Separation and Concentration of L-Phenylalanine using a Supported Liquid Membrane

  • The separation and concentration of L-phenylalanine (L-Phe) using a supported liquid membrane (SLM) is investigated. A cation complex agent, di-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid (D2EHPA), is used as a carrier in the SLM with n-Heptane as a solvent. The reaction order and equilibrium constant in the formation reaction of L-phe-carrier complex are obtained from the extraction experiment. A mathematical model for a carrier mediated counter transport process is proposed to estimate the diffusion coefficient of L-phe-carrier complexly in the liquid membrant. Permeation experiments of L-phe using a SLM are performed under various operating conditions and optimum conditions for the transport of L-phe are obtained. Concentration of L-phe in the strip phase against its concentration is observed. Transport rate of glucose through liquid membrane is less than that of L-phe in the competitive transport of L-phe and glucose. And the existence of glucose reduced the transport rate of L-phe. The performance of separation with continuous strip phase is increased due to the dilution effect in the strip phase.

  • As an application of GPS is increased by world geodetic system introduction gradually, in this time, It is increased necessary of GPS baseline analysis program development. In this study, I developed a baseline analysis program by L1/L2 carrier. And I compared a baseline analysis result with a commercial program. I showed precision of approximately ${\pm}$1cm in a baseline length in case of Narrow lane as a result that a baseline analysised a developed program.

  • As the utility value of GPS in surveying field is on the increase after the conversion into the world geodetic system, it is attracting the interest of many people involved in the application of GPS. In this study an algorithm was established settling ambiguity through LAMBDA techniques and the baseline processing program was developed for L1/L2 carrier phase using visual c++ 6.0, which is an object-oriented language. And the developed program proved that it maintained a difference of less than 3mm over the short baseline of 1.5m or shorter when compared with other commercialized programs.

  • 갈릴레오 위성시스템의 정확한 위치 확인을 위해서는 기본적으로 정화한 반송파 추적이 이루어져야 한다. 주파수 오차를 추적하기 위한 FLL은 전파 도달 시간의 변화를 발생시키는 동적 음력에 강인하지만 정확한 반송파 추적이 어렵다. 반면 위상 오차를 추적하기 위한 PLL은 정확한 반송파 추적이 가능하지만 동적음력에 약하고 높은 동적음력에서 반송파 추적성능이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 갈릴레오 L1F 신호에서 높은 동적응력에서도 정확한 반송파 추적이 가능하도록 FLL과 PLL의 상호 보완적인 운용과 FLL지원의 PLL 루프필터를 적용한 반송파 추적루프를 설계하였으며, 모의실험을 통하여 제안한 기법의 성능을 입증하였다.

GPS를 이용한 선간거리계의 정확도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the accuracy of Rangefinder between vessels by use of GPS)

  • The experimented rangefinder consist of sets of V/A-Code GPS and sets of L1 C/A-code & carrier phase receivers connected by two spread spectrum radio modems in order to measure relative range and bearing between two ship antennas by real time, comparing and analyzing accuracy of both GPS receivers at the fix point on the land by means of executing zero baseline test by C/A code and by carrier phase as well as measuring distance range 5m, 10m, 15m between each other receivers. The results from the measurement of relative range and bearing are as follows as ;1. According to the results from zero baseline test, the average error by C/A-code receiver is less than 0.1m, which proves theories from published books but when each GPS receivers track different satellites, the range accuracy error becomes up to 100m by means of S/A. Because of this sudden wide range error, rangefinder is not appropriate at relative range measurement without additional modification of the algorism of the GPS receiver itself.2. According to relative range measurement by Carrier Phase and zero baseline test at static condition, the range error is less than 3.5cm in case that it passes more than 5 minutes after GPS sets can track simultaneously more than 6 satellites. Its main reason is understood that the phase center of antenna is bigger than geodetic antenna.3. When range measurement of two receivers from 5m, to 10m to 15m, the each range error is 0.340m, 0.190m, 0.011m and each standard variation is 0.0973m, 0.0884m, 0.0790m. The range error and standard variation are in inverse proportion to distance between two receivers. 4. L1 Carrier Phase GPS generally needs 5 minutes to fix and during this ambiguity search, the relative range and bearing angle is shown to be various.

