Objectives The purpose of this study is to report 20 cases of tic disorder children who were treated by Kuibiondam-tang Gami. Methods We treated the tic disorder children with herbal medicine, Kuibiondam-tang Gami. Then we evaluated tic disorder by Yale Global Tic Severity Scale (YGTSS) and observed the progress of tic disorder. Results 20 children (male 17, female 3 / transient tic disorder 6, chronic motor or vocal tic disorder 13, Tourette's disorder 1) were studied, the average age of children was $8.45{\pm}2.08$ years, the average duration of illness was $16.55{\pm}13.63$ month and the mean of treatment was $13.20{\pm}9.29$ week. After the treatment, mean of YGTSS was reduced $36.35{\pm}9.84$ to $9.35{\pm}1.03$ and total effective rate was 95%. Conclusions Kuibiondam-tang Gami is effective for reducing tic symptom and improving general conditions in children.

Objectives: The Purpose of this study is to report the effects of Ondam-tang gagambang on menopause syndrome. Methods: Four patients who had menopause syndrome as chief complaints were treated by Gamiondam-tang or Kuibiondam-tang for two weeks. We evaluated the results of treatment by change of symptoms, Kupperman's Index and Menopause Rating Scale (MRS). Results: After treatment, menopause syndrome cases were improved. Almost scores of Kupperman's Index & Menopause Rating Scale (MRS) were reduced. Conclusions: This study suggests that Ondam-tang gagambang is effective on overall Menopause syndrome cases.

This study reported on the effect of traditional Korean medicine on ataxia, gait disturbance, tremor, and dizziness with cerebellar atrophy. The patient was treated with traditional Korean medicines, such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine (Kuibiondam-tang-gami). The effectiveness of the treatment was evaluated with the scale for the assessment and rating of ataxia (SARA). After treatment, the symptoms had improved. The SARA score decreased by 18 points after Korean medicine treatment. According to this study, traditional Korean medicine can be effective to treat ataxia, gait disturbance, tremor, and dizziness in patients with cerebellar atrophy.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to report three cases of epileptic children who were treated by oriental medicine. Methods Three epileptic children were treated by Gwakhyangjeonggi-san and Kuibiondam-tang. Two children had took combination therapy; anti-epilepsy drugs and oriental medicines and the other one took only oriental medicines. We measured frequency and intensity of seizure, and observed general conditions. Results The oriental medicine treatment is not only reducing seizures, but also improving general condition like digestion, constipation and reducing frequency of common cold and symptom of rhinitis. Conclusions Epilepsy in childhood is induced by various factor like Fung (風), Dam (痰), Sik (食), Kyung (驚). We administrated oriental medicine and prevented seizures.
