In finance literature, stock liquidity showing how stocks can be cashed out in the market has received rich attentions from both academicians and practitioners. The reasons are plenty. First, it is known that stock liquidity affects significantly asset pricing. Second, macroeconomic announcements influence liquidity in the stock market. Therefore, stock liquidity itself affects investors' decision and managers' decision as well. Though there exist a great deal of literature about stock liquidity in finance literature, it is quite clear that there are no studies attempting to investigate the stock liquidity issue as one of decision making problems. In finance literature, most of stock liquidity studies had dealt with limited views such as how much it influences stock price, which variables are associated with describing the stock liquidity significantly, etc. However, this paper posits that stock liquidity issue may become a serious decision-making problem, and then be handled by using data mining techniques to estimate its future extent with statistical validity. In this sense, we collected financial data set from a number of manufacturing companies listed in KRX (Korea Exchange) during the period of 2010 to 2013. The reason why we selected dataset from 2010 was to avoid the after-shocks of financial crisis that occurred in 2008. We used Fn-GuidPro system to gather total 5,700 financial data set. Stock liquidity measure was computed by the procedures proposed by Amihud (2002) which is known to show best metrics for showing relationship with daily return. We applied five data mining techniques (or classifiers) such as Bayesian network, support vector machine (SVM), decision tree, neural network, and ensemble method. Bayesian networks include GBN (General Bayesian Network), NBN (Naive BN), TAN (Tree Augmented NBN). Decision tree uses CART and C4.5. Regression result was used as a benchmarking performance. Ensemble method uses two types-integration of two classifiers, and three classifiers. Ensemble method is based on voting for the sake of integrating classifiers. Among the single classifiers, CART showed best performance with 48.2%, compared with 37.18% by regression. Among the ensemble methods, the result from integrating TAN, CART, and SVM was best with 49.25%. Through the additional analysis in individual industries, those relatively stabilized industries like electronic appliances, wholesale & retailing, woods, leather-bags-shoes showed better performance over 50%.
In this work, Zn$_2$SiO$_4$:Mn phosphors were prepared by solid state reaction. The effect of sintering/reduction temperature, flow rate of H$_2$-5%/$N_2$-95% mix gas, and ball milling conditions have been investigated on the sake of PDP(Plasma Display Panel) application. The characteristics such as particle morphology and photoluminescence of prepared phosphors were compared to those of commercial Zn$_2$SiO$_4$:Mn Phosphors. It was found that the Phosphor synthesized at 130$0^{\circ}C$ with 0.08 Mn concentration had a maximum brightness, This brightness was increased more 20% by reduction treatment under 100me/min flow rate of 5%H$_2$-95%$N_2$ mixed gas. The size of particles decreased under 3$\mu\textrm{m}$ after ball milling. Especially, higher luminescence was obtained in our Zn$_2$SiO$_4$:Mn phosphors than commercial Zn$_2$SiO$_4$:Mn phosphors, so that they are able to be applied for PDP.
Recently, interest in emotional technology has escalated and its application has extended to many fields, from both an industrial (product) and service (culture, tourism, medical, education, advertising) perspective. Moreover, culture has become a fundamental aspect of modern industry, playing key roles in: gaming, exhibitions, performances, sports, tourism, design, edutainment, as well as various content distribution industries. The prospect of applying emotional technology for cultural content industries makes up for more than half of the 'plan-manufacture-distribution-marketing' process, and thereby also serves as driving force for the growth of a nation. The primary objective of the following research is analyze successful cases from the past through utilization of emotional technology, and to speculate on efficient directions for future research into developing emotional contents. To achieve this, some of the key terms have been defined and elaborated for the sake of clarity. The terms are as follows: emotion, emotion engineering, science of emotion, emotional technology, and emotional contents. Furthermore, studies were conducted based on the six different fields surrounding CT R&D to observe how projects involving emotional technology have succeeded both on a national and global scale. Based on this analysis, this research aims to develop personalized 'Concierge' service-providing contents, contents designed to maximize performance ability of humans, and contents that could be controlled simply via emotion to effectively spread the culture of Korea by focussing on 'fusion' content development. The following research data may hopefully serve as a basic reference to industries navigating towards emotional content development.
