Recently, active movements are occurring to reestablish our own traditional Korean images in all levels of society. One of them is about Ordinary Hanbok. Academics and business sectors are endeavoring to develop comfortable and Korean traditional Hanbok designs and popularize them as well. Based on the facts, the study focuses on developing Ordinary Hanbok designs for women by applying Korean traditional patchwork in order to present handmade, humane senses. First of all, the backgrounds, history and preference of Ordinary Hanbok are discussed through literatures and precedent studies as study methodology. Then, the study is analyzing the formative beauty of Korean traditional patchwork that contains emotions of women in the Chosun Dynasty. After that, it shows Ordinary Hanbok designs developed for women by using checks, free style, and yeoiju patterns of the fabrics dyed with clay and Chinese ink that recently attract people in particular. The results are like followings; First, the limits that excessive transformation of Hanbok may cause the lack of traditional beauty can be covered through using a variety of images of Korean traditional patchwork. Second, diverse face configuration of patchworks has very unique geometric forms so to be easily applied to modern Ordinary Hanbok designs. Third, the sewing technique of patchworks also plays a role as a design factor as important as face configuration. Fourth, utilizing fabric pieces may result in various unplanned face configuration and help resource recycling. Fifth, it is possible to coordinate Hanbok with other ordinary clothes that people normally wear on. Sixth, using patchworks images can encourage developing more active and refined designs added with traditional beauty. Seventh, natural dying and fabrics are eco-friendly, which is good for human health and environment. Finally, more studies should be done on design development based on precedent studies about Ordinary Hanbok. Also, it is important to foster social atmosphere and circumstances where people accept wearing Ordinary Hanbok as our natural culture.

Movies are not only for projecting graphical contents but also for Kansei evaluation that stimulate human beings' sense and emotion in real time. Also, when one views movies or moving images with stories, including movies and dramas, the audience would often be sympathized through various factors of movies, such as performances of actors/actress, graphics, and music, are moved to tears and feel fear. Especially, emotional movement is different from impression and brought about as a result of responding to joy, which is one of the basic emotions of human beings. Moreover, it is suggested that emotion is the most positive aesthetic measurement toward objects. In this study, focusing on emotional movement that is one of many aesthetic reactions in human beings' watching movies, we developed an interface for measuring of emotional changes. The goal of this study is to apply the output of our quantitative analysis on the results of the measurements to the effective designing and production of movies.

In "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)", the name of blood vessels is closely related to images of the river, and the word for blood vessel contains the following meaning, such as blood vessel, blood wind as well as blood stasis and so on. In a physiological perspective, the unobstructed blood vessel and normal operation blood are important symbols of health, for blood is the basis for human survival, physical activity and mental activity. In pathology, the external cold, excessive seven emotions and a biased diet can cause many kinds of abnormalities of the blood vessels, which can in turn become causes for a variety of diseases. The theory of blood vessels in "Hwangjenaegyeong" can provide guidance for diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in practice.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to examine the effects of Emotion Freedom Techniques (EFT) group treatment program for Hwa-byung patients. Methods: Thirteen Hwa-byung patients have participated in the four weeks program of EFT group treatment and the program was executed once a week, for about one hour. After every session, the participants performed EFT by themselves in order to control their symptoms. Four weeks after the program ended, we interviewed the participants by using the semi-structured interview method to observe changes of Hwa-byung. All the data collected was summarized through the qualitative analysis method. Results: Results showed effects of the EFT group treatment program, with regards to the physical, cognitive and emotional aspects. Most of the participants experienced reliefs of Hwa-byung symptoms like chest tightness, hot flashes, insomnia and so on. Their ability to cope with stress improved and their re-experiences of past memories decreased. And their distorted self-images were also restored. Lastly, there was a decrease in negative emotions and an increase in positive emotions experienced by the participants. The participants could control their symptoms by performing self-enforcement. In addition, regarding the form of group therapy, the treatment was effective as it helped the participants to feel solidarity and social support. Conclusions: The EFT group treatment program can relieve the physical, cognitive and emotional symptoms of Hwa-byung. This program can be applied to the psychotherapy of Hwa-byung.

In this paper, we propose an emotion recognition method using the facial images and speech signals. Six basic emotions including happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, fear and dislike are investigated. Facia] expression recognition is performed by using the multi-resolution analysis based on the discrete wavelet. Here, we obtain the feature vectors through the ICA(Independent Component Analysis). On the other hand, the emotion recognition from the speech signal method has a structure of performing the recognition algorithm independently for each wavelet subband and the final recognition is obtained from the multi-decision making scheme. After merging the facial and speech emotion recognition results, we obtained better performance than previous ones.

