Triplets of identical cubesats will be built to carry out the following scientific objectives: i) multi-observations of ionospheric ENA (Energetic Neutral Atom) imaging, ii) ionospheric signature of suprathermal electrons and ions associated with auroral acceleration as well as electron microbursts, and iii) complementary measurements of magnetic fields for particle data. Each satellite, a cubesat for ion, neutral, electron, and magnetic fields (CINEMA), is equipped with a suprathermal electron, ion, neutral (STEIN) instrument and a 3-axis magnetometer of magnetoresistive sensors. TRIO is developed by three institutes: i) two CINEMA by Kyung Hee University (KHU) under the WCU program, ii) one CINEMA by UC Berkeley under the NSF support, and iii) three magnetometers by Imperial College, respectively. Multi-spacecraft observations in the STEIN instruments will provide i) stereo ENA imaging with a wide angle in local times, which are sensitive to the evolution of ring current phase space distributions, ii) suprathermal electron measurements with narrow spacings, which reveal the differential signature of accelerated electrons driven by Alfven waves and/or double layer formation in the ionosphere between the acceleration region and the aurora, and iii) suprathermal ion precipitation when the storm-time ring current appears. In addition, multi-spacecraft magnetic field measurements in low earth orbits will allow the tracking of the phase fronts of ULF waves, FTEs, and quasi-periodic reconnection events between ground-based magnetometer data and upstream satellite data.

This thesis is to investigate the effectiveness of Cinema Therapy through the aspect of vicarious learning, that is, Nayeoug's modelling after Yeonsun, and Yeonsun's modelling after The Little Mermaid, by making My Mother, the Mermaid directed by Park Heungsik. After immature Nayeoung returns from the travel into past time, she is reborn as an mature woman, and finally she can manage a happy marriage life. In Nayeoung's initiation, there is Yeonsun's initiation, in that again, there is a initiation of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. This work is a proper text in explaining the effectiveness of Cinema Therapy which aims at self-awareness and self-improvement because it contains some aspects of the vicarious learning through the movie. Nayeon's mother(Yeonsun), Nayeoung's father(Jinguk) have trouble, and sometimes have friendly relations. The major characters' wish and need are examined out through the analysis of the five basic needs based on reality therapy. As a result, it is found out that when their needs are fulfilled, friendly relation is formed, and when their needs are not fulfilled, unfriendly relation is formed. If their own basic desires are examined, their desires can be fulfilled through the inner control by themselves.

We are inundated with visual media; countless such media, ranging from Hollywood blockbusters, American drama, Korean films with enormous budgets to independent films, appeal to our sensibility and engage our empathy and insight. The making of mega-hits that attract millions and a drama of viewer ratings of over forty percent lies in how persuasive the sensibility of the narratives are to an audience from a different milieu and personality. It leads to a question: how can empathy of such a varied group of people be won towards the perspective of directors and authors who come from different nationality and ethnicity to themselves? In exploring the issue, I aim to adopt a psychoanalytical view of human psychology, into consciousness and unconsciousness. Freudian psychoanalysis and Jungian analytic psychology in depth psychology underpin my analysis of visual media. It further enables my examination of unconsciousness applied to spatial design, which is elementary in visual media. In sum, this research aims to improve understanding of spatial design in films, a product of creative human consciousness, by interpreting this as an outcome of the unconscious. This is to apply the concept of collective unconscious in Jung's analytical psychology.

Contemporary space design has based on the framework of academic standards on a number of scientific propositions in order to find out correlation of human and environment and closely examine approaches of a normative design. However the contents are enormous and introductory and have limitation of application to practical business affairs so that we will have to understand them as a thinking to explain the design with,. Therefore this study is an experimental research making use of concrete design approaches applicable to the area of space design ad cinematic construction as a medium. The purpose and significance of it lies in examining its validity and contributing to the future development of space design. Accordingly this study conducted the research through a literature survey for the understanding of space perception in the cinema deduced the language of design concept according to it examined the basic unit of cinematic construction then analyzed the cases of practical architectural spaces. The findings of this study indicate that human's perception to space and the cinema is deduced as a common conceptual language characterized by the ideas of articulation scenery and timeness. These concepts are very organic and interdependent and can probably become a means for human to appropriately analyze an behavior attribute type of investigating environment with. Also in composing space the basic units of cinematic construction can be as instrument to be easily applied to practical affairs as they are correlated with the function of space and a constituent language to be reasonably designed.

