옥수수의 형태적 변화와 생장 발육 단계 (Growth Stages of Maize (Zea mays, L.))

  • 옥수수 생장발육의 한 Scheme을 작성하기 위하여 조생종 MIC-1과 만생종 수원 19호를 공시하여 1980년 4월 25일부터 6월 24일까지 12일 간격으로 6파종기를 두고, 휴폭 60cm에 주간 15cm로 파종하여 본시험을 실시하였다. 여기에서는 작물체의 주요기관 즉 엽, 기, 자종의 형태적 변화를 주로 조사하였으며 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 엽신의 발육을 그 전개정도에 따라 10등액으로 구분하여 Leaf Development Index(LDI)를 정의하였다. 2. 엽출현율(LAR)은 평균 3일로써 품종간, 재배시기간 큰 차가 없었다. 3. 출현 후 약 1개월 후에 절간이 신장하기 시작하여 절위별로 신장하며 지상부 제 1절이 벽출되는 시기는 제 8-9엽기에 해당되었다. 4. Silks의 형태적 변화는 종실의 발달과 밀접한 관계가 있었다(표 4참조). 5. 영양생장기간은 품종간 및 재배시기간에 차이가 현저하였지만 생식생장기간은 별차이가 없었다. 6. 완전전개된 엽수, 비대된 절수 그리고 Silks의 형태적 변화 및 종실발달 등으로 옥수수의 Scheme을 제시하였다.

Antifungal Activity of Methyl 2-Benzimidazole Carbamate

  • Antifungal properties of methyl 2-benzimidazole carbamate(BMC) were investigated using 16 fungi. Cytotoxicity test of BMC revealed that the morphology of HeLa cells was considerably deformed even at the concentrations as low as 0.1 ppm. Minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) values of BMC for 7 fungi among the 16 tested ones were lower than $1.95{\times}10^{-4}{\mu}g/ml$, while Aspergillus flavus showed an MIC value higher than 1.0 ${\mu}g/ml$. Tolerance induction against BMC was successful only for Paecilomyces farinosus LAR10, contrary to the expectation that tolerance would be induced for the fungi having high MIC values such as Aspergillus niger ATCC 9642 and A. flavus ATCC 9643. Spore germination of A. niger ATCC 9642 was suppressed by BMC. However the mycelial growth of the fungus once germinated was not retarded at all by BMC up to 8 MIC. Addition of lanosterol provided a remedy for the reduced germination rate of A. niger ATCC 9642 spores.

수종 식물의 밀도-경쟁효과에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Competition-Density Effect of Some Higher Plants)

  • The studies of density effect or the effect of population density on plant growth have been done on basis of dry matter production with Raphanus acanthiformis var. simoodaeguen, Brassica campestris var. Pekinensis f. namsounsokoombecheu, Oryza sativa f. kimmajae and O. sativa f. mangyeng grown in the various spacing. 1. In the early period of plant growth in dry weight was not different each other among varying densities, but as time advanced the plant grown vast space grew sufficiently compared with those of narrow one. 2. Iogarithmic relation between the growth of plant (W) and the density (P), log W-log P in the material plants, were approximated by two straight lines, one was horizontal line and another inclined: the former showed non-competition density and the latter competition density addition to these the point interlinking both lines were implied of the optimum density per unit land area at certain growth period. 3. The values of relatvie growth rate (RGR) and net assimilation rate (NAR) were decreased as increase in the density, while those of leaf area ratio (LAR) were rather increased in the same condition, with minor exception. From these results and relation between the productive structure and due to lack of the recieved light intensity owing to the mutal shading among the plants.

증령에 따른 치고졸의 변화에 관한 방사선학적 연구(I) (Radiographic Study of the Alveolar Bone Changes with Aging)

  • The author measured the degree of alveolar bone resorption around mandibular central incisors in Korean female(254). Mandibulr central incisors were selected from the females who do not have periodontal disease or malocclusion. The selected radiograms were enlarged in the $5"\times7"$ printing papers for the precise measuring. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The average alveolar bone resorption around mandibular central incisors in Korean women were 1.91mm in 3rd decade, 2, 16mm in 4th decade, 2.51mm in 5th deacade, 2.70mm in 6th decade, 2.94mm in older age group. 2. Alveolar bone resorption and age were in positive correlation; there is a tendency that the alveolar bone resorption increase with aging. 3. The regression equation is as follows. 수분공급조절에 의한 족제비싸리의 생장과 내건성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Growth and the Drought Resistance of Amorpha fructicosa under the Control of Water Supply)

  • The growth and the resistance of Amorpha fructicosa L. under water control was experimented in frames out of doors. The plant grew in a wagner's pot under water control. The soil moisture content was controlled at 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. The growth of leaf, stem and root in the groups of 5% and 10% soil moisture content were different from values in the groups of 15% and 20%. The T/R ratio in the groups of 5% and 10% soil moisture content were different from the ratio in the groups of 15% and 20% soil moisture content. The T/R ratio of former was lower than the latter, but the C/F ratio of the former was higher than the latter. RGR and NAR of Amorpha fructicosa decreased in 5% and 10% soil moisture content but increased in 15% and 20% soil moisture content during growing period. The maximum values of RGR and NAR were respectively 0.089 and 0.080 at 20% soil moisture content. The highest value of LAR was 1.560 at 5% soil moisture content. RGR and NAR were comparatively affected by soil moisture content.

