Shape Design of an Outer Tie Rod, Considering Durability Criteria (내구 기준을 고려한 아우터 타이 로드의 형상 설계)

  • Weight reduction of automobile parts has been sought to achieve fuel efficiency and energy conservation. In this study, a shape design procedure is suggested to obtained the lightweight design of an outer tie rod. The developed aluminium Al6082M is selected as a steel-substitute material. Strength assesment and durability are the important design criterion in the structural design of an outer tie rod. This study considers strength and durability in the optimization process. In this study, the kriging interpolation method and trial and error method are adopted to obtain the minimum weight satisfying the strength and durability constraints.

  • 최근 기후변화에 의한 가뭄과 홍수의 발생빈도가 증가하고 있는 추세이며 기후변화에 의한 재해는 국민 생활에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 수 있어 전 세계 여러 나라에서는 기후변화에 대한 연구를 활발하게 진행하고 있는 실정이다. 특히 도시유역의 경우 인구와 재산이 밀집해 있기 때문에 기후변화에 의한 수자원의 영향평가나 극한홍수 등의 자연재해에 대비한 홍수방어 적응대책에 대한 연구가 절실히 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도시유역을 중심으로 KMA RCM의 기후변화 시나리오 분석을 통한 미래 확률강수량을 분석하는 시나리오적 방법과 과거 강수 특성과 경향성을 분석하여 비정상성 빈도해석을 통한 미래 확률강수량을 분석하는 비시나리오적 방법을 통한 도시유역의 기후변화 영향을 고려한 확률강수량을 산정하고자 한다. 또한 향후 발생할 수 있는 강우의 불확실성 분석을 통한 미래확률강수량 산정을 실시하고 도시유역의 IDF곡선을 제시함 으로써 기후변화영향을 고려한 도시유역의 수자원 및 물 수요 관리와 제도개선에 활용하고자 한다.

Effect of Wormwood Ethanol Extract on Human Intestinal Microorganisms. (쑥 추출물이 인체 장내 미생물에 미치는 영향)

  • To investigate the effect of wormwood extract on intestinal Microorganisms of human, we examined the changes of the intestinal microflora of 6 volunteers for 13 days. Numbers of total anaerobes in feces of 6 volunteers showed 1010cfu/g before and after intake of wormwood extract. In case of beneficial Microorganisms, wormwood extract did not have an effect on the growth of bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus spp. On the other hand, the growth of C. perfringens and E. coli, the harmful Microorganisms of human intestines, was inhibited by the wormwood extract.

  • 최근 대형화된 재난사고가 빈번히 발생하고 있으며 이에 따른 건축물의 피난설계가 중요시 되고 있지만 일반인에 비해 재해 시 피난이 곤란한 재해약자가 이용하는 시설에서의 성능설계나 피난계획은 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 장애인 복지시설을 대상으로 피난안전성평가를 실시하여 그 문제점을 도출하였으며 그 결과 장애인시설의 피난안전을 위해서는 피난개시시간, 엘리베이터 피난, 내장재, 발코니 유무, 출구 폭 등의 문제점에 관한 대책이 시급하며 또한 성능기반 피난안전설계 의무화가 우선시 되어야 할것으로 판단되었다.

  • U/RE was electrochemically recovered to LCC at $50mA/cm^2$ from LiCl-KCl salt containing $0.5wt%UCl_3$, $0.22wt%NdCl_3$, 0.15wt%$CeCl_3$ and $0.07wt%LaCl_3$. The Cd in the LCC deposit was removed during the distillation using Cd distiller. U/RE product of 107g obtained from the distiller was installed to TG and then heated to $1200^{\circ}C$ to be consolidated. Dense U/RE metal ingot was not acquired through the consolidation process because U/RE product had been partially already oxidized during the distillation process.

  • A mixed working fluid has a potential to widen the operation temperature range of the thermosiphon. In this study, the thermosiphon using $N_2\;and\;CF_4$ mixture as the working fluid is fabricated and tested to verify its transient thermo hydraulic characteristic. A transparent pyrex glass tube was used for the thermosiphon itself and the vacuum chamber was also fabricated by glass to visualize the internal state of thermo siphon. Onset of condensation temperature was related to the partial pressure of $CF_4$. Two solidifications were observed and condensate temperature range of mixed working fluid was from 160K to 70.7K with $N_2$ 25% composition.
