Bamboo is a plant belonging to the Gramineae family, and can be used as valuable bioresources for many industrial applications. Bamboo has some useful properties and having a lot of beneficial uses such as a bamboo ware, agriculture material, building construction material, pulpwood, etc. Bamboo stem has a large amount of active ingredients that those of bamboo leaves. The stem of bamboo can be processed into various biomaterials including cellulose and lignin, and sometimes uses as foods, cosmetics and medicines using stem extracts with polyphenol compounds. For cosmetic applications of bamboo stems, especially, the constituents of bamboo stem are suitable for inner beauty (cosmetic food) products showing antioxidant and UV-protecting activities. This review summaries the recent literature data and discusses the versatile uses of bamboo stem and its extracts mainly for cosmetic application.

본 연구는 K-뷰티 브랜드의 사회적 책임활동이 가치를 통해 구매의도에 주는 영향을 한·중 소비자 데이터를 이용해 비교연구를 진행하고자 하였다. 가정한 관계를 검증하기 위해, 한·중 소비자를 대상으로 총 480부를 수집하고 SPSS 27과 LISREL 8.8을 이용해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 경제적 책임활동이 효율적 가치에 주는 영향, 윤리적 책임활동이 사회·윤리적 가치가 주는 영향이 한·중 소비자 모두에서 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 효율적 가치와 사회·윤리적 가치가 구매의도에 주는 영향 역시 한·중 소비자 모두에서 강한 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 경로계수의 차이를 검증한 결과, 사회·윤리적 가치가 구매의도에 주는 영향이 한국보다 중국 소비자에서 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 K-뷰티 브랜드의 사회적 책임활동에 대한 이론을 확장하고 있으며, 중국에서 활동하고 있는 K-뷰티 브랜드에 대한 실무적 활용점을 제공하고 있다. 차후 다른 사회적 책임활동의 영향에 대한 비교 연구가 진행된다면 더 나은 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this to study was to find out relationships between the Make-up and the Humanbeing's Eroticism. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The Make-up is the sexual display for the tribes propagation and maintain and is derived from the eroticism to seduce the opposite sex. 2. The red color of Yeonji make-up makes a great contribution to sexual sensibility and is effective to attain the solemn and original desire.

Colour tone, lustre, surface roughness of fabrics are very important factors in pursue of the beauty of external appearance, namely aesthetic appearance, and the dynamic functionality of fabric used to clothe the human body. Drape is one of many factors that influence the aesthetic appearance of fabric and has an outstanding effect on the formal beauty of fabric. For this reason, the measurement and understanding of drape is required to specify the performance of fabric used in clothing. (omitted)

Art theorists support art productions by, introducing them to the public, explaining their meanings, and playing a crucial part in the development of art. These tasks seem like their opus. Because the principles of art production and the artistic languages are quite different from the ordinaries, we need 'interpreters' who can mediate us and the artists. Art works need interpretation. And the interpretation includes not only the characteristics of the given art work, but the customs, history, and the unique qualities of the race that produced the art work. The former director of the Korean National Museum, Choi Soon-woo wrote on the characteristics of Korean art as those that stem from the poised, arbitrary, and non-elaborate state of mind. The statement of the former Director of the National Museum has its weight far greater than just a personal opinion. In fact, we encounter the same resonance of this statement over and over reproduced in the mass media. The problem lies on that it deals with not only a single art work, but the entire Korean art. And going further, this kind of remarks are already infused into every sector of our thought on art appreciation. In this paper, I argue for a re-reading of the characteristics of Korean beauty based on two reasons. First, the characteristic of art work is contemporary, thus we cannot define the characteristics of entire Korean art in a few words without the context of the period of its making. Second, Director Choi defined the characteristics that I pointed out above as 'natural' and 'nature-friendly.' Nature or being natural is not an usual word that defines the characteristics of art work, which stands for the opposite side of the nature in the binary opposition of nature/culture. To delve into these misunderstandings of Korean beauty in the popular notions of Korean art, I suggest the re-reading of three major articles on Korean art: Ryoo Jong-yeol's "Korean race and its art," Ko You-seup's reiteration of Ryoo's thesis called "Discourses in Korean Art History and Aesthetics," and Yoon Hee-soon's antithesis of Ryoo Jong-yeol titiled "Studies on Korean Art History."

국내산 머스크멜론의 품종(Thankyou, Beauty, Picnic과 Sympony) 차이에 따른 $7^{\circ}C$ 저장 중 품질 변화를 조사하였다. Thankyou, Beauty, Sympony 품종은 28일, Picnic 품종은 21일까지 저장 실험이 가능하였다. 저장 초기 무기질 함량이 308.6 mg%이었던 Thankyou 품종의 경우에는 저장중 함량이 약 2.36%만 감소하였던 반면, Sympony와 Picnic 품종은 각각 28.53, 26.35%의 큰 감소를 보였다. 또한 초기 유리당 함량이 높았던 품종은 Thankyou와 Picnic 품종으로 13.3%이었으며, 다음으로 Sympony(9.8%), Beauty(8.0%)순이었으며, Thankyou 품종은 저장 28일후에도 12.8%의 가장 높은 유리당 함량을 유지하였다. Vitamin C 함량은 Sympony 품종이 26.0 mg/100 g으로 가장 높았으며, Picnic (21.36 mg), Beauty(20.53 mg), Thankyou(16.89 mg) 품종 순이었지만, 저장 14일 이후에는 11.5~12.5 mg%으로 품종간의 차이를 보이지 않았다. 호흡률은 저장 중 변화가 가장 크게 나타났던 Picnic 품종이 다른 품종들에 비하여 저장성이 떨어졌다. 관능검사에서도 Thankyou 품종의 기호도가 가장 뛰어났지만 꼭지의 수분손실은 저장 중 다른 품종들에 비하여 큰 것으로 나타남에 따라, Thankyou 품종의 머스크멜론 유통 시 꼭지 수분손실을 최소화할 수 있는 추가 연구가 필요하다.

