This study analyzed expressive effects of King Henry VIII's costumes in films based on DeLong's (1988) theory. Theoretical analysis was done through a literature research of previous studies from both domestic and international. Empirical research was used as a research tool for visual media such as , , and . An analysis on movie costumes indicated that King Henry VIII's costume almost matched DeLong's (1998) expressive effect on excitement, calmness, strength, and delicacy. King Henry VIII's costumes in films based on DeLong's (1988) theory expressed significant of strength and excitement in terms of expressive effects with some elegance. King Henry VIII's costumes had their expressive effects different according to the intentions of film productions, even for the identical event scenes with the same purpose. The findings of this study can be used as basic data for the research of design and costumes as well as the production of drama stages for historical dramas during King Henry VIII's reign.

The World Health Organization(WHO) has reported the sleep disturbance as one of the adverse effects of noise. And the effect of combined noise sources on human have been investigated because community noises are seldom heard and are concurrent. Therefore, the effects of combined noise source and its S/N ratio on sleep disturbance were investigated; as a single noise source, road traffic noise was selected, and construction and movie noise were combined with road traffic noise. Tests for sleep disturbance were conducted in bedrooms and the effect on each subjects' sleep was evaluated by questionnaire. The results showed that the rate of awakening increased slightly only when the SPL of construction noise was 10 dB higher than that of road traffic noise. It was also found that the sleep disturbance was affected by the type of combined noise sources and its S/N ratio.

We perform seismological diagnostics of the physical parameters in umbral photospheres and G-band bright points. The technique is based on the theory of slow magneto-acoustic waves in a non-isothermally stratified photosphere with uniform vertical magnetic fields. For the seismology of sunspot umbrae, we calculate the weighted frequency of three-minute oscillations observed by SDO/HMI continuum and use it to estimate the Alfvn speed and plasma-beta, which range 7.5-10.5 km/s and 0.65-1.15, respectively. We identify and track bright points in the G-band movie by using a 3D region growing method. Then we apply the seismological diagnostics to the bright points in the Hinode/BFI Blue continuum. We will present the Alfvn speed and plasma-beta in the bright points.

The purpose of this study was to explore the unfairness of adhesion contracts for internet contents service. The internet contents were classified into six types of avatar, learning, download, e-book and movie internet sites. The adhesion contracts of internet contents service were collected in 60 internet sites. The unfairness of the adhesion contract was reviewed under the adhesion contract regulation act. The major results were as follows. First, the obligation of clear statement, explanation, and delivery was not observed completely. Second, many articles of adhesion contract were unfair and they especially violated articles 7 and 9. Therefore, the standard adhesion contract system for internet content service should be enforced and self-regulation of information service providers is needed.

유비쿼터스 상거래에서 사용자가 정보를 효율적으로 이용할 수 있도록 제어하고 필터링하는 일을 도와주는 개인화된 추천 시스템이 등장하였다. 더 나아가서는 사용자가 원하는 아이템을 예측하고 추천해주며, 이를 위해 협력적 필터링 기술을 적용하고 있다. 이는 사용자의 성향에 맞는 아이템을 예측하고 추천하기 위하여 비슷한 선호도를 가지는 사용자들 간의 유사도 가중치를 계산한다. 본 논문에서는 속성정보에 대한 사용자의 선호도를 고려하지 않은 문제점을 개선하기 위해서 속성정보를 이용한 연관 사용자의 선호도를 협력적 필터링 기술에 반영함으로써 추천의 정확도를 높이고자 한다. 그리고 협력적 필터링의 {연관 사용자-아이템} 행렬에서 사용자들 간의 연관 관계를 유지하면서 차원 수를 감소시키기 위해 ARHP 알고리즘을 이용하여 연관 사용자 군집을 한다. 제안된 방법의 성능 평가를 하기 위해 사용자가 아이템에 대해서 평가한 MovieLens 데이터 집합을 대상으로 평가되었으며, 기존의 Nearest Neighbor Model과 K-Means 군집보다 그 성능이 우수함을 보인다.

