브랜드자산에 대한 국가이미지 및 기업이미지의 영향에 연구 -중국시장에 진출한 글로벌 브랜드 및 중국 브랜드에 대한 비교를 중심으로- (The study on the Influences of National Image and Corporate Image on Brand Equity -Focused on the Comparison between Chinese brands and Global brands-)

  • 본 연구는 중국 자국 브랜드를 포함하여 중국에 진출한 브랜드의 국가이미지 및 기업이미지를 브랜드의 지각된 품질 그리고 나아가 브랜드이미지 및 자산에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소로 제시하여 그 역할을 검증하였는데 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같이 몇 가지로 정리될 수 있다. 첫째, 국가이미지는 지각된 품질에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소로 광고 등의 다른 촉진요인과 더불어 영향요인으로 충분히 작용할 수 있다. 전체적으로 국가마케팅 차원에서 정부는 앞으로 중국국민들에게 상당부분의 좋은 국가이미지를 심어주기 위한 홍보나 광고 활동들을 체계적으로 추구해 나갈 필요가 있다. 둘째, 본 연구에서 기업이미지 중에서 특히 기업의 제조능력을 중심으로 해당 브랜드에 대한 지각된 품질과 브랜드이미지에의 영향요인을 검증하였다. 결국, 기업이미지는 소비자들의 브랜드에 대한 지각된품질을 높이는 중요한 요소로 작용하는 것으로 나타났기에 중국에서 한국기업들의 기업이미지 중심전략은 상당한 효과를 볼 수 있다고 생각된다. 결과적으로 본 연구는 브랜드자산 형성에 있어서 국가이미지, 기업이미지 등의 변수가 브랜드의 지각된 품질을 높이고 브랜드이미지를 향상시켜 브랜드의 충성도를 고양할 수 있게 되고 결국 브랜드자산이 높아지는 메커니즘을 설명하고 있다고 볼 수 있다.

옥외영상의 개선된 차량번호판 인식기술 (An Improved License Plate Recognition Technique in Outdoor Image)

  • 일반적으로 옥외영상에서의 자동차 번호판 인식은 인위적인 환경에서와는 다르게 기하학적으로 왜곡되어 있을 뿐만 아니라 조명 변화도 크기 때문에 단순환 문제가 아니다. 본 논문에서는 일반 CCTV 카메라로 옥외에서 촬영된 영상에서 자동차 번호판 인식을 위한 개선된 기술들을 제안한다. 먼저 다양한 특징을 상보적으로 사용하는 직렬구조의 다단계 Adaboost 검출기를 제안한다. 제안하는 검출기는 MB-LBP 및 Haar-like 특징을 사용하는 Adaboost 구조를 직렬로 연결하여 번호판 검출의 검출성능을 향상시켰다. 또한 검출된 번호판의 기하학적 왜곡을 보정하고 번호판의 타입을 먼저 결정하여 영상처리를 용이하게 하는 방법을 제안한다. 이런 방법은 그래이 변환, 문자/숫자 분리, 분리된 영상의 영상처리 등에서 사전지식 없이 전체 번호판 영상을 이용하는 경우보다 효율적이다. 본 논문에서 DBN(Deep Belief Network)를 문자/숫자 인식기로 사용하여 영상처리과정에서 기인한 획 손실이나 기울어짐 같은 기하학적인 왜곡에서도 강건한 인식률을 달성하였다.

  • The goal of this research is to describe relations between impressions and elements in an image (i.e. color, texture and contours). Adequate image segmentation technique to extract these elements is required. We think that a sketch and a realistic painting are examples of optimal segmented images for our purpose because brush strokes are seem to be segmented areas and realistic paintings should remain the same impression as the model. For the reason, in this paper the segmentation technique which can create realistic painting-like segmentation is exploited. It is shown that the realistic painting-like segmentation is suitable for analyzing images.

Haar-like 특징과 템플릿을 이용한 귀 검출 (Ear Detection using Haar-like Feature and Template)

  • 영상으로부터 사람의 귀를 검출하는 것은 생체 인식 분야에 있어서 매우 중요한 분야이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 측면 얼굴 영상으로부터 귀를 검출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 먼저 피부색을 이용하여 얼굴 영역을 검출하고 검출된 얼굴 영역으로부터 Haar-like 특징을 이용하여 귀를 검출한다. 그리고 검출된 귀를 검증하기 위해 표준 템플릿을 이용하여 검출된 귀를 검증한다. 실험 결과 본 논문에서 제안된 방법은 기존의 연구에 비해 60%의 처리 속도 향상과 92%의 검출 성공률을 보였다.

패션 디자인에 나타난 파편화된 신체 이미지 연구 (A Study of Body-in-Pieces Images in Fashion Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify the meanings of the images of the body-in-pieces in fashion design. This study focusing on the body-in-pieces based theoretically in that, and started to figure out the meanings in western art history. Body-in-pieces images were brought in art to express symbolic meanings to destroy the past, sexual fetish, unconsciousness, desire, fantasy, and to disorganize male-subjective idealistic female image. While in fashion design, body-in-pieces images categorized in three, erotic image, cyborg image, abjection image. First, erotic images in fashion design are fragmented body image, such like lip, hair, eye and etc. Second, cyborg image was represented by 3-dimentional molding image made of metallic materials, and last, abjection image representing death image used skeleton and bone image induced uncanny and sadistic feelings. Body-in-pieces images in fashion design are related to fetishism, uncanny, disorganizing traditional femininity.

