This study aims to describe the general patterns of Korean research in Arts and Kinesiology, particularly from the perspective of authorship. Among the 12 sub-areas of Arts and Kinesiology indexed in the Korean Citation Index (KCI), journals in three sub-areas, "Arts," "Design," and "Kinesiology" have the longest publishing histories and produced the largest volume of articles. 68 journals in the "Arts," "Design," and "Kinesiology" sub-areas were accredited in the KCI between 2001 and 2019; 40,955 articles which were published in the journals between the years of accreditation and the end of 2019 serve as the context of this article. Authorship, affiliated institutions and countries, openness to new authors, top researchers, topological properties of authorship networks, overall research performance by authors, and co-authorship patterns were analyzed and compared among three sub-subjects.

본 논문에서는 국내 학술지 평가 체계 중, 과학기술 학술지 평가인 과학기술단체총연합회(이하 과총) 학술지 평가 요소에 대해 고찰하고, 평가 요소 중 정보화 요소 항목에 대한 개선사항을 제안한다. 저자가 제안하는 과총 학술지 평가 정보화 요소 개선사항은 국내 과학기술 연구자들의 노력에 따른 연구결과물을 더욱 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 하고, 인용확대를 더욱 활성화 할 수 있도록 하여, 학술지 위상제고에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 국내 학술지가 갖추어야 할 학술정보 본문 편집 규정과 그에 따른 국내 학술지 평가 항목 중 연구자 식별정보인 ORCID, 논문 이력정보 등의 정보화 요소를 살펴보고, KISTI의 DOI 등록관리시스템과 코리아사이언스에 반영한 사례를 제시하면서 결론을 도출한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine Korean journals related to science education in order to analyze research trends into Nature of science in Korea. The subject of the study is the level of Korean Citation Index (KCI-listed, KCI listing candidates), that can be searched by the key phrase, "Nature of science" in Korean language through the RISS service. In this study, the Descriptive Statistical Analysis Method is utilized to discover the number of research articles, classifying them by year and by journal. Also, the Sementic Network Analysis was conducted to Word Cloud Analysis the frequency of key words, Centrality Analysis, co-occurrence and Cluster Dendrogram Analysis throughout a variety of research articles. The results show that 91 research papers were published in 25 journals from 1991 to 2015. Specifically, the 2 major journals published more than 50% of the total papers. In relation to research fields., In addition, key phrases, such as 'Analysis', 'recognition', 'lessons', 'science textbook', 'History of Science' and 'influence' are the most frequently used among the research studies. Finally, there are small language networks that appear concurrently as below: [Nature of science - high school student - recognize], [Explicit - lesson - effect], [elementary school - science textbook - analysis]. Research topic have been gradually diversified. However, many studies still put their focus on analysis and research aspects, and there have been little research on the Teaching and learning methods.

해충은 잔디재배지나 운동장이나 공원, 골프장, 공항 등의 잔디에 피해를 주는 주요 원인의 하나이다. 우리나라에서 잔디해충에 관한 연구는 다른 작물분야에 비하여 적고, 역사도 짧다. 본 총설은 우리나라에서 잔디해충분야에 대한 연구들이 발표 된 한국연구재단 등재후보지 이상의 학술논문들을 대상으로 조사하였다. 현재까지 52편의 잔디해충 분야 논문이 8개의 전문학술지에 게재되었다. 전체의 63.5%인 33편의 논문이 Weed and Turfgrass Science에 게재되었다. 잔디 해충분야 연구 주제는 해충의 생태적 연구와 방제연구로 크게 대별된다. 1990년대 이전에는 잔디해충 관련 논문이 없었으나 1990년대에 9편, 2000년대에 10편, 2010년 이후 14편의 논문이 학술지에 게재되어 1997년 이후 년 평균 2편의 논문이 학술지에 게재되고 있다. 6목 13과 33종의 해충과 잔디혹응애(Aceria zoysia), 쥐며느리(Armadillidium vulgare)가 우리나라에서 잔디 피해 절지동물로 기록되어 있다. 굼벵이와 주둥무늬차색풍뎅이(Adoretus tenuimaculatus), 녹색콩풍뎅이(Popillia quadrigutta), 지렁이 관련 논문이 전체 잔디해충 관련 논문의 50%를 차지하고 있다.

