인도의 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육에 대한 분석 및 시사점 (Analysis and Implication about Elementary Computer Education in India)

  • 현재의 CMC 컴퓨터 사이언스 교육과정은 2006년부터 개발이 진행되어 2013년에 확정되었으며, 1학년부터 8학년까지 적용되고 있다. CMC에서는 컴퓨터에 대한 유창성 개발하기, 컴퓨터와 관련된 생각의 기술 개발하기, 서로 연결될 수 있는 지식에 초점두기를 교육과정의 기저로 삼았다. 이를 토대로, 생각하는 방법, 생각하는 방법과 필수개념을 융합하는 컴퓨터의 활용, 주제중심 융합, 나선형 교육과정, 전문가로써의 역량 갖기의 다섯 가지를 핵심요소로 삼고 전국 공통의 컴퓨터 교육과정을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 정부 주관의 전국 단위 컴퓨터 교육연수 및 교과서 개발이 이루어졌으며, 더욱 강화하고자 노력하고 있다. 이는 K-12의 교과로서 컴퓨터교육의 필요성에 대한 화두와 교육내용에서 소프트웨어 교육과 컴퓨터적 사고(Computational Thinking)에 대한 당위성에 대하여 소프트웨어 강국인 인도의 사례를 통해 직 간접적으로 시사점을 도출할 수 있다.

국내 태양광산업의 해외진출을 위한 시장 선택 요인에 대한 분석 (Development of International Market Selection Models for Solar Power System Industry of Korea)

  • Due to environmental issues such as global warming, the importance of renewable energy is growing. Solar Power System is one of the most growing eco-friendly energy industries in the world, but Korea's solar energy industry faces fierce competition due to the trade regulations and changes in energy related laws in the major markets such as the U.S., EU and China. Therefore, Korea needs to diversify its export markets towards emerging markets. This paper analyzed 162 countries in the world and developed a model to measure how promising the countries are. GSMI(Grid connected Solar Market Index) and OSMI(Off-grid Solar Market Index) are invented based on the models. By using the developed model and the data of 162 countries over the 15-year period from 2000 to 2014, the foreign markets are ranked for searching the export market. According to the analysis, China, Japan, U.S, India and Taiwan ranked first to fifth in GSMI and OSMI ranking, which were followed by China, India, Bangladesh, Philippines and Afghanistan. The model developed through this research is expected to provide a more reasonable and scientific approach to the advancement of the Korean solar energy industry into overseas markets.

인도의 문화코드와 글로컬문화콘텐츠 (Indian Culture Code and Glocal Cultural Contents)

  • 전 세계적으로 문화콘텐츠 산업이 주목받기 시작하면서 글로컬문화콘텐츠 개발에 대한 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 골드만삭스의 BRICs 보고서에 따르면 인도는 중국과 더불어 미래 글로벌 경제의 성장 동력이자, 문화콘텐츠 소비시장의 새로운 블루칩으로 주목 받고 있다. 글로컬문화콘텐츠 개발에 있어 가장 중요한 것은 각 나라의 문화를 체계적·심층적으로 분석하는 것이다. 인도의 경우 단일문화권인 우리나라와는 다르게 복합·다문화 체계를 가지고 있으며 한국, 중국, 일본을 대표하는 동아시아 문화권에 속하지 않아 문화적 거리감도 큰 편이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인도 진출을 목적으로 한 한국기업들을 위해 글로컬문화콘텐츠 개발의 방향을 제시하고 인도의 문화코드를 이해하는데 그 목표를 두고 있다. 연구 결과를 요약하면, 인도는 정치와 사회 그리고 문화 분야에서 대략 다음과 같이 9가지 문화코드가 발견된다. 먼저 정치와 사회 문화코드로는 다음 5가지가 있다: i) 지속적 민주주의와 서민구제, ii) 권력지향적 권위주의, iii) 집단주의와 개인주의 성향을 동시에 지닌 집단적 개인주의, iv) 생활종교의 정착, v) 미래보다 현재에 충실한 '카르페 디엠'. 그리고 경제 문화코드는 vi) 12억 인구가 모시는 또 다른 신인 돈, vii) 과소비를 지양하는 실용적 구매라는 2가지 코드로 요약할 수 있으며, 마지막으로 인도인이 선호하는 문화콘텐츠 코드로는 viii) 인도의 국민문화콘텐츠라고 할 수 있는 맛살라 무비를 들 수 있다. ix) 그리고 이 맛살라 무비의 공통된 주제인 해피엔딩을 꼽을 수 있다. 결론에서는 <대장금>, <괴물>, <디워>를 앞서 제시한 9가지 인도의 문화코드에 적용하여 어떤 점이 부합하고 또 어떤 점이 부합하지 않는지를 개략적으로 살펴보았다. 인도를 상대로 한 비즈니스는 결코 쉽지 않다. 그 이유는 일차적으로 인도라는 나라가 문화적으로 다양성을 기초로 이루어진 국가이기 때문이다. 따라서 우리나라와 인도의 현존하는 문화적 거리를 좁히는 것이 우리나라의 문화콘텐츠산업이 인도에 진출하는데 있어 가장 큰 과제라 할 수 있으며, 현지화 과정에 있어서는 인도인이 선호하는 콘텐츠가 무엇인지를 파악하는데 많은 노력을 기울어야 할 것이다.