현대 패션쇼에 나타나는 인형과 인형이미지의 내적 의미 (The Internal Meanings of Dolls and Dolls' Images Expressed in Modern Fashion Show)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal meanings of dolls and dolls' images expressed in modern fashion show. Dolls are used as sacred object, decoration object, playing object, personified object or cherished object. The expression types of doll image in modern fashion are as following; substitutes of multi-ego, object of sexual desire, objectified creature, and medium of transcending fantasy. First, dolls image as substitutes of multi-ego had been expressed in magical expression, disgusting mask, transparent mannequin, expressionless, horror, conflict, loss of identity, exaggeration or escapism. Second, as object of sexual desire, dolls image are expressed as naked baby, ambiguous expression, naked body, voluminous body, emphasized specific bodypart, heavy makeup or wax doll of sexy actresses. Third, as objectified creature, dolls are human body in passive form. Human bodies are disassembled and reassembled as dolls. Such dolls reflect serious reality. They wrap up human like product and objectify it. Fourth, dolls image expressed as medium of transcending fantasy recollects youth age or expresses imagination on ambiguous virtual reality. Like this, dolls have value as creatures in various fields of modern fashion. Dolls contribute a lot in creating important inspiration. Dolls also expose internal mentality and represent ego. Externally, dolls express human shape becoming more and more materialized and objectified by advancing scientific technology in digital capitalistic society.

Development of Analysis Module for Marine Traffic Information Using PC Camera

  • Usually marine traffic survey has been conducted by some methods like an ocular observation using portable RADAR, a questionnaire, etc. But these should have expended a lot of manpower and expenses. In this paper, we have developed new observation module which could capture the RADAR image using PC camera simply, and allowed as to track targets on the PC monitor directly. And it has been programmed to make a database of RADAR image, target's track and information, and analyze the marine traffic tendency in various ways like vessel number crossed over gate line, vessel's velocity distribution in gate line, traffic density distribution, etc. We have confirmed that this module could observe and analyze the marine traffic efficiently and economically through several on-the-spot experiments.

국내 의류상품의 트래디셔널 브랜드 마켓에 대한 연구 (A Study on Traditional Brand Market for Fashion Merchandise in Korea)

  • The Traditional Look, a class of fashion, represents image based on British aristocratic authenticity and cultural heritage as unchangeable and lasting classic fashion style. And recently, it keeps up with the trend of modern and young consumers' desire by putting various images. The purpose of the study is to investigate the concept, image and present market condition and to analyze degree of consumers' brand awareness of Traditional brand in pursuit of developing new market and ensuring power between competitive brands. From above work, surveyed on degree of brand awareness and interest, preference, associable image and purchase factors coming from consumers. 606 data were analyzed with SPSS package. Frequency, Factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Multiple response, and correlation were applied. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Traditional brand has a high degree at consumers' brand awareness but comparatively lower at interest in it. In band name, while the Burberry has the highest brand awareness, the Polo and the Hunt take first and second position in a purchasing rate. Brand preference has tendency to be concentrated on certain brands showing the outstanding highest degree like the Polo in the 20s, and the Burberry in the 50s in aspect of age structure. 2. In associable image of Traditional brand, it is associate with noble image as dignified, classical and intellectual with itself strongly among practical, individuality, confidential and noble image. 3. As the purchase factors of traditional brand products, it depends on mainly the reliability and esthetic factors like design and quality rather than ostentatious and practical factors. 4. Associable image except individuality image is correlated with the purchase factors of traditional brand.

한국적 의복이미지와 디자인과의 관계 - 한국과 미국의 비교 - (The Relation between the Korean Costume Image and the Design - The Comparison of Korean and American-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the meaning structure of Korean costume image in contemporary Korean fashion design expressed beauty of traditional dress. This study compared Korean and American regarding the evaluation of Korean costume image. The result was as follows; 1. The constructing factors of Korean costume image were found out as elegance, simplicity, neatness, femineity, looseness. (total variance; 62%) 2. The visual evaluation between Korean and American were sinificantly different regarding 5 factors. 3. Korean costume design were classified 4 clusters. Korean traditional fabrics and colors were commonly used in the 4 clusters. Difference of design were found in the structure of form. Formation of Korean costume image were influenced by silhouette and pattern of fabric. 4. Image of 'Would like to purchase' were influenced by image of taste.

  • Satellite and aerial images are very useful means to monitor ecological and environmental situation. Nowadays more and more officials at Ministry of Environment in Korea need to access and use these image data through networks like internet or intranet. However it is very hard to manage and service these image data through internet or intranet, because of its size problem. In this paper very large image data service system for Ministry of Environment is constructed on web environment using image compression and web based image processing technology. Through this system, not only can officials in Ministry of Environment access and use all the image data but also can achieve several image processing effects on web environment. Moreover officials can retrieve attribute information from vector GIS data that are also integrated with the system.
