All singers can often develop voice trouble secondary to vocal abuse and overuse, but it is well known that traditional Korean singer (pansori) develop voice disorders more frequently than western style sunger. While laryngological concern for voice disorders arising in professional singers has received some attention, empirically motivated investigations of the underlying acoustic features of the singing voice have been relatively limited. Since all singers have a good knowledge of the voice and voice training, they would hardly give consent for treatment to a doctor unless he understood their desire to maximize their voice quality. The components of this report are composed of breathing, basic ekement, and vocalization, essencial fact, for getting a perfect voice for pansori. The breathing is based on hypogastric breathing. The main functions of breathing are energy and power of utterence, tempo of rhythm and seperating paragraph and controlling feelings according to dramatic situation. Vocalization is based on general vocalization. Main uses of it are maintaining singer's tone and harmony of cosmetic dual force.

Yin Yang theory is the first and the last one to interpret diseases apply to treatment in oriental medicine. So it is regarded as the way of heaven and earth, the discipline of all things, the origin of change, the beginning of giving birth and death, the source of spirit. These regulatory passages are needed to compare with western medical physiology and analyzed whether it has scientific bases or not. The Yin Yang theory of traditional oriental medicine are summerized from the descriptions of Scripture of Documents, Ying Wei theory of Huangdi Neijing. Meanwhile up-to-date neurobiological and molecular genetic theories on circadian physiology are reviewed in western medicine. Sunshine is transferred through RGC to SCN, herein the central circadian rhythm is made by zeitgeber and interaction of melatonin secreted from pineal body and orexin from mp pan of hypothalamus. So HPA axis is activated and controlled under the circadian rhythm and affects peripheral tissues and cells of whole body through glucocorticoid hormones. First of all, the circadian rhythm makes the basic patterns of human life in biological and sociological meaning. It is almost same context with the record of the Scripture of Documents. Also the Ying Qi and Wei Qi is basically same with the sleep-awake mechanism, that is melatonin/orexin signal or per/clk/bmal/cry genes with circadian activation and activity of each organ's physiological function. Conclusively it can be said that Yin Yang is a priori principle of living things and the beginning of giving birth and death for activation of them biologically, as is described in Huangdi Neijing.

The purpose of this study is to consider the health and well-being of singing, an expression activity of language. There are also many studies in which singing activities have a positive effect on individual quality of life and social activities. Therefore, this study attempted to suggest that more effective singing is being performed by increasing empathy through various expressions of onomatopoeia and mimic words. Love Changbu Taryeong (愛倡夫打令) is Korea's traditional representative Gyeonggi folk song. It is a cheerful and lyrical folk song based on the five scale of Sol-ra-do-re-mi. It sings not only human joy, sorrow, and pleasure, but also natural phenomena and scenes. It is an exciting rhythm based mainly on the Gutgeori jangdan (rhythmic pattern, 12/8) but it is a rhythm that you can feel the sadness in it. In particular, various onomatopoeia and mimic words appear in this song, making you think about the fun of singing and the origin of the language. Therefore, this study attempted to examine that more effective singing is becoming more effective by increasing empathy through various expressions of onomatopoeia and mimic words. The purpose of this study is to analyze the formative characteristic of modern Tap dance costume according to its origin and kinds. For this purpose, the study explored the review of literature focusing on the historical back ground of Tap dance and investigated into the kinds of modern tap dance and the formative feature of the tap dance costume. Costumes of leading tap dancers in representative performances and movies are analyzed. The results are summarized as follows: The kinds of current tap dance could be categorized as three types of Jazz Tap Dance, Rhythm & Funk Tap Dance, Irish tap Dance as their development origin. The Tap dance widely distributed through the U.S. Hollywood movie, The Jazz Tap Dance costume was composed of magnificent and luxurious design applying the high fashion of the 1930s and 1950s in the male and female costumes. The U.S. Blacks' tap dance, Rhythm & Funk Tap costume had a close relation with resistant blacks' culture, and showing the type of free dressing not bound by previous tap dance dress. The Irish Tap Dance originated from Irish folk dance displayed the tap dance embroidered costume using the Irish traditional pattern. This study systemized the characteristic of the tap dance costume by kind, and explored the dress revealed at the tap dance as a symbolic system to the cultural zone where the dance is made.