주문형 비디오 시스템의 비용과 성능에 실제 영향을 미칠 수 있는 주요 설계 문제로서 실시간 디스크 스케쥴링, 버퍼 관리, 프리페칭, 영화 할당, 그리고 장치 대역폭 감소 등이 있다. 여기서 영화 할당은 영화 사본의 개수를 결정하고, 그리고 서버들에게 영화 사본들이 배치될 위치를 결정한다. 본 논문에서는, 인기도를 고려해서 영화 사본들이 디스크에 배치될 때 topic 별로 분리해서 각각의 topic 들을 서로 다른 서버에 배치시키는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 그리고 본 논문에서는 각 서버에 한 개의 영화를 저장할 수 있는 버퍼를 두어 가장 인기있는 비디오만 버퍼를 사용하는 버퍼관리 알고리즘을 제안한다.

Culture industry is appearing as an important sector of economy. Many kinds of culture industry like movie, music, drama, animation and game are creating enormous wealth all over the world. Fashion is a kind of culture industry too and even sometimes treated as art. Korean fashion is not treated as real culture but still as a part of textile industry. Internationally Korean fashion has not yet much to show, and despite of it's potential it does not attract much interest from other countries. In this paper properties and effects of mulberry handmade paper clothes were investigated with five clothes made of it. In making handmade mulberry paper clothes various techniques could be applied and these techniques could bring new effects. Because mulberry handmade paper does not have little flexibility than ordinary texture, much efforts should be put to the detail works. Handmade mulberry paper clothes have enormous potential as art, because various approach could be applied.

For displaying multivariate numerical data on a 2D plane by the projection, principal components biplot and the GGobi are two main tools of data visualization. The biplot is very useful for capturing the global shape of the dataset, by representing $n$ observations and $p$ variables simultaneously on a single graph. The GGobi shows a dynamic movie of the images of $n$ observations projected onto a sequence of unit vectors floating on the $p$-dimensional sphere. Even though these two methods are certainly very valuable, there are drawbacks. The biplot is too condensed to describe the detailed parts of the data, and the GGobi is too burdensome for ordinary data analyses. In this paper, "the local projective display(LPD)" is proposed for visualizing multivariate numerical data. Main steps of the LDP are 1) $k$-means clustering of the data into $k$ subsets, 2) drawing $k$ principal components biplots of individual subsets, and 3) sequencing $k$ plots by Hurley's (2004) endlink algorithm for cognitive continuity.

DVD(Digital Versatile Disk) is the data storage media devised to make high storage density and high speed data input/output possible. For example, a whole length movie can be stored in a disk as large as a CD(Compact Disk). Therefore higher rotational speed and better accuracy in optical pick-up are required compared with the existing optical storage device. Without these operational functional requirements being satisfied DVD will lose its place as the high capacity storage device. This paper evaluated whether the currently developed DVD satisfies the requirements and provides improved methods with the Axiomatic Approach which is superb in evaluating and designing newly concepted designs.

다중 값이란 속성 값이 집합인 것을 말한다. 즉, 관계형 데이터베이스에서 자료 유형이 집합인 속성을 의미한다. 이러한 다중 값 속성 처리는 기존 데이터마이닝 기술 자체로는 처리한 수 없으며 후처리나 선처리 과정을 이용하여 처리하고 있다. 전처리나 후처리 과정을 통해 처리할 경우 수행과장에 있어 많은 시간이 소요되고 혹은 타당하지 않은 규칙이 생성되는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 특히 연관화 기법 특성상 분석하고자 할 항목이 증가할수록 연관성의 수가 지수(exponential)단위이기 때문에 이를 해결하는데는 상당한 어려움이 따르게 된다. 본 논문에서는 관계형 데이터베이스 테이블 구조에서 데이터 마이닝의 수행을 위한 전처리나 후처리의 과정을 고려하지 않음으로 위에서 언급된 문제점들을 해결하고자 한다. 특히 데이터 변환 작업 없이 정량적(Quantitative)연관 규칙과 연관 규칙(Market Basket Analysis)의 혼합 형태의 규칙을 생성할 수 있게끔 알고리즘을 확장하여 보다 효율적인 규칙이 생성될 수 있도록 한다. 마지막으로 Each Movie 데이터를 사용하여 확장한 알고리즘의 다중 값 속성 처리 방법의 효율성과 타탕성을 검증한다.
