The intrapulmonary teratoma is an extremely rare tumor. Since the orlginaI description by Black in 1981. about 19 cases have been reported in the would literature. We wish to describe the two cases of another patients with this extremely rare tumor.

Purpose: This study was to explore the empowerment experienced by hospital nurses. Methods: Focus group was used to gather data and open coding method suggested by Strauss and Corbin was used to analyze the data. Thirty-four nurses who have clinical experience of more than three years at three university hospitals were participated in this study. Results: Five categories were identified: Getting chances of opportunities to show personal capabilities and motivations, acknowledgement, support, recognition and delightfulness. The major sources of empowerment were the acknowledgement of patients and family, colleagues, supervisors. doctors, and other personnels in hospital. Conclusion: Focus groups could be an useful tool for empowerment research in nursing. Further research will be needed to clarify the relationship among individual, group and organization.

Light-emitting diodes (LED) have many advantages for dental astral lighting because of their high color rendering index (CRI), low power consumption, light weight and longer life. A dental astral lamp is specially designed and simulated for securing the extra space for installing a multimedia display that will be helpful for treating young patients. The optical system using the reverse dual reflection method consisted of four illumination modules disposed at the four corners of the dental astral lamp, and each module comprises a high power LED, an elliptical mirror, and a multifacet reflector assembly using eight cylindrical mirrors. It is shown that the required illuminance, illumination pattern, and the illumination uniformity are well satisfied.

위와 같은 결과로부터 개인마다 다르게 형성되는 혈관의 형상이 혈류역학적 특성을 변화시켜 동맥경화의 발생에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 동일한 관상동맥일지라도 기하학적 형태변화에 따라 좌주간지의 길이가 짧을수록, 좌전하행지와 좌회선지의 분지부 각도가 넓을수록, 동맥경화의 발생이 용이한 형태가 되는데, 이로 미루어 혈관의 형상이 혈류의 유동조건을 변화시켜 혈관내피세포의 손상, 혈류의 정체시간 연장 등으로 나타나 동맥경화가 발생되는 인자가 된다.