In this study the features expressed by the Korean dresses and its ornaments have been examined through the objects of this thesis, the concept of the pair, under the basis of Korean myths, from which esthetic and spiritual values have been derived. At first, the beauty of the balance pursuing the neatness. Since the pair is made with two piecess, at the time of the placement, the sense of the balance is obtained by the arrangement acccording to the dichotomous principle such as up and down or left and right. Sometimes, the pair could yield the natural pictorial composition, but almost of the time symmetrical composition. This kind of composition is made symmetrical like the structure of the human body, and it is resulted in a neat beauty, which visually presents a harmony, stability and intimacy. At second, the beauty of the harmony in the spirit of the oneness. From the dualistic combination basing on Korean myths, the common features and the significance of the co-existence, obtained from the combination of the pair of the pieces, could be found. By the oneness of the both elements, the creation principle, which is the basic one for a new life, could be established, and the mystery of the creation and the sense of the harmony could be found in it. At third, the wholeness of the completeness concept. The completeness could be felt rather by two than by one, and is provided with a room to be filled with the other one. Consequently, the outer dress is completed with the under dress, and its own beauty could only be made out when the two elements are harmonized. So, it is called as the pair. Like this, the concept about the pair taken roots in the ground of Korean emotions, is basing on the creation principle of the dualistic elements formed from the tradition of Korean myths, and the fact that the mental meaning pursuing the harmony dwells in Korean dress and its ornaments could be confirmed.

The purpose of this study was to research into TV makeup types focusing on Korean aesthetics with recognizing importance of Korean thought amid what the global interest pays attention to South Korea thanks to the recent influence of Hanryu(Korean wave). The following are summary and result of this study. The non-dual beauty is an integrative concept of including ambivalence on the categorical difference in sex, culture and class by transcending the extreme binary division. As this is what reflected the open thought of pursuing balance of yin and yang in Korean people, it is being shown in the form of transcendence and far-outness through TV entertainment programs. Transcendence coexisted with maintaining relative relationship beyond separation in sex. Far-outness was pursuing free sensitivity immanent in the non-separated thought of transcending the past, the present and future. This trend is being indicated similarly to a change in its paradigm from separation to convergence these days. Accordingly, even makeup was showing similarity to the recent trend with being paid attention to the makeup of focusing on identity in sex and to the makeup of being coexisted the past, the present and future with the aspect of being mixed space time. The Korean aesthetics has been feeble in its influence compared to the Oriental image of focusing on China and Japan in the meantime. Hence, this study can be said to have significance in a sense of being the first consideration that compared TV makeup types of focusing on Korean aesthetics and suggested its developmental direction.

본 연구는 최근 중국 뷰티 시장 내 마스크팩 판매율 10위권내를 차지하고 있는 한국 마스크팩에 대한 중국인들의 인식, 선택속성, 만족도를 조사하여 향 후 한국 마스크팩의 국외 시장 진출을 위한 마케팅 자료를 제공 하고자 하였다. 연구결과 한류에 대한 인식정도, 특히 연예 음악 선호는 한국 마스크팩 선택속성에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(${\beta}=.323$, p<.05). 또 만족도, 재구매 의도 모두 한류의 영향이 매우 크게 작용한 것으로 나타났고 중국여성들의 소비증가와 사회진출로 인한 외모관리도 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 아직 한국 상품의 안전성과 효능에 대한 신뢰가 확립되지 못하고 있어 향 후 이러한 기술 부분의 개선과 국내 화장품 회사들의 구체적인 대안이 마련된다면 우리나라 K-뷰티 산업은 중국뿐 아니라 국내외 시장에서 더욱 활성화 될 것으로 판단된다.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to analyze the treatment mechanism of Thread-embedding acupuncture, which is used in Korean medicine beauty treatment. Methods : After searching papers published up to January 1, 2023 using the keyword "Thread-embedding" through the OASIS site, we selected beauty papers that mentioned the treatment mechanism of Thread-embedding acupuncture. Results : A total of 60 papers were retrieved: 19 papers on the topic of cosmetic diseases, 35 papers on the theme of other diseases, and 6 papers written unrelated to diseases. Among the 19 papers on the topic of cosmetic diseases, one unreadable paper was excluded. Among the 18 papers, we finally selected 6 papers that mentioned treatment mechanisms: 2 on facial wrinkles, 2 on obesity, 1 on breast enlargement, and 1 on transdermal hydration. The treatment mechanism of Thread-embedding acupuncture is that in the case of facial wrinkles, polydioxanone(PDO) is embedded to fill the volume, and as it decomposes, it causes a tissue reaction around the area. In obesity, it promotes fat decomposition by improving circulation, and promotes breast enlargement and elasticity through collagen formation. In transdermal hydration, it induces the production of surrounding fibers to increase skin elasticity and moisture. Conclusions : Thread-embedding acupuncture appears to have a cosmetic effect through a mechanism that promotes the production of collagen and elastic fibers in the subepidermal dermal layer and increases the activity of skin moisturizing factors during the absorption process after the PDO suture is embedded.