In recent, the marketing competitions that stimulates the emotions of consumers are intensifying in the domestic construction industry due to the increase of unsold new apartments. However, there is a need for brand identity establishment through which more differentiated information can be delivered to the consumers, as each brand is focusing only on idealistic image advertisements of dream, future and happiness. Accordingly in this study, the top five brand apartments according to the national brand value evaluation index (BSTI, BrandStock Top Index) were selected and analyzed their TV advertisement characteristics, and its purpose is in evaluating the brand images perceived by the consumers of their TV advertisements. The significance of the results from this study is in presenting the basic information for establishing effective communication between the corporations and consumers. The survey research of this study was conducted for the students of D University, and SPSS 14.0 program was used for the statistical data analysis.

The purpose of this study was to compare college students' emoticon use for positive behavior and to analyze the impact of the factors. This study is consisted of 66 questions based on Social demographic characteristics, personality characteristics factors and both scales of emotional expression. The operational test was administered to 340 college students. In an effort to calibrate emoticon use of positive behavior, the results displayed significance differences depending on the gender and grade of the students. Women used more emoticons than men, and freshman used more emoticons than any other year of students. Women used more emoticons such as texts, images, and flash more than men. Students in their freshman year were shown to use more emoticons than students in other grade levels. Emotional expression was strongly related man with personality traits of integrity. Personality traits of sensitivity, openness, intimacy, and sincerity had a significant influence on the emotional expression. An emoticon is, therefore, be a useful tool to express their emotions. Male and female students with higher levels of congeniality had expressed more emotions that were self-defence ambivalent and concerned-relation ambivalent. However, in the case of the female students, those with higher levels of self-defence ambivalent emotional expressiveness had a lower usage of positive emoticons, while male students with higher levels of self-defence emotional expressiveness used more positive emoticons. Higher levels of congeniality among groups that use mobile emoticons with their parents, whether the frequency of use was high or low, were associated with higher levels of self-defence ambivalence and concerned-relation ambivalence. Those with higher levels of sincerity had low levels of self-defence ambivalence and concerned-relation ambivalence, and those with higher levels of concerned-relation ambivalence had higher levels of positive emoticon usage.

시각 정보 중 색채는 인간의 감성을 일으키는 중요한 요소이다. 그러므로 감성을 유발하거나 예측하기 위해서 색의 효과를 확인하는 것은 중요하다. 본 연구는 색채에 따른 감성의 차이를 확인하고자 색채 자극에 따른 심혈관 반응을 측정하였다. 색채 자극은 Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Mangenta, Yellow의 6가지 색상으로 구성된 이미지들을 사용하였다. 실험에 참여한 대학생 26명(남자 13명)은 Electrocardiogram (ECG) 센서를 착용하고 모니터에 제시된 각 자극을 본 후 주관감성을 평가하였다. 색채 자극에 따른 심혈관 반응 데이터는 Kruskal-wallis 검정과 Mann-Whitney 검정을 수행하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 Coherence ratio가 Green과 Magenta (p=.004), Red (p=.006), Yellow (p=.004) 색상에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 색상에 따른 유효한 심혈관 반응 변수와 감성의 차이를 확인하였으며 이러한 차이는 쾌-불쾌의 감성과 관련이 있었다. 본 연구는 녹색이 쾌의 감성을 유발하고 적색이 불쾌의 감성을 유발할 수 있음을 보인 실증적인 연구로써 의의가 있다.

K-pop stars are an important influence in the era of digital culture based on emotions. The purpose of this study is to visually express the identity and worldview of their music in the virtual and real world, and to promote Korea's current and past culture. The study also intends to appeal to the emotions of the global fans by designing original textile in their music video 'IDOL' on Tiny TAN - a symbol of world pop star BTS. For design development, traditional Korean images shown in the 'IDOL' video were collected, patterns for each member were selected, and a motif was designed on Adobe Illustrator. We selected the dragon as the motif for V, cloud for Suga, chrysanthemums for Jin, mask for Jung Kook, hanok pavilion for RM, fan for Jimin, and Sam Taegeuk for J-Hope. The selected motifs were designed as per the four textile design arrangement methods: square pattern, 1/2 half drop pattern, turn-around pattern, and panel pattern. The design was presented by mapping Kwaeja to Tiny TAN character. The developed textile design can be used not only for character costumes in virtual space, but also for various products such as clothes, accessories, bedding, cosmetics, stationery, and food. By using it to produce goods inspired by K-pop stars, it can be used as basic data for the development of high value-added competitive products in the global market and create synergy effects of K-Design, which would lead a new trend in the design world.