This study is to design costumes of each characters, seen in the film of 'TITANIC' directed by James Cameron in 1997, by analyzing various costumes for each roles in the film. The 'TITANIC' has got the 'Oscar Award' in 1998 in 11 sectors for its' high box office record and the finest of the work, based on successful visualization of the costumes for the contemporary characters by historical research. The social background of 'TITANIC' would be presumed in the year of 1912, of which era was also called by 'La Belle Epoque', to say, 'good period'. This study, therefore, traced the representative art trend for the 1910's, together with political, economical and social backgrounds as 1st step. The 2nd step is the consideration of fashion trends of costume affected by the contemporary trends such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco in the period. The 3rd step is the analysis of costumes in the film of 'TITANIC'. Finally, this work has designed the virtual costumes of the characters, in imaginary scenes, which could denote the nature of the personality. Hopefully, this study could help designers show sustainable development in creating cinema costumes and other related projects, based on the understandings of this work.

The hall and the projection room of the multiplex cinema being constructed on the sixth and seventh floors at Jeonpo-dong market, Pusan, is composed of structural beams and decks considering the structures self weight problem, and the following problems are expected: - Vibration and noise generated on the floors by moving audiences may annoy the audiences in the other hall - Vibration and noise generate on the floor of the nearby hall as the audiences walk through the alley near the projection room - Vibration and noise generate on the floor of the hall nearby the projection room as the film drops This study measured and reviewed the vibration amount of the seven representative transferring routes that were selected for the halls and the alley near the projection room. Based on the analysis, the model hall was constructed and the vibration in the hall was estimated after cutting the deck. Also, this study constructed the steel stairs and investigated the vibration transferring characteristics to decide whether to construct the steel stairs in the building. Finally, the results were evaluated by actually using the stairs and reviewed the appropriateness of the measurement.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the expressive effects of Queen Elizabeth I's robes in cinema and also to present two examples of Queen Elizabeth I's robes designed and made based on these expressive effects. To this end, this study wilt first examine Queen Elizabeth I's robes in her portraits according to the visual definers and emblematic meanings. Then on the basis of these knowledges, analyze visual definers and viewing priorities of Queen Elizabeth I's robes in five movies. Thereinafter, these robes will be classified based upon Belong(1998)'s four expressive effects. excitement. calmness, strength and delicacy. Finally, this study will demonstrate calmness and delicacy among four expressive effects through two robes made for the purpose. After analyzing the expressive effects of robes in five Queen Elizabeth I's movies, one can conclude excitement. calmness, strength, and delicacy can be found according to the flow of the story. Since this analysis focuses mainly on one particular person during one Particular period of time, there was a fundamental silhouette prevalent among the Queen's robes which then can be classified into different forms. Moreover, Queen's character in itself embodies authority and grace which. in turn, facilitates the presentation of the four expressive effects along the story line. In conclusion, thorough historical research on the character and the period. in addition to analysis of the visual definer and viewing priorities, is imperative when designing a historical costume.

This study intends to develop, apply, and evaluate a young adult program model for public libraries in Korea. For this, this researcher carried out a SWOT analysis, after examining the current status of domestic and foreign young adult programs, surveying the young adults' interests in and demands for programs, and interviewing the experts of related organizations and groups. As a result, "Book Concert with Youth", "My Dream, My Future", and "Reading Through Cinema", "Fun Learning", and "2 Day 1 Night Reading Camp with Authors" were proposed as the young adult program models.

This study is about how Art Nouveau and Art Deco clothing are represented in the costume design of film created after those periods and examines the recreation process of visual media. The costume design of The Wings of the Dove tried to reflect the mixture of fashion trends that could be seen during the times. Milly???s clothes seem to focus on recreating the special features of the 1900???s fashion trends more visually while Kate???s clothes are represented in a strong and simple way to emphasize her personality. The costumes in The Great Gatsby, tried to reinvent the 1920???s clothes in a romantic way. Daisy???s and Gatsby???s costumes were based on the aesthetics of the 1920???s clothing. but emphasized the symbolic nature of the characters to give a greater dramatic effect. By analyzing and comparing, it can be seen that, while costume design usually begin with painstaking research into the historical period in which the film is set it is often altered to highlight aspects of the story. such as the theme and the characters, in an effort to create a stronger dramatic effect. Costume design remains one of the most effective means for a director to visually express the personality and desires of a film???s characters. The ideal aim of costume design is to create something new but at the same time, remain true to the period by being grounded in accurate research.