애슬레저 웨어의 무역 네트워크 변화 - 사회연결망 분석 - (Changes in athleisure wear trade networks - A social network approach -)

  • As the spread of the health and wellness trend continues worldwide, many consumers are spending much time on sports activities and expressing their individuality through sportswear. This study analyzes the trade networks of major exporters and importers of athleisure wear to provide an exporting policy for Korean apparel companies. As a result, The USA was found to import the most athleisure wear. On the other hand, China had the largest number of athleisure wear exports, and India's exports, which are becoming increasingly important as apparel producers were notable. Next, using the concept of the centrality of social network analysis, it was found that the USA was the largest importer and the center of athleisure wear's export network, but its influence has decreased gradually since 2010. China has the highest out-degree and betweenness centrality and center in the export of athleisure wear. The centrality of Asian countries such as India and Vietnam has increased. In Korea, the import of athleisure wear has increased greatly, but the export of athleisure wear has continuously decreased. Korea has less price competitiveness than other developing countries in Asia, but many Korean athleisure wear clothing brands are now attracting popularity not only in Korea but also in other countries with their excellent technology and design. In the future, the exporting policy of Korea's athleisure wear should focus on high value-added and differentiated products.

인도의 집단 성폭행 사건들과 지역적 특성의 연관성 (Association of Regional Sexual Assaults with Regional Traits in India)

  • 근래 인도에서의 잔혹한 집단 성폭행 사건에 대한 보도를 자주 접하고 있다. 인도에서 가장 부각된 집단 성폭행 사건은 2012년 의대생인 조티 싱을 버스에서 6명이 집단 성폭행한 후 성기와 장기를 손상해 사망하게 만든 사건이다. 이 사건을 계기로 성폭행에 대해 사형까지도 포함한 강력한 처벌 법안이 발의되고 통과되었다. 그러나 그 이후로도 성폭행은 여전히 증가하고 있다. 이에 성폭행 사건 발생지역을 중심으로 지역적 특성과의 연관성을 살펴본 결과, 언론에 보도된 집단 성폭행 사례의 대부분이 인도 중북부에서 발생하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이것은 지역적으로 힌두 강세지역과 일치하는 것을 확인하였다. 그렇다면 그 원인은 여성 경시가 심각한 힌두 근본주의가 그 원인이라고 결론 내릴 수밖에 없다. 힌두 근본주의자들은 강한 복고주의적 경향을 가지고 여성에 관한 전통적 가치를 부활시키려 한다. 인도 사회에서 여성은 아직도 종속적인 피해 위험에 노출되어 있다. 집권당과 정치지도자들의 힌두 근본주의 노선 추구는 인도 여성의 사회적 지위와 인권을 개선하는 데는 많은 시간이 더 필요할 것으로 보인다.

중국문헌을 통해본 중세 동남아의 불교문화(II) (Some Views for the Buddhist Culture of Southeast Asia at Middle Ages through the Chinese Description (II))

