  • Domestic software market is struggling with product's low quality and low return-on-investment. The cause for the problems is due to unclear requirements at the early stage of software project. Studies show that, to lessen the problem, the requirements specification must reflect the right project scope and quantifiable quality goal. To achieve such features, this paper describes a standard guideline for SRS (Software Requirements Specification), which helps in defining the scope of project, measuring and quantifying quality, linking and tracing of requirements, and improving usability. The proposed SRS enables separating the requirements analysis activity from implementation activity and thus can improve subcontract management process in software project.

  • We live in the inundation of information. Information of telecommunication standardization is also overflowing. Accordingly it is not easy to search information front web sites scattered all over the world and to find information which we want to use from the result of searching. For instance, none the less most of standardization organization provides their own search facilities on specification, it is difficult to find specification without information about the specification such as number or title of that specification. In this paper, we introduce Standards Knowledge Management System(SKMS) which provide the easy way of finding information using knowledge map. The SKMS collects information from the standardization-related web sites and categorizes information according to keyword. And users can easily find information with the pre-defined knowledge map.

  • Germline stem cells (GSCs) are the best understood adult stem cell types in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans, and have provided an important model system for studying stem cells and their cell fate in vivo, in mammals. In this review, we propose a mechanism that controls GSCs and their cell fate through selective activation, repression and mobilization of the specific mRNAs. This mechanism is acutely controlled by known signal transduction pathways (e.g., Notch signaling and Ras-ERK MAPK signaling pathways) and P granule (analogous to mammalian germ granule)-associated mRNA regulators (FBF-1, FBF-2, GLD-1, GLD-2, GLD-3, RNP-8 and IFE-1). Importantly, all regulators are highly conserved in many multi-cellular animals. Therefore, GSCs from a simple animal may provide broad insight into vertebrate stem cells (e.g., hematopoietic stem cells) and their cell fate specification.

  • Recently the Government has classified the construction specifications into three types such as national standard specifications, owner's standard specifications and project specifications, by the revision of the Law of Construction Technology Management. And the Government provided that project owner shall use the project specifications that are written by excerption from, revision of, and supplement to the national standard specifications or the owner's standard specitications etc.. The present study suggests the writing way of national standard specifications, owner's standard specifications and project specifications in these situations.