Citizens'income has been increased along with the trend of rapid changes in society, and the quality of their lives has been improved as well. As much as the degree of increase of quality of life, the number of spectators for performing art events, etc. who desire to fulfill their needs for enjoyment of varied cultural performances have been increasing, and also a large number of spectators enjoys a variety of festivals being held in each provincial area as well as international events: we still remember such frantic rooting shown by citizens during 2002 World Cup drawing attention and interest of entire nation. There are always risks of loss of human lives if accidents occur as there sult of close-packed crowd gathered at the same time. Therefore, it is required to prepare adequate security measures in order to prevent various accidents before hand. It is hoped that this research work would be of help for further efficient and systematic security management for the performing arts centers or public theaters encouraging the event organizer and the private security firm and the Korea Private Security Association to exert great effort and investments in further projects for development of security technology. Also, it is required to build a performance culture to consider audience's safety first from the beginning to the end of the event on the basis of efficient security management. Furthermore, spect at or sare required to recognize the fact that safety in the site for performing arts should be guaranteed for everyone's sake, and, to achieve this, they are obliged to be more cooperative with the event organizer and the private security firm, forming a trinity all together, in order not to have safety threatening situations in the site of performing arts events.
As substituting IPv6 network for all IPv4 network in a short time seems unattainable due to high cost and technical limitation, IPv4 and IPv6 are expected to coexist for a certain period of time. Under the co]existing environment of IPv4 and IPv6, interworking brings a number of extra security considerations even if it may have no security problem for each protocol respectively. Thus, the analysis and solutions for those various attacks toward IPv4/IPv6 interworking-related security are inevitably required for the sake of effective transition and settlement to IPv6. In this paper we carried out a proper rule of packet filtering for IPv6-in-IPv4 tunneling interworking environment to protect the IPv4/IPv6 interworking-related security attacks. Design and implementation of the packet filtering system suitable for IPv4/IPv6 tunneling environment in the form of Linux netfilter and ip6tables are also shown. Thru this study, the packet filtering system was found operating correctly ill the tunneling mechanism.
This study investigated parents' attitude about children's unbalanced diet. The subjects were 1,309 parents that their children attended at kindergarten or child care center in Kyoung-Ki province. The order of dislikes in 'vegetables and fruits' was as follows: all kinds of vegetables (56.6%), beans (17.6%), fruits (5.2%). In 'meat, fish, poultry', the order of dislikes was meats (38.2%), fishes (21.8%), milk (16.4%), eggs (10.0%). In 'cerelas', the order of dislikes was rice (31.0%), rice cakes (14.3%), noodles (11.9%). The several rationalizations for dislikes are 'taste' (19.1 %), 'food habit from younger age' (18.4%), 'lack of chances for trying new food' (16.0%) etc. To compared children's rationalizations for dislikes to their age group, the percentage of 'lack of chances for trying new food', 'strange food shape', 'lack of nutrition education' was significantly higher in 'below 5 years old' (<5) group than other groups (<6, <7) and 'sweety food' was significantly higher in 'below 7 years old' (<7) group than other groups (<6, <7)(p <0.05). In parents' attitude about children's unbalanced dietary habit, subjects answered that they try to make children understand to eat dislike food (73.9%), develop new recipe for children (14.0%), neglect children's food habit (6.2%). To compared parents' attitude for children's unbalanced diet by parents age, the percentage of 'try to make children understand to eat dislike food' was significantly higher in 'below 30 years old' (<30) group than other groups ($30{\sim}35,\;35{\sim}39,\;{\geq}40$) and 'developing new recipe' was significantly higher in 'over 40 years old' (${\geq}40$) group than other groups ($<30,\;30{\sim}35,\;35{\sim}39$)(p < 0.05). To compared parents' attitude for children's unbalanced diet by parents' occupation, the percentage of 'neglecting' was higher in employed group and 'developing new recipe' was higher in unemployed group than the other group. According to the results of the survey, it is necessary to make new educational materials for employed parents and young children and develop new recipes to use various kind of foods instead of forcing unpleasant foods on the children for the sake of unbalanced diet.
