북제주군 협재리 해안가 인근에 소재한 건지굴을 대상으로 화산지역의 용암동굴에서 특이하게 진행되고 있는 응암석회질화(鎔岩石灰質化: lava-calcification)의 위종동(僞鐘洞)에 대하여 동굴내부와 주변상황에 근거한 분석, 고찰을 통하여 석회질화의 원인을 규명하고, 생태와 환경 및 동굴해안접경구와의 상관성을 고찰하고, 주위에 흔히 분포되어있는 스코리아에 대해 분석응용을 하였다. 용암(화산)동굴은 생성이후 퇴화한다. 그러나 용암동굴에서 용암석회질화의 위종동 현상이 발생하면 용암의 기공과 균열부분 또는 용암석간의 공극에 석회질 성분이 침투, 고화, 융합되면서 구조적 보강효과의 발생으로 오히려 건축구조물의 콘크리트 역할과 같이 견고하게 진행되는 특이현상을 갖는다. 이와 같은 진행성 용암석회질화 현상이 북제주군 협재리에 소재한 건지굴에서 진행되고 있음을 최초로 확인하였다.

A 23-year-old female with aggressive periodontitis was treated using dental implants and LAVA system. The severely compromised teeth were extracted irrespective of initial conservative periodontal treatment. An implant-supported overdenture with 4 implants was fabricated for the maxilla and all-ceramic restorations for the mandible. Esthetic and functional goals were achieved with team approach involving periodontists and prosthodontists. This case report describes a treatment procedure for a generalized aggressive periodontitis patient with severe bone resorption.

제주도 동부지역 구좌읍 한동리-송당리를 연결하는 직선상의 4개 지점에서 착정한 심부관측정에 대한 시추코어 지질검층과 심도별 수온ㆍ전기전도도 검층 결과, 제주도를 형성시킨 화산활동과 관련된 화산분출물(용암류 및 쇄설물)은 해수면하 136~170m 범위까지만 분포하고 있고, 그 하부에는 미교결의 U층(U Formation)이 분포하고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 구좌읍 한동리에 소재한 둔지봉(해발 280m)을 경계로 해안지역의 U층 상부에는 용암이 바다속으로 흘러갈 때 생겨나는 베개용암(Pillow Lava)이 분포하고 있음이 최초로 확인되었으며, 이 베개용암층을 통해 고염분지하수가 내륙쪽으로 확산되는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 담수지하수체 하부에 존재하는 고염분 지하수체는 해안에서 내륙쪽으로 오면서 점진적으로 감소하고 기저지하수체(담ㆍ염수 혼합대를 형성하는 지하수체)는 해안으로부터 약 6~6km(해발 120~130m)지역까지 분포하고 있으며, 담수지하수 렌즈체의 두께는 이론적인 G-H비 보다 훨씬 얇은 것으로 나타났다.

As a result of the faunistic study on the subterranean cyclopoid copepods, four species of three genera in the family Cyclopidae are reported from nine limestone caves and a lava tube in South Korea: Megacyclops magnus (Marsh, 1920), Acanthocyclops orientalis Borutzky, 1966, A, robustus (Sars, 1863) and Diacyclops suoensis Ito, 1956, all of them new to Korean fauna. This paper deals with the taxonomic accounts and illustrations of the four species with the redescription of A. orientalis. This is the first taxonomic study on the cave-dwelling cyclopoid copepods from Korea.

In Japan, on the volcanic line from Mt.Fuji to Hachijou Isl. in Pacific, we can see the many fissure erupted craters. The fissure eruption hasn't always left the rift caves. Recently I am investigated this era and recognized the rift caves. at Mt. Fuji 4. Miyake Isl. 3, Hachijou Isl. 3. The time of fissure eruption in Miyake Isl. make the long crack and gush the lava flow. But. we can see the rift caves only in the caldera. In the rift caves, we can see the thin coated lava on the scoria wall of the cavity and not only the side ways to extend by gasic pressure, on the surface of the earth. It is tow type rift caves. 1) The gas run to the side direction and built the cavities and after blowout the ground. 2) The gas built the cavity and then blowout the earth. I think that the thick scoria layers the most important factor and indispensable condition to built the rift caves.

Existing email may reveal privacy and sensitive information because it ran read and modify email by simple method. So, It required development of strong cryptographic email system. This paper available that email system provide delivery and content proof and seure key-exchange using lava Crypto API

In order to efficiently provide the learning ability for engineering education, electromagnetic field simulator have been developed on lava 2 platform. Each simulation module based on lava applet can be easily utilized with independent platform and provide GUI environment to set up physical conditions. The numerical results using computer animation technique are provided in real time. To aggregate and manage the learning objects, application of SCORM which is e-Learning standards is also studied.