미국을 비롯한 해외 주요국에서는 사서가 연구프로젝트 팀원으로 참여하여 해당 분야 학술지에 논문을 출판하는 예가 많다. 최근에는 문헌정보학 학술지와 타학문분야 학술지에 출판한 사서의 논문수가 서로 비슷할 정도이다. 이 연구는 국내에서도 타학문분야 연구팀이 사서에게 구체적 협력을 요청하고, 연구를 함께 진행하며, 연구성과물인 학술지 논문을 공동 저자로 출판하는 지 등을 분석하였다. 최근 10년 동안 출판된 도서관 소속 저자의 319편 논문 데이터를 Korea Citation Index로부터 수집하여 분석한 결과, 국내에서 타학문분야 학술지에 출판한 사서의 논문은 많지 않았다. 그럼에도 불구하고 의학, 건축학, 재료공학 등의 분야에서 사서가 타학문분야 연구팀과 긴밀하게 협업하고 출판한 구체적인 사례를 발견할 수 있었다. 연구프로젝트에 도서관 사서를 참여시키고자 하는 요구가 국내도 곧 증가할 것으로 예상되는 만큼, 국내 도서관은 물론 사서직을 양성하는 국내 대학의 문헌정보학과에서도 연구프로젝트 지원 관련 교과목을 개설하는 등 이에 대한 대응책 마련을 서둘러야 할 것으로 보인다.

October 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society (JKNS). Staring as official journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society (KNS) in 1972, JKNS is a journal that is listed in the science citation index (SCI) and its impact factor has been steadily rising in recent years. The past history of JKNS was reviewed with a focus on important milestone, and the direction of future development is suggested.

This study aims to determine the awareness and perceptions of Korean researchers regarding mandatory open access (OA) and OA publishing of publicly-funded research papers. In July 2019, Korean researchers who had published in Science Citation Index Expanded journals as first authors and corresponding authors participated in an online survey distributed via e-mail. A total of 1,172 valid responses were collected and analyzed using SPSS 18. The results indicated that the level of awareness of OA differed significantly based on occupation and research experience (p<0.001). Although 52.56% of the respondents had experienced OA publishing, only 22.35% had self-archiving experience. Regardless of the amount of publishing cost support, researchers showed a high level of willingness to publish OA articles. Yet, since the importance of impact factor was evaluated to be very high, at present OA publication might have a limited role as a publication platform.

Using statistic and bibliometric methods to characterize scientific cooperation between China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) and South Korea through their bilateral co-authored papers covered by the Science Citation Index CD-ROM, 1991-2010, in our paper we exploit the feature of their cooperation in four levels: time sequence, academic community, key fields, and institution distribution. From the time sequence we know that collaboration between China and Korea starts in 1991, reaching the first peak during 2004-2007. As for the academic community, the number of Chinese corresponding authors (2414) is slightly lower than that of Korea (2700). Regarding the 27 high yield authors, there are only 4 coming from China. Korea has a higher active level than Chinese authors. China and Korea tend to cooperate with each other on strong disciplines such as physics, chemistry, material science, engineering, mathematics, pharmaceutical, computer science and biology. Furthermore, they also attach great importance to basic research and high-tech cooperation. Besides, Chinese Academy of Sciences ranks at the top 1 among the distribution of institutions. As a majority of the collaborative institutions are universities, the participation of non-university institutions is relatively low. There are 7 Korean universities among the top ten institutions, while Yanbian University and Tsinghua University in China rank respectively as third and fourth. Seoul National University, accompanied by Korea University and Yonsei University as the three top Korean universities, is also among the top among the cooperating institutions.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the selection process of the Science Citation Index(SCI). SCI has been the benchmarking medium of scientific journals for over 40 years by reviewing thousands of journals published each year. The discipline of Traditional Oriental Medicine has been gaining global interest in recent years, yet the number of related journals indexed by SCI has been minimal. Korean Medicine has been producing number of quality journals for decades, but lack of journals in the English language and other problems has hindered consideration for registering with SCI. This paper will focus on the journal selection process at ISI and recommend the criteria needed for a journal to be considered for SCI selection.

CD-ROM을 이용하여 전문도서관의 정기간행물을 평가할 목적으로 Current Contents : Life Science의 44개 SDI 검색결과와 Biotechnology 및 Biochemistry ＆ Biophysics Citation Index 에서 생명공학연구소 논문 151편의 참고문헌을 대상으로 자관 소장자료와 비소장자료로 구분하여 순위표를 만들었다. 이 순위표를 가지고 정기간행물의 자관 소장확률, 예산 증감시 정기간행물의 신규구독 및 구독중단 우선순위, 두 CD-ROM의 공통 소장/비소장 정기간행물을 조사하였다. 연구결과 생명공학연구소에 유용한 생산적인 비소장 정기간행물과 비생산적인 소장 정기간행물을 식별할 수 있었다. 이 자료는 예산 증감시 정기간행물 구입정책에 반영하면 새로운 장서구성 정책의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.