The mask used in drama has been reappreciated, and it needs profound and systematic studies in order to form the mask to effective use. In research, the aesthestic values in the masks of he latter period of Chosun(the mideighteenth century-the early nineteenth century) was examined through the analysis of traditional drama in accordance with the historical social background. In the later period of Chosun, the active performance of the mask in company with the occurrence of a popular movement caused by people's self-awakening showed a close relationship between the development of the mask and its historical background the moulding characteristic of the mask was analysed before and after the eighteenth century, and regionally in the south and in the middle and the north. The mask express the quality of art before he eighteenth century. It showed, on the other hand, a strong social nature and a touch of satires on society in the south and a religional interest in he middle and the north. This study shows from the viewpoint of a aesthetics that traditional Korean mask during Chosun period had comfortable and voluminous forms with beauty curved lines and colors and rhythm. The aesthetic values in mask as expressed through the aesthetic characteristics have been classified the beauty of nature the beauty of personality, the beauty of traditions. Visual image with these beauty in masks were expressed into fashion illustration of suits and dresses.

The Miaos have their own unique and luxurious culture traditional and modern formed as they have experienced repeated fusion into and resistance against the Han Race or the Chinese in their long and old history. Taijiang County of Guizhou Provice, in which whey have been living, is endowed with natural beauty. Thus their culture enjoys abundant and diverse contents of artificial and natural character. Naturally, their costume reflects cultural and natural features in abundance and variety. This dissertation aims to investigate the artistic character of Miaos' traditional costume as reflected in patterns for their embroidery. As for the artistic character of the patterns for embroidery, the following were found. To begin with, the space in the Miaos' embroidery is, unlike the measurable three-dimensional space found in Greek art, unmeasurable and fantastic with its beauty, majesty and peculiarity. It is as if immersed in limitless space, they were in communion with gods and universe. Another characteristic is the use of image construction beyond mere imitation. Their mode of image construction was realistic in that patterns as a whole reveal an abstract form or meaning but separately they portray visual representations of concrete thins in nature. Still another is that sense of motion conveyed by the basic curve line is full of life. It was the result of using light rhythm breaking stereotypic balance and symmetry. Finally, the colouring was abstract, and a strong contrast between black and white was gorgeous and fantastic.

본 연구는 한국 전래동요 중에서 유아에게 적합한 것을 선정하기 위한 기준을 마련하여 유아교육 현장에서 전래동요가 효율적으로 적용되기 위한 가능성의 구안에 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 설정한 연구문제는 첫째, 유아에게 적합한 한국 전래동요의 선정 기준은 어떠한가, 둘째, 선정기준에 따른 유아를 위한 한국 전래동요는 어떠한가이다. 먼저, 유아에게 적합한 한국 전래동요의 기준을 선정하기위해 유아교육 및 유아교육 관련 전문가 30명을 대상으로 델파이 조사를 통해 문항을 선정하였다. 수집된 응답들은 spss 12.0의 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차를 계산하였다. 연구 결과 유아에게 적합한 한국 전래동요의 선정 기준은 '전통적 놀이공간과 놀이언어의 즐거움이 살아있는가, 옛 아이들의 생활 모습과 정서를 담고 있는가, 유아가 쉽게 이해할만한 내용인가, 유아가 흥미를 느낄만한 내용인가, 유아의 발달에 도움을 주는가, 유아가 쉽게 부를 수 있는 선율인가, 장단이 단순하고 반복적인가'로 나타났다. 또한 선정기준이 확정됨에 따라 이 기준을 바탕으로 유아에게 적합한 전래동요 112곡이 선정되었다. 112곡의 노랫말은 주로 '놀이의 즐거움'을 표현한 곡들로 전래동요의 전승을 위해서는 놀이가 함께 연행되어야 함을 시사한다.