  • 한국천문연구원 GPS 그룹은 iRTK(inverted Real Time Kinematic)기 법을 이용한 준실시각 정밀측위 시스템을 개발한 바 있다. 이 연구는 중저가형 L1 반송파 수신기를 이용하여 측위 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 시스템의 자료처리능력을 개선시켰다. 이를 위해 시스템 자료 처리부에 확장 칼만 필터 방법을 적용하여 측위 정확도를 검증하였다. 실험은 30m 초단기선에서부터 20km 단기선까지 이루어졌다. 10km이내 기선에서 1분 관측시간으로 1m 수준을, 약 20km 기선에서 2분 관측으로 1m 수준의 측위결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이는 이전의 3m 수준에 비해 약 70%정도 향상된 것이다. 이 시스템을 이용하면 지적물 위치파악이나 물류시스템과 같은 준실시각 정밀측위 분야에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

FARA를 이용한 Inverted RTK 측위 정확도 향상에 대한 연구 (Study on the Improvement of the Positioning Accuracy for Inverted RTK Using FARA)

  • 실시간 측위 정확도 향상을 위해 많은 방법들이 수행되고 있다. 그 중에 하나가 위상 데이터를 처리함으로써 정밀한 위치 해를 제공해 주는 Inverted RTK(Real-time kinematic)이다. Inverted RTK 측위를 위해서는 최소 1~2분 정도의 1Hz 관측 데이터와 부가적으로 여러 상시 관측소 및 통신 시스템 그리고 데이터 프로세싱 서버가 필요하다. 실시간 응용을 위해서 L1 코드와 반송파 위상 데이터가 동시에 사용되었으며 모호 정수 추정을 위해 칼만 필터를 사용하였다. 또한 이중 차분된 참 모호 정수는 FARA(Fast Ambiguity Resolution Approach)를 이용하여 결정하였다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 기선에 대한 필드 테스트 수행 결과를 제시하였다.

Receiver Design for Satellite Navigation Signals using the Tiered Differential Polyphase Code

  • Modernized GNSS signal structures tend to use tiered codes, and all GNSSs use binary codes as secondary codes. However, recently, signals using polyphase codes such as Zadoff-Chu sequence have been proposed, and are expected to be utilized in GNSS. For example, there is Tiered Differential Polyphase Code (TDPC) using polyphase code as secondary code. In TDPC, the phase of secondary code changes every one period of the primary code and a time-variant error is added to the carrier tracking error, so carrier tracking ambiguity exists until the secondary code phase is found. Since the carrier tracking ambiguity cannot be solved using the general GNSS receiver architecture, a new receiver architecture is required. Therefore, in this paper, we describe the carrier tracking ambiguity and its cause in signal tracking, and propose a receiver structure that can solve it. In order to prove the proposed receiver structure, we provide three signal tracking results. The first is the differential decoding result (secondary code sync) using the general GNSS receiver structure and the proposed receiver structure. The second is the IQ diagram before and after multiplying the secondary code demodulation when carrier tracking ambiguity is solved using the proposed receiver structure. The third is the carrier tracking result of the legacy GPS (L1 C/A) signal and the signal using TDPC.

화학기상응축공정(Chemical Vapor Condensation)으로 제조된 Co 나노분말의 미세구조 및 자기적 성질에 미치는 운송기체의 영향 (Effect of Carrier Gas on the Microstructure and Magnetic Properties of Co Nanoparticles Synthesized by Chemical Vapor Condensation)

  • The nano-sized Co particles were successfully synthesized by chemical vapor condensation (CVC) process using the precursor of cobalt carbonyl ($Co_2(CO)_8$). The influence of carrier gases on the microstructure and magnetic properties of nanoparticles was investigated by means of XRD, TEM, XPS and VSM. The Co nano-particles with different phases and shapes were synthesized with a change of carrier gas : long string morphologies with coexistence of fcc and hcp structure in Ar carrier gas condition; finer Co core in a mass of cobalt oxide with only fcc structure in He; rod type cobalt oxide phase in Ar+6vol%$O_2$. The saturation magnetization and coercivity was lower in Co nanoparticles synthesized in He carrier gas, due to their finer size.
