A change of Finsler metric L(x,y)longrightarrowL(x,y) is called a Randers change of L, if L(x,y) = L(x,y) +$\rho$(x,y), where $\rho$(x,y) = $\rho$(sub)i(x)y(sup)i is a 1-form on a smooth manifold M(sup)n. Let us consider the special Randers change of Finsler metric LlongrightarrowL = L + $\beta$ by $\beta$. On the basis of this special Randers change, the purpose of the present paper is devoted to studying the conditions for Finsler space F(sup)n which are transformed by a special Randers change of Finsler spaces F(sup)n with ($\alpha$,$\beta$)-metrics of Douglas type to be also of Douglas type, and vice versa.

To development food preservative, antimicrobial activities of Schizandra chinensis (SC) against Listeria monocytogenes Scott A, L. monocytogenes Brie I and L. monocytogenes ATCC 19111 were investigated. The growth of L. monocytogenes Scott A, L. monocytogenes Brie I and L. monocytogenes ATCC 19111 was inhibited apparently in Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) containing 1% SC at 35$\circ$C and it was found that these had antibacterial effects against a broad spectrum of pathogenic bacteria such as S. aureus ATCC 29737, B. subtilis KCTC 1021, E. coli ATCC 11775. The growth of L. monocytogenes was also inhibited about 3 to 5 log$_{10}$ cycle by 0.1% of three fractions of the alcohol extract such as ether, ethyl acetate and butanol. Acidic, weakly acid and neutral fraction of ether fraction showed inhibitory properties against L. monocytogenes.

The copolymerization of ethylene (E) and norbornene (N) was examined by using various metallocene catalysts and modified-MAO(MMAO) cocatalyst. For $C_2$-symmetry catalysts such as rac-Et(Ind)$_2$ZrC $l_2$, M $e_2$Si(Ind)$_2$ZrC $l_2$, M $e_2$Si(Cp)$_2$ZrC $l_2$ and Cs-symmetrical iPr(FluCp)ZrC $l_2$ as well as CGC and di-bridged zirconocene, the effects of catalyst structure and [N]/[E] feed ratio on catalyst activity, thermal property and [N] content of copolymer (COC) was investigated. For rac-Et(Ind)$_2$ZrC $l_2$ catalyst of a constant [N]/[E] feed ratio, the appropriate conditions of [Al]/[Zr] mole ratio, polymerization temperature and cocatalyst structure were found to be 3000, 4$0^{\circ}C$, MMAO cocatalyst, respectively. As [N]/[E] feed ratio increased, the incorporation of norbornene to copolymer increased while, the activity of catalyst decreased except for iPr(FluCp)ZrC $l_2$ With consideration of catalyst activity as well as N content, it was found that rac-Et(Ind)$_2$ZrC $l_2$/MMAO system exhibited relatively high activity and controllable $T_{g}$. Al centro dell'interesse di Strehler ci sono sempre l'uomo e le sue azioni, e l'uomo e la posizione del teatro. Inoltre, nei suoi teatri vengono alla luce i rapporti che interessano l'uomo e la societa', l'uomo e se stesso, l'uomo e la storia, l'uomo e la politica. Strehler interpreta sempre i testi prendendo in considerazione la contemporaneita' e completa la rappresentazione strutturandola in un sistema implacabilmente coerente di segni scrulolosi. Poiche' le sue opere, anche se le stesse, sono rappresentate ogni volta con significati diversi a secondo del tempo, non si tratta soltanto di rivivere le opere, ma di metterle in scena in nuove versioni che hanno significati che interpretano i cambiamenti avvenuti. Questo e' anche il caso de I giganti della montagna. Nella prima regia di quest'opera, Strehler cerca di mettere in evidenza una concreta e generale storia umana attraverso il mito, e un messaggio che è al tempo stesso di disperazione e di fede nell'uomo. Un messaggio di perdono e di pietà. Pietà per tutti. Nella seconda regia, egli incarna, attraverso il vuoto dell'immobilita' e il silenzio, la vita della poesia. Cerca di rappresentare l'estremo degli effetti scenici attraverso la minima mobilita' in una scena immobile, e attraverso il massimo grido di dolore in una scena di silenzio. E anche i personaggi sono divisi in due diverse categorie. 'Gli scalognati', che creano 'teatro puro' non per un pubblico ma per puro giuoco, e 'la compagnia dei comici', che crea 'teatro rappresentato' che implica la possibilita' dell'interprete condizionato dai rischi, dagli errori di valutazione e d'interpretazione e che resta legato ad una realta' concreta. Attraverso questo contrasto egli vuole esprimere "il timore che nonostante tanta "rivoluzione" giovanile intorno, il cammino della societa' degli uomini verso l'abbandono di alti ideali e valori, fosse accelerato e quasi ineluttabile". Nella terza regia, i due mondi si incontrano in uno spazio dove realta' e sogno si confondono. Non sono piu' contrapposti. E' come "una tragica contestazione che i Giganti hanno vinto e che ci hanno, consapevoli o inconsapevoli, travolti, che non siamo piu gli stessi, che stiamo precipitando". Ma egli non dispera, benche' rappresenti la condizione tragica, dice al pubblico di "comunicare in silenzio la reciprocita' delle sconfitte. al di la' delle parole che non esistono".

We investigate complemented Banach subspaces of the Banach envelope of $eak L_1$. In particular, the Banach envelope of $weak L_1$ contains complemented Banach sublattices that are isometrically isomorphic to $l_p, (1 \leq p < \infty)$ or $c_0$. Finally, we also prove that the Banach envelope of $weak L_1$ contains an isomorphic copy of $l^{p, \infty}, (1 < p < \infty)$.

We have recently operated 6 year-old male patient who had double outlet right ventricle with dextrocardia, situs inversus, pulmonary stenosis and 2 ventricular septal defects. Rastelli operation was performed by internal baffling with Cooley woven Dacron and tunnel grafting with Hancock valved conduit between the right ventricle and the main pulmonary artery.His postoperative course was uneventful. He was discharged in good conditions on P.O.D. #33.

We studied on the ultra thin L- $\alpha$ -DLPC by LB method. The $\pi$ -A isotherm of the L- e -DLPC was measured at the air-water interface varying with the compressing speed and amounts of solutions for spreading. The molecular arrangement of deposited films were evaluated by measuring the absorption with the UV spectrometer. And we made structures of metal(Au)/L- $\alpha$ -DLPC/Metal(Au) and examined electron through L- $\alpha$ -DLPC LB films by means of current-voltage(I- V) measurement

The efficient production of glucose isomerase (G. I0.) produced form Arthrobacter sp. L-3 was studied. The optimum culture time of the enzyme was 40hr. The maximum enzyme activity was found at glucose concentration 1%. G. I. activity did not affect inoculum size. The glucose isomerase activity was strongly influenced by the addition of glucose.

Two new orotic acid derivatives orotyl-DL-alanine and orotyl-L-tyrosine were synthesized. They were obtained as high melting crystalline masses by condensing DL-alanine and L-tyrosine each with orotyl chloride in aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, followed by acidifying the reaction mixture.
