KORAIL airport railroad is the largest private invested project and also the first private tried rail SOC, but which was acquisited into KORAIL on 30. Nov. 2009. Presently, airport train opened on 23. MAR. 2007 as the first phase(Inchon international airport - Kimpo airport, operation distance 37.6km), the 2nd phase(Kimpo airport - Seoul station, operation distacne 20.4km) is expected at the late this year. In this study, I tried to compare domestic & foreign airport train in the perspective of transfer system and searched for the development agendas.

This paper presents an activation plan for reliability centered maintenance (RCM) of rolling stock. The KTX is carrying out the maintenance in compliance with RCM. MKBSF, that is one of the reliability indices for KTX, is shown 183,483 km in 2009, whereas it is shown 68,986 km in 2004. It means that the reliability of KTX has been growing every year. It also is result of reliability management activities. KORAIL did not apply RCM until now about the conventional rolling stocks. But KORAIL decided that applies RCM system because of reliability management effect of KTX. In this study, we tried to know an activation plan for the reliability centered maintenance of the conventional rolling stocks.

This paper describes what causes the breakage of the toughened glass stem insulators. Several plausible hypotheses were proposed by surveying the field, hearing evidence, analyzing the broken specimens, etc. The hypotheses were classified into a couple of patterns and the hypotheses were selected and listed in order of the possibility. As a result, the most convincing cause of the breakage was the resonance of the vibrations incoming from the H-frame side and the feeder side. In addition, the collision of ballasts and the impurities in the toughened glass could be also the causes.

철도에서는 열차가 출발할 때 착력을 향상시키기 위해 레일과 차륜사이에 모래를 살사하게 되는데 이때 ATC(Automatic Train Control : 열차자동제어장치) 신호파형에 영향을 줄 수 있다는 판단에 따라 시험운행하면서 ATC 차상장치인 TVM 430의 CRNB 보드 내에서 살사동작 후 신호파형을 측정하고 분석하였다. 이로 인해 다중화 되어 있는 차상장치 시스템의 동작상태와 살사재료별 ATC 신호파형에 미치는 영향성을 파악할 수 있었으며 향후 살사로 인해 발생되는 문제점 등의 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

급변하는 정보화 사회에서, 철도 물류 정보 분야는 업무 자동화에 대한 인식 부족, 데이터 실시간 처리 불가, 열악한 사용자 환경 등으로 인해 활성화되지 못하였다. 이러한 상황을 극복하기 위해 인터넷을 기반으로 하며 차세대 인터넷 표준으로 알려진 XML을 적용한 철도 물류 정보 연계 시스템을 구축하였다. 구축된 시스템은 기존의 철도 물류 정보 시스템의 기능과 성능을 개선하여 사용자에게 안정되고 편리한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 구조로 설계되었다. 또한 기존의 2-tier 형태의 WEB 구조를 3-tier 형태로 하여 보안이 강화된 구조로 하였으며, 새로운 인터넷 표준으로 각광받는 XML Schema와 XSL을 적용하여 앞서 나가는 철도 물류 정보 시스템이 되도록 하였다.

Until now, Many papers were written by graduate school students and consultents about railway station as main consideration. But there is no paper about specific private-invested station development. So in this paper, Just consider limiting Dong-Incheon private-invested station on a noncompetitive point of view that also constructed as a part of railway station development. This paper will be referenced of private-invested station management and direction of development in Korail railway station development. Private-invested station development is actively drived to now after Seoul private-invested station in 1989 as Korail's first induced private capital. Dong-Incheon private-invested station also built in 1989 and operated to now, but it can't keep up with current market and can't meet changeable commercial business. So in this paper, comparing Dong-Incheon private-invested station with one of the successful private-invested stations which is youngdengpo private-invested station and seeking the improvement direction of Dong-Incheon private-invested station as considering Dong-Incheon private-invested station's floating, traffic system, walking line, the range of station, the development type, facilities, and other nation's developing cases.

Since the KTX start its service on April 1st of 2004, KTX increased its share up to 17.4% (2008). It's the 2nd after the passenger car share of 59.2% in the national transportation, but the gap is still wide. In addition, because of the rise of goods' and oil price, the share of intercity express bus is growing up. Nevertheless Korail is trying to improve the train schedule and develop internodal transit system, the number of passengers of KTX is remain flat. KORAIL should start and proceed the tasks below. - Analysis of the 5 year's operation of KTX since the year of 2004 to make plans for the steady growth - development of the KTX operation plan for expansion of railway - preparing the operation of additional passenger rail services on the mail line for newly introduced trains. - expansion of KTX's service area after the introduction of KTX-II - introduction of other new trains - examination for the action plans to promote marketing in main-line including refinement of the rate structure

본 논문은 한국철도공사의 구매업무와 타기업 등의 구매관련 업무를 비교 검토하였다. 또한, 철도산업의 특성상 주요 구매물품인 철도차량 및 차량용품을 중심으로 제도 및 운영상 문제점을 파악하고 이에 대한 개선방안과 효율적 구매관리로 철도차량과 차량용품 등의 구매비용 절감방안을 제시하였다.

본 연구에서는 현재 국내 철도 및 지하철에 전력을 공급하는 전력설비들의 진단시스템 운용실태를 돌아보고 기존의 시스템을 최대한 존중하면서 좀더 효율적인 진단을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 모색하였다. 또한 판매자에 따라 다른 통신방식과 다른 HMI를 사용함으로 인하여 발생되는 많은 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 통합된 시스템을 구성하였고 그에 따라서 여러 진단센서들을 종합적으로 연계하여 상호 연관관계를 가지고 서로의 정보를 공유하면서 통합적인 진단이 가능하도록 하였다.

In the automatic operation of an urban rail vehicle, a conventional PID control algorithm is applied to run the vehicle between stations within time limit and jerk limit. But the energy consumption in the automatic operation is much higher than in the manual operation. In this study, the optimal control algorithm for automatic operation is proposed to minimize energy consumption, which satisfies automatic operation for the urban rail vehicle, compared with the conventional PID control algorithm.