The purpose of this article is to elucidate Plotinus' concept of freedom. Particular attention is paid to two terms, 'what is self-determined' (to autexousion) and 'what is up to us' (to $eph^{\prime}h{\hat{e}}min$), which Plotinus employs in order to articulate the meaning of freedom. It is shown that freedom in Plotinus consists in the power of doing whatever one wills while willing the good. We first situate Plotinus' concept of freedom in the Socratic tradition. Next we investigate how Plotinus and Alexander of Aphrodisias conceptualize freedom in terms of self-determination in the context of criticizing determinism. It is shown that Alexander tries to secure the psychological grounds for human moral responsibility by introducing a causally undetermined power of choice between alternatives. In contrast, Plotinus is interested in psychological conditions that allow humans to do the right thing. For this purpose, he establishes the concept of will ($boul{\hat{e}}sis$) as the power of wanting and choosing the best. We then try to clarify his claim that free will cannot choose otherwise by appealing to his concept of divine freedom, which idealizes the power of doing one's best and being oneself at one's best. Finally, we discuss Plotinus' view of the limitations and possibilities of human freedom and indicate its practical implications. In conclusion we claim that Plotinus pleads for an active way of living which spreads inner freedom out into the world, rather than living in seclusion so as to protect an inner freedom which is pure.
The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted, interrupted, and changed the way we normally prepare our teacher candidates in teacher preparation programs. In this paper, we, two mathematics teacher educators (MTEs), reflect our own experiences in appropriating, transforming, reconstructing, and modifying our pedagogies of teacher education in making a transition from face-to-face to online environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using a collaborative self-study, we discussed issues, challenges, changes, opportunities, and innovations of teaching an elementary mathematics methods course in the online environment. Using a constant comparison method, we explored the following three themes: (1) using virtual manipulatives; (2) creating collaborative, interactive, and shared learning experiences for preservice teachers; and (3) making preservice teachers engaged in student thinking. These findings indicated that online teaching requires transformative knowledge for teacher educators. Transferring face-to-face to online is not a simple matter of putting the existing content to online; it should focus on pedagogical improvement in teaching mathematics rather than technology's sake or how it can be repurposed in a new online environment in a way that students' learning is optimized. The findings of this study provide implications for unpacking MTEs' technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK), creating collaborative learning experiences for preservice teachers, and designing a collaborative self-study between MTEs engaged in the community of professional learning.
This study comparatively analyzed the cultural codes of Korea and Turkey represented in the Turkish film remaking the Korean original film. Although both films follow the narrative of resisting the tyranny of public power based on fatherly love, similarities and differences were revealed depending on the socio-cultural contexts of Korea and Turkey. First of all, Korea and Turkey valued familialism under the influence of Confucianism and Islam respectively. This was represented as a fatherly love, willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of his daughter. Meanwhile, in the Turkish version, there was a difference in the interpretation of the Islamic identity that encompasses the lives of Turkish people and the consequent human sinfulness and death. In the film, the prisoners repented of their personal sinfulness under Islamic doctrine, and sought salvation by activating the muslim brotherhood. This contrasts with the original work, which uses religion as a humor element that highlights the genre characteristics of comedy films, along with the social atmosphere in Korea that allows for the coexistence of various religions. In addition, Turkish one draws on the realistic issues of the military dictatorship of Turkey in the 1980s and the abolition of the death penalty for EU membership, bringing out a film narrative as a drama genre.

This research examines mutual culture education in accordance with Germany's immigrant social integration policy by analyzing the National European School in Berlin. In this regard, the curricula of Joan-Miró elementary school and Finow elementary school are analyzed. Germany maintains a multicultural policy which enables immigrants to maintain their native language and identity and simultaneously integrate them into the German society. In short, maintenance of immigrants' mother tongue and immigrant students' acquisition of the German language is the core of Germany's social integration policy. The National European School in Berlin is a public school established for the sake of an educational environment in which students can not only build up language capacity, but also create a culturally mutual environment for multicultural students. The school's educational objective is mutual culture education which can integrate and maintain the cultural identity and language of multicultural students. Joan-Miró elementary school encourages mutual cultural ability and bilingual ability while preparing students for the future intelligent society, leading their independent life and self-initiated learning. Finow elementary school encourages mutual culture ability, language capacity and directional capability apart from the basic capacities that can reinforce students to become citizens in demand of the future intellectual society. Korean foreign language education needs to be practically diversified as in the case of the Germany's National European school. Also, improvement of educational environment such as students' bilingual ability, students' ability development regarding their individual characteristics, and the capability of mutual culture understanding are issues that should be urgently treated.