이 논문은 현대시조사에서 박재삼 시조의 위치와 중요성을 확인하기 위하여 쓰여졌다. 박재삼은 '형식미와 내용미의 행복한 일치'를 그 시조 창작의 지향점으로 삼아 시조 쓰기를 진행해 왔다. 박재삼은 이를 위해 여러 시도를 했을 것으로 추정된다. 이 글이 주목하는 부분이 바로 그 점이다. 이 글에서는 박재삼 시조 창작방법론의 키워드라 판단되는 이미지의 구현방식과 의미화 과정을, 한의 정서와 영원성의 결합, 양가성의 정서를 통한 초월, 병렬 형식의 은유로 이루어진 언술구조로 나누어 살펴보았다. 이미지 구현방식과 의미화 과정에서 드러나는 박재삼 시조 미학의 차별성의 첫 번째 특징은 한의 정서와 우주적 무한과 시간적 영원을 본질로 하는 범주인 '영원성'이 결합하는 양상이다. 그동안 박재삼의 시조에서 이 영원성의 문제는 간과된 측면이 있다. 이 영원성은 사랑하는 사람과의 이루지 못한 사랑의 한으로 인해 나타난다. 진정한 사랑을 위해 또 다른 세계, 즉 '저승'이라는 공간과의 소통을 시도하며, 슬픔에서 생산된 아름다운 가치인 '한'이 영원성과 결합됨으로써 자아의 정체성을 찾고 죽음에 대한 두려움을 이겨낼 수 있다. 이 영원성은 상당히 내면화되어 있으며 변신 모티브 역시 쉽게 찾을 수 없을 정도로 시의 구조 안에 내밀하게 설정되어 있다. 이런 이미지 구성방식이 그동안 논자들로 하여금 시조에서 영원성을 언급하지 못한 요인이 되었지만, 이 점이 박재삼의 시조가 한국 시조에서 새로운 의미를 가지는 부분이다. 두 번째 특징은 상반되는 이미지를 병치하고 통합함으로써 초월에 이르는 의미화 방식이다. 박재삼은 어떤 정서가 단일한 이미지로 환원되는 것을 거절하는 전략을 가지고 시작에 임했다. 그의 시의 밑바탕을 이루는 한의 정서 자체가 삶의 기본적인 구조를 내포하며 인생과 자연의 온갖 바람을 담고 있는 본질적 요소이다. 이 양가적 정서는 한 시 안에서 존재해도 어긋나지 않는다. 이 의식의 근저에는 삶에 대한 너그러운 인식과 세상사에 대해 거리를 두고 관조하는 삶의 자세가 깔려 있다. 미학적 측면으로 드러나는 이런 양가적 감정은 인생관, 세계관으로까지 확산된다. 그의 시에 드러나는 정서가 복합적이라는 것이 다른 서정 시인들과의 또 하나의 차별성이다. 그 결과 이런 양가성의 인식과 종합이라는 시학을 만들어낸 것이다. 이미지 구현방식과 의미화 과정의 세 번째 특징은 언술구조가 은유구조 즉, 원관념과 보조관념의 병렬 형태로 연결되어 시의 전개에 관여한다는 점이다. 이는 주로 "내 사랑은"이라는 시의 '울음'의 미학을 그려내는 이미지가 어떻게 구현되어 있으며, 그것은 어떻게 의미화에 기여하고 있는가를 고찰하는 과정에서 도출되었다. 원관념과 보조관념의 병렬형식의 이런 언술구조는 특별한 주목을 요한다. 무엇보다 직유가 사용되지 않고 예측하지 못하는 은유로 된 언술구조가 의미작용을 일으키며 시가 진행되기 때문이다. 박재삼의 토속적 서정이 체질적인 것인 동시에 그 바탕에는 민족정서와 긴밀히 결부되어 있고, 그 호흡도 의식적이든 무의식적이든 전통적 호흡을 바탕으로 하고 있기에 이는 앞으로 더 깊은 고찰을 요한다. 박재삼은 현대시조사에서 순정하고 서정적인 시인으로서 한국 전통의 정서와 특징을 자신의 창작방법론에 담아냄으로써 여타 시인들과 차별화된 가치 있는 시인으로 평가된다.