  • This essay is for a study on the survey of buddhist cultural literary document about the Southeast Asia by Nanqishu(南齊書), Liangshu(梁書), Chiu T'angshu(舊唐書), Hsin T'ang shu(新唐書) which are included in the Chinese Official History and Jí-shénzhōu-sānbăo-găntōng-lù(集神州三寶感通錄), Weioshu Shilao Ji (魏書 釋老志). These documents allows us to imagine next some historical states. First, these documents are recording this area, especially Funan, as a plentiful diggings of gold, silver, tin, copper, etc. These are important materials for gilt bronze sculptures. Further, this local produced gold called 'Yangmai(楊邁)' is recognized as same as Zĭmòjīn(紫磨金) in china, and these documents explains the process of producing the bronze images and golden ornaments in Southeast Asia. Specially, this plentiful materials leads them to make a 10 wei(圍) tall golden-silver image which worshiped as hindu god or sometimes buddhist images. Second, Vietnam and Funan in Northern and Southern Dynasty periods were in antagonistic relationship not only in the political but also in religious between Vietnamese Hinduism and Funan's Buddhism. Under this situation, the monk Nagaxian(那伽仙) who had came from India was accredited to Southern Qi court as a delegate to build a good relationship by the common religion Buddhism. It means the Buddhism of Southeast Asia also took a role of diplomacy. Third, these documents proved the active Southeast Asian cultural exchange in early 3th century. At this time, Funan delegate Suwu(蘇物) visited the court of Kushan Dynasty in India and he is seemed to travel the city of Pātaliputra. It oppressed us to extend our outlook which have been restricted in the relationship between Southern india and Southeast Asia to more broaden area. In addition, the buddhist art of Southern India and Bodhgaya temple was imported to Southeast Asia directly to send to Southern China. For example, the wooden buddha image, Bodhgaya stupa image, and Sri Lanka style's buddha images are looked be introduced to Southern China at this time throughout the Southeast Asia. At last, we got to know that the court music of Kucha in the northern silk route was imported to the Southeast Asia in early middle age. Even it may be introduced by China, but this document is very important to make the surmise is not unreasonable that the buddhist culture of northern silk route imported to the Southeast Asia accompanied with Kucha music. The buddha images in Gandharan style which are excavated from some site of Southeast Asia may demonstrate this literary sources is authentic.

Consequences and Remediation of Climate change with Focus on Clean Water and Sanitation in India

  • The emission of greenhouse gases mainly carbon dioxide and methane is the result of rapid industrialization to meet the demands of ever-growing population. This has resulted in an increase of global temperature which in turn is responsible for severe environmental, social, ecological and economic losses, commonly known as to as 'climate change'. This study attempts to highlight the impacts of climate change mainly focussing on water contamination, sanitation and open defecation in India. The requirement for the instantaneous employment of environment friendly technologies along with improved sanitary system has been discussed. Various other issues which are also linked to climate change that need further management like managing water resources, deterioration in human health, economic losses, modification and successful implementation of policies have been pointed out. Furthermore, stress has been made for the urgent adaptation and rethinking for making strategies along with the involvement of women in order to cop up challenges offered by climate change.

의료용 화상환자 압박복의 제조 국가별 비교 (Comparison of Medical Compression Garments by Manufacturing Country)

  • A special medical compression garment has been developed to be worn after surgery or treatment using an elastic fiber in which the amount of compression can be adjusted to a specified targeted area to reduce the formation of hypertrophic scarring. In order to develop this medical compression garments, specialized technical skill in fiber, compression class and body measurements are needed. This study provides product survey data for the development of medical compression garments. An investigation analyzed medical compression garments of 16 brands from 6 countries sold in the Korean market & online, such as Make Me Heal, Jobst, Bio Concepts, Design Veronique$^{(R)}$ Nouvelle and Leonisa$^{(R)}$ (USA), Respire(Germany), Malcom$^{(R)}$, Holistic garments and Jobskin(UK), Technomed, kanav Healthcare and Sindhoori surgicals(India), Soo medical and C&C medical(Korea), Secondskin(Australia). The main fibers of compression garments were nylon and spandex: in addition, the fiber content was different by country and brand. The number of compression classes of products was USA(4), UK(4), and India(4). For body measurements, USA and many brands used (bust, under bust, waist, hip, thigh, knee, calf, ankle, upper arm, elbow, wrist, armhole bicep) circumference and length.

4IR 시대의 글로벌 밸류체인(GVC) 활용과 인도시장 FDI 성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Global Value Chain (GVC) of Indian Market and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the Age of 4IR)

  • In recent years, the Indian market has gained worldwide attention in the global trading business environment. Korean companies are also seeking to enter the indian market, and their foreign trade investment strategy is based on the Global Value Chain(GVC). In this study, we examine difference from traditional investment strategy to GVC investment strategy in the age of 4IR(fourth industrial revolution) through using POLS model(pooled least square), FEM(fixed effect model), and REM(randomized effect model). Based on the analysis of 84 monthly data related to the FDI and international trade effects between Korea and India, the following results were found. As Korean companies increased their share of export to the Indian market and export to the Indian market, the number of new companies directly invested in overseas market increased. However, the amount of import into the Indian market was relatively low in relation to the number of new companies directly in overseas markets. As a result of analyzing the investment strategy of the GVC in India, the GVC has shifted from manufacturing to process upgrading to enter the GVC on Smile Curve.
