A small power reactor core of 108 MW$\_$th/ was designed with some design constraints: 2 year refueling cycle length, soluble boron free operation, low power density, and proven fuel assembly design - Uljin 3'||'&'||'4 design specifications. CASMO-3 and KINS-3 was used to evaluate operational capability for power level control via control rods. Cycle length, power peaking factor, M.T.C., and power coefficients were also checked. Designed core loaded with KOFAs satisfied all design goals. We found that much more burnable poisons are to be loaded with axial enrichment zoning. Control rod assemblies should be located at every other assemblies with more than 3 banks. Additional shutdown banks are proposed for the safe plant cooldown, which could be located at core periphery.

Eight 300kJ modularized capacitor-banks have been constructed. These modules have been installed and assembled to make a 2.4MJ pulse power system (PPS). This 2.4MJ PPS was developed to be used as a driver of an electrothermal-chemical (ETC) gun. Each capacitor bank has six 22kV, 50kJ capacitors connected in parallel. A triggered vacuum switch (TVS-43) was adopted as a main pulse power-closing switch in each module. The module also contains a crowbar circuit made of three high-voltage diode-stacks, a multi-tap inductor and an energy-dumping resistor. Various current shapes have been formed by a sequential firing of multiple capacitor banks. Resistive dummy load has been used and various combinations of experimental parameters, such as charging voltage, trigger time and inductance, were tested to make flexible current shapes.

Due to expected wide spread use of DCT based image/video coding standard, it is advantageous to process data directly in the DCT domain rather than decoding the source back to the spatial domain. The block processing algorithm provides a parallel processing method since multiple input data are processed in the block filter structure. Hence a fast implementation of the algorithm is well suited. In this paper, we propose the JPEG browse by Block Transform Domain Filtering(BTDF) using subband filter banks. Instead of decompressing the entire image to retrieve at full resolution from compressed format, a user can select the level of expansion required$(2^N{\times}2^N)$. Also this approach reduces the computer cpu time by reducing the number of multiplication through BTDF in the filter banks.

One of the important issues facing current letter of credit practice is the effect of nondocumetary conditions. A nondocumentary condition is a condition contained in the credit without stating the document to be presented in compliance therewith, so nondocumentary condition must be ascertained by reference to factual matters rather than by review of a tendered document. This study attempts to examine the regulations in UCP, ISP98 and UCC on the nondocumetary conditions and the opinions on the effect of nondocumetary conditions and to analyze various cases on the effect of nondocumetary conditions. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, UCP, ISP98 and UCC stipulate that banks will deem nondocumetary conditions as not stated and will disregard then So the legal standards for nondocumetary conditions have established. Secondly, courts used to permit the effect of nondocumetary conditions on the basis of the Wichita rule, party autonomy. Thirdly, issuing banks and applicants should not attempt to put in any nondocumetary conditions in order to prevent disputes on the effect of nondocumetary conditions.

For the $Y-Y-{\Delta}$ transformers operated in parallel, there exist two kinds of the circulating currents i.e. between the tanks and between the banks of the delta side. The proposed algorithm estimates the two circulating currents in the transformers in parallel in an ultra high voltage system. As the circulating current between the tanks is 90 deg out of phase of the load current, it is estimated by decomposing the line current into the component 90 deg out of phase of the load current. The circulating current between the banks in the delta side is estimated from the delta winding current and the line currents. The performance of the proposed algorithm is investigated when the impedances of the two transformer tanks are different or the taps of the on-load tap changer of the transformers are mismatched temporarily. Test results indicate that the algorithm can estimate the two kinds of the circulating currents successfully for both cases.

Trade finance services have been played an important role in the Korea trade development history since 1960's. These days the trade environment is confronted by the 4th Industrial revolution and new trade protectionism. So we need to improve the Korea Trade Finance Services in order to improve Korea trade volume. Bank of Korea(BOK) also revised the Rule of Korea Trade Finance in 2014 and enlarged the trade fund for commercial banks where they handle the trade finance to small and medium enterprises(SME) in 2016. This article handle the current state and problems of Korea trade finance services and suggest the improvement measures as follows; First, the commercial banks, which handle trade finance fund, should improve the customs and practice of judge loan for SMEs. Second, the export volume counting rule for trade loan should harmonize between BOK's Rule and Foreign Trade Management Regulation under the Foreign Trade Act. Third, the processing trade and intermediate trade also can use the trade finance like other trade. Fourth, Trade finance should be in balance between export and import finance to defend the new protectionism. It means that the trade finance should expand to import in the certain conditions. Lastly, the related trade promotion agencies and their employees should improve their skills and abilities for handling trade finance.

This paper presents a numerical simulation of the behavior of the LiBr solution droplets and falling films in horizontal tube banks of absorber. The model developed here accounts for the details of the droplets formation and impact process for absorption on horizontal tubes including the heat transfer from solution film to the tube wall. Especially. the characteristic of unsteady behavior of solution flow has been investigated. Flow visualization studies shown that the solution droplets and falling films have some of the complex characteristics. It is found that. with the numerical conditions similar to the operating condition of an actual absorption chiller/heater, the outlet solution temperature and heat flux from solution film to the tube wall have a stable periodic behavior with time. The solution droplets and falling films in horizontal tube banks of absorber is a periodic unsteady flow. The results from this model are compared with previous experimental observation taken with a high-speed digital video camera and shown good agreement.

The technique of GIS has been used in diverse applications. This study analyzed with the use of GIS technique how the branch-banks of Taegu undergone locational changes. Locational changes of the branch-banks in a city have great significance in such disciplines as urban geography and urban planning. The location of the blanch-bank plays a major role in the urban study to represent the flow of layer-by and producer under the commodity economy and find spatially out the shift of the economy gravity of urban center. But there have difficulties in the difficulties research on locational changes of the branch-bank with traditional map overlay techniques. The technique of GIS allowed to overcome there difficulties beyond the limits of traditional research methods.

This paper intends to study some problems in the application of UCP 600 in the international trade transactions with China. Generally speaking, China complies with UCP 600 well. Nevertheless, there are some problems in the application of UCP 600 in China owing to the difference in law and practices. There are some problems in the application of UCP 600 in China owing to the difference of practices under Bills of Exchange Act and The Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Some Issues Concerning the Trial of Cases of Disputes over Letter of Credit. The Act insists on the formal requirements, the consistency between a letter amount and a figure amount, the unconditional payment character of bills of exchange. The Provisions include the recognition of revocable credits, the difference of standard in examining documents, the difference in the treatment of issuing banks in relation to discrepant documents. These aforesaid matters of the Act and the Provisions are inconsistent with the practices under the UCP 600. There are two main problems in the operation of letters of credit in China. One is the lack of concerned parties' practice knowledge in relation to letters of credit in China. The other is the inactive stance of nominated banks in China. There are two main problems in relation to judiciary institutions in China. First, judges in China tend to abuse the injunctions owing to the lack of understanding in relation to letters of credit. Secondly, there are inconsistency in the court ruling in China.