In modern society, the succession and development of tradition can be an enabler of the state in the flow of culture, and the process of modernizing traditional costumes is meaningful work. Neckties are essential in modern Korean men's wear, and they are an important part of men's ornamentation. Accordingly, this study aims to present a necktie design that applies the traditional men's ornaments such as the Ip, Ipyoung and Manggeonsik. The research method is based on a literature review and presents four Korean necktie designs via Adobe Illustrations. As a result of analyzing the beauty of the traditional Korean men's ornamentation, it was categorized into rhythmical beauty, emphasis beauty, and natural beauty. Applying this to necktie design, Design 1 imagined the silhouette of a man wearing a Got and Durumagi. This applied emphasis beauty. Design 2 applied the shaking images of Got and Got-kkeun to apply rhythmical and emphasis beauty. Design 3 applied a man's upper body silhouette and the shape of wearing a Got. This was to apply natural beauty and emphasis beauty. Design 4 applied the shape of Got-kkeun and Gwanja to rhythmical beauty and natural beauty. The significance of this study is that the development of necktie designs using formative Korean elements can be a part of efforts to recognize the possibility of traditional Korean culture and to explore developmental directions under the current situation in which Western clothing is accepted without thought. It is a good idea to suggest the possibility of the modern use of Korean men's ornaments.

이 연구는 서양음악 작곡가에 의한 창작국악작품을 분류 검토하여, 서양음악전공자들의 창작국악 작곡활동에 도움을 주고자 하는 목적으로 행해진 연구이다. 연구 결과, 기본적으로 서양음악 작곡가에 의한 창작국악은 서양의 전통적 작곡기법 또는 현대적 작곡기법의 바탕 위에 한국전통음악적인 요소가 활용되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 동기 주제 발전, 조성, 호모포니, 대위법적 전개, 푸가 형식, 소나타 형식, 바로크합주곡 형식, 서양예술작품의 선율 차용 등의 서양전통작곡기법이 사용되었고, 음색 선율, 음향 효과, 악기의 특수주법, 무조성, 변박과 폴리리듬, 불확정성 기법 등의 서양 현대음악 작곡기법이 사용되었다. 이와 함께 국악기 고유의 시김새, 국악장단, 국악의 음계와 선법, 국악의 형식, 국악 선율 등을 적용하여 한국적인 표현과 정체성을 반영하고 있다.

The purposes of this study are to develop a Korean image clothing design for cultural products by using the literary artist´s works and to satisfy the demand of the local self-government and of Gwangju ㆍChonnam area´s small and medium-sized companies. The image of traditional Korean clothing can be expressed with adjectives like Pure, plain, rhythmical, neatness, plentiful, and calm etc. These attributes are similar to the characteristics of the literary artist´s style, which is expressed as suggestive, animated, spatial, possibility of stationary, serene and still. The features of the traditional Korean clothing design can be described as ´The Beauty of Elegance´, ´The Beauty of Plainness´, ´The Beauty of Asymmetric Balance´ and ´The Beauty of rhythm´. It can be expressed in the modern fashion design, which is developed through the combination of the most important feature like ´The Beauty of Space´ in the literary artist´s style. At the time of production we tried to express spatial beauty and plentiful taste of the literary artist's style in the clothing design of Korean image for cultural products by considering the balance between them. Six works of the literary artist were selected which satisfied the purpose of the developed clothing design item. The results were nine clothing designs of Korean image, like a skirt suit made up of a blouse and a skirt, a pants suit made up of pants and a jacket, two evening dresses with a shawl, and also T-shirts and one-pieces etc.