Conceptual Study of Fusion-Fission Hybrid Reactor for Transmutation of a Nuclear Waste

  • The concept of a fusion-driven transmutation reactor based on LAR (Low Aspect Ratio) tokamak as a neutron source is studied based on ITER physics and technology. The radial build of transmutation reactor components are self-consistently determined by coupling the systems analysis with radiation transport analysis and an optimal configuration of a transmutation reactor for aspect ratio, A in the range of 1.5 to 2.0 is found. The performance of a transmutation reactor is investigated and shows that a transmutation reactor with a neutron source producing fusion power less than 150 MW can destroy the transuranic actinides contained in the spent fuels produced from more than two 1 GWe PWRs with production of the fission power being greater than 2 GW.

Interactive Effects of UV-B and Pesticides on Photosynthesis and Nitrogen Fixation of Anabaena doliolum

  • The effects of UV-B and commercial grade pesticides (butachlor and carbofuran), individually and in combination, were studied on a variety of physiological processes of rice field cyanobacterium Anabaena doliolum. Butachlor was found to be $2-12\%$ more toxic than carbofuran and $4-24\%$ than UV-B on the growth, photosynthesis, lipid peroxidation, membrane permeability, and nitrogenase activity of the test cyanobacterium. Of the three photosynthesis inhibitors, the butachlor-induced inhibition of whole chain was approximately 3 and $21\%$ higher than carbofuran and UV-B, respectively. Although the interaction of the stress factors caused a significant inhibition (P<0.01), it was still less than the additive effect on the parameters investigated, except for PSI.

  • 해상에서 인터넷을 사용하는 데 많은 기술적, 경제적 제약이 따른다. 육상의 인터넷 서비스를 바다 위에서 실현하기 위해서는 기지국과 같은 중앙 통제 시스템이 없는 MANET을 기반으로 하는 해상통신망이 새롭게 구축되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 해상환경과 선박 내 단말장치의 특성을 최대한 고려한 해상 MANET 모델을 새롭게 설계하였다. 원양에서 선박들이 주로 주어진 항로를 기준으로 항해하는 특성을 고려하여, 개별적 이동노드(선박)를 대상으로 경로를 찾는 것이 아니라 정적 정보인 항로와 동적 정보인 선박을 복합적으로 활용하여 최단경로를 찾아내는 복합적 항로기반 라우팅(HCBR) 프로토콜을 제안하였다. 지리 정보를 이용하는 LAR 프로토콜과 성능 비교에서 경로 발견 시 제어패킷을 전혀 쓰지 않으면서 최단 경로를 훨씬 더 잘 찾아내는 특성을 실험적으로 파악하였다.

  • Let($X^{\ast},\tau^{\ast}$) be the space with one point Lindeloffication topology of space (X,$\tau$). This paper offers the definition of the space with one point Lin-deloffication topology of a topological space and proves that the retraction regu-lar closed function f: $K^{\ast}(X^{\ast}$) defined f($A^{\ast})=A^{\ast}$ if p $\in A^{\ast}$ or ($f(A^{\ast})=A^{\ast}-{p}$ if $p \in A^{\ast}$ is a homomorphism. There are two examples in this paper to show that the retraction regular closed function f is neither a surjection nor an injection.

고온평판의 분무냉각특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spray Cooling Characteristics of hot Flat Plates)

  • In order to study heat transfer characteristics of spray cooling for the purpose of uniform and soft cooling of high temperature surface a series of experiments for a hot horizontal copper flat plate was performed by downflow spray water using flat spray nozzle. Cooling curves were mea-sured under the various experimental conditions of flow rates and temperatures of cooling water Surface temperature surface heat fluxes and heat transfer coefficients of horizontal upward-facing flat surface were calculated with cooling curves measured at each radial positions near the cooling surface by TDMA method. Generally heat transfer characteristics for spray cooling is simi-lar to boiling phenomenon of pool boiling. The minimum heat flux(MHF) appear at the surface temperature of about ${\Delta}Tsat=250^{\circ}C$ and the critical heat flux(CHF) appear at about ${\Delta}Tsat=250^{\circ}C$.
