확보를 위해서는 성능중심의 건설기술기준 적용이 필요하다. 성능중심의 건설기준을 개발하고, 성능계약제도 도입방안을 구축함으로써 시설물의 성능을 향상시키고, 생애주기비용(LCC)을 절감하며, 설계 및 시공자의 기술개발을 유도하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 건축전기 설비분야의 에너지성능 기준 개념과 외국의 도입사례를 살펴보고, 에너지성능기준 개발 대상 및 범위를 설정하고 성능기준 개발을 위한 접근방법을 도출하였다.

  • The maintenance management in buildings has got more important by the increasing complexity of building sizes and use. Nowadays an expectation and a possibility of BIM technology become accepted as a new construction management method, therefore many studies and legal systems of it are being suggested actively. Although orders for BIM projects are supposed to be increasing, at present the BIM information accumulated from planning and design still doesn't have its continuity at the maintenance step after completion of construction in terms of LCC. Therefore according to bim information, we set a goal of developing apartment maintenance system which is able to maintain by user and administrator viewpoint.

  • This study evaluated the economic benefits by comparing Cooling-Heating System with the existing system in the public library. The building's annual energy consumption was measured by adding the figures of the absorber chillers, the air conditioners and heaters in the building. The total amount of annual energy consumption was 143.51RT in air-conditioning and 83.66RT in heating. So, We made the capacity of geothermal heat pumps three 50RTs in order to check up this system. In order to estimate each construction and equipment cost and to evaluate economical efficiency, LCC(Life Cycle Cost) method was used and the service life of the building was sixty years. The result of analysis was that the geothermal cooling-heating system was more efficient than the existing system in public library.

This study analyzes and classifies required information in terms of BIM in the range of estimating repair costs of apartment buildings, as an example of a way to use BIM information at the maintenance step.

  • This paper presents concrete pattern recognition method to identify the strength of concrete by evidence accumulation with multiple parameters based on artificial intelligence techniques. At first, variance(VAR), zero-crossing(ZCR), mean frequency(MEANF), and autoregressive model coefficient(ARC) and linear cepstrum coefficient(LCC) are extracted as feature parameters from ultrasonic signal of concrete. Pattern recognition is carried out through the evidence accumulation procedure using distance measured with reference parameters. A fuzzy mapping function is designed to transform the distances for the application of the evidence accumulation method. Results(92% successful pattern recognition rate) are presented to support the feasibility of the suggested approach for concrete pattern recognition.

  • Purpose: Ground source heat pump system has been attracted in the horticulture industry for the reduction of energy costs and the increasing of farm income. Even though it has higher initial costs, if it uses in combination with heat storage, it is able to reduce the initial costs and operate efficiently. In order to have significant effect of heat storage type ground source heat pump system, it is required to design the capacity considering various conditions such as energy load pattern and operating schedule. Method: In this study, we have designed heat storage type ground source heat pump system in 5 cases by the operating schedule, and examined the system to find the most economic and having superb performance regarding the system COP(Coefficient of Performance) and energy consumption, using dynamic energy simulation, TRNSYS 17. Result: Conventional ground source heat pump system has lower energy consumption than heat storage type, but following the result of LCC(Life Cycle Cost) analysis, the heat storage type was more economic due to the initial costs. In addition, it has the most efficient performance and energy costs in the case of the smallest heat storage time.

  • In order to use and manage the building energy efficiently, it is necessary to minimize building energy consumptions, and establish operation plans of various equipment. The maximum heating and cooling load calculation is an essential way in various equipment selections, and the annual building load calculation is used in forecasting & evaluating the LCC required for operation plan. In this study, noting that the annual building load changes depending on outside temperature around year, we propose a predicting method of annual building load. By using the $4^{th}$ polynomial function that have two double radix and a feature the $f(x)=a^4$ in x = 0 condition, we can calculate annual building load very easily only with the two result (maximum heating and cooling load) and a minimum parameters.

Practical Experiences with Corrosion Protection of Water Intake Gates in Mekong River

  • Corrosion behaviour of water intake gate steel structures with different protective measures was investigated. Five material alternatives were taken for investigation, including: imported and recycled stainless steel, carbon steel with hot zinc spraying, painting and composite coatings. Results of corrosion rate for carbon steel, SUS 304, hot zinc spray coats in three water systems of Mekong river basin (saline, blackish and fresh) were also presented. Corrosion rate of carbon steel decreased with decreasing salinity in the investigated water environments. Meanwhile, these values for zinc coated steel, behaved by another way. Environmental data for these systems were filed and discussed in relation with corrosion characteristics. Method of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) was applied in materials selection for water intake gate construction. From point of Life Cycle Cost (LCA) the following ranking was obtained: Zinc sprayed steel < Recycled stainless steel < Composite coated steel < Painting steel < SUS 304 From investigated results, hot zinc spray coating has been applied as protective measure for steel structures of water intake systems in Mekong river basin.
