This study aims to analyze the change in the correlation between the index values and qualitative quantitative evaluation elements by applying 'the decile of total number of articles' instead of the average annual number of articles in Kor-Factor2, and to evaluate the distinction ability between registered journals and register nominee journals of the KCI. The correlation between the index values and qualitative quantitative evaluation elements was analyzed by calculating the correlation coefficient between the index values and the evaluation elements, and then the correlation was compared with that of Kor-Factor2. To evaluate the distinction ability, we carried out independent samples t-test on the mean difference between index values of register nominee journal group and registered journal group and compared the mean difference with that of Kor-Factor2, IF and journal h-index. As a result, we found that the modified index applying the decile of total number of articles was effective in improving the balance among the correlation between the index values and qualitative quantitative evaluation elements compared to Kor-Factor2, and the new index appeared to be superior to other indexes on distinction ability of the journal's registration condition in the KCI.

This study describes the meaning of and the formula for Kor-$h_T$, which is a modified index built on the tapered h-index by applying 'the ranking according to the number of citations of journals'. This study evaluated the de-duplication rate of index values of Kor-$h_T$ and analyzed the change in the correlation between the index values and evaluation elements using the Korea Citation Index data from 2008 to 2010. Kor-$h_T$ is compared with h-index, tapered h-index, and IF. As a result, Kor-$h_T$ appeared to be superior to other indexes on de-duplication rate. It is also shown that there is a very strong positive correlation between the evaluation elements, the number of citations and the number of articles of journals, and the index values of Kor-$h_T$.

Journals are the main indicator to evaluate the level of the studies of a country. The main purpose of this study is to suggest the improvements of the current journal evaluation system to enhance the level of journal quality. To accomplish the above purpose, the 631 researchers are surveyed by internet for their recognition. The major findings are as follows. Firstly, the current registration process need to be maintained, however, need to reinforce the conditions to level up the journal level and to extend the term for keeping the rate. Secondly, the professionalism and credibility of the appraisers need to be reinforced to increase the equity and rationality of the current evaluation system. Thirdly, the evaluation process for the newly entering journal need to be more strict than the current system. Fourthly, the Korean citation index or Kor-Factor need to be applied to evaluate the domestic journals. Lastly, the restriction policy is need to constrain the number of journals.

This study was designed to determine the effects of larval extracts from Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis shade dried larva from Korea and China on liver tissues of hepatic injury groups. The experimental groups are divided into five groups; Normal, carbon tetrachloride single injection ($CCl_4$), Pb-CHI ($CCl_4$ + P. brevitarsis shade dried larva from China), Pb-KOR ($CCl_4$ + P. brevitarsis shade dried larva from Korea) and SIL ($CCl_4$ + 0.35% silymarin) groups. Sprague Dawley rats were oral injected with $CCl_4$ at a dose l mg/kg (20% in corn oil) for induction of liver damage for 4 weeks. Each experimental group was fed with a dose 50 mg/kg of larval extracts based on medicinal preparations from 3 weeks to 4 weeks after $CCl_4$ treatment. At the end of 4 weeks, we evaluated the serum levels of glutamate-oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT), glutamate-pyruvate transferase (GPT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in serum and the cytokine levels of tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$) (TNF-${\alpha}$) and transforming growth factor-${\beta}$ (TGF-${\beta}$) in the cells isolated from spleen and liver. The histological analysis was also conducted. The $CCl_4$ injection reduced body weight, induced congestion of middle lobe and hepatocytic degeneration, resulting in disintegration of hepatic cords, and increased biochemical markers of blood related to hepatic injury. On the other hand, the Pb-CHI and Pb-KOR group decreased the levels of biochemical markers in blood and cytokine levels in spleen and liver. Especially, the Pb-KOR group facilitated the recovery of biochemical values of blood related to hepatic injury, hepatic lesions and fibrosis. Taken together, larval extract from P. brevitarsis might prevent acute hepatotoxicity and enhance the recovery of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis induced by $CCl_4$, and the ingredients could be a promising candidate for the prevention and treatment of hepatic disorders.

본 논문은 한국도로용량편람의 신호교차로 용량분석에서 차로이용계수를 적용하는 방법을 신호교차로 용량분석의 절차와 이동류 구분 측면에서 살펴보았다. 고찰한 결과 차로이용계수의 개선방향은 다음과 같다. 첫째, v/c 비에 따라 차로이용계수를 적용함으로써, 반복계산이 불필요하게 발생한다. 따라서 편람 개정시 이러한 반복계산을 없애는 값을 산정해야 한다. 둘째, 차로이용계수는 직진 전용차로를 통과하는 직진교통량에 대해서만 적용해야 한다. 실제 현장에서 교통량 조사 상황을 고려해보면, 상당히 불합리한 값을 도출한 것이다. 따라서 차로이용계수를 적용하는 이동류를 정확히 설명하고 그 문제점을 분명히 해야 한다. 셋째, 차로이용계수는 직진 이동류에 대해서만 있다. 우리 나라 전역에 있는 소규모 교차로를 고려해 볼 때, 차로이용계수는 다양한 차로군(lane group)에 대하여 추가적으로 조사연구가 필요하다.

The delay on two-lane, Two-way roads is a very important factor which tends to cause relatively high driver loads and too much delay often leads to traffic accidents. In this study a generalized form of delay estimation model was developed based on constant slow moving vehicle speeds, 100% no-passing zone, and flat terrain highway sections. To validate the model, a comparison was made with John Morrall's SMV(Slow Moving Vehicle)model as well as with TWOPAS model. Also a sensitivity analysis was performed to check accuracy of the model. It was found that the model was easy to apply and yet provided reasonable results for experimental conditions specified in the study. It was recommended that speed calculation procedure of the model be improved by further studies, so that the effect of speed acceleration or deceleration according to highway geometries on delay could be analyzed more accurately.

Diffculty decannulation is one of serious and troublesome complication in management. The etiologic factors were deviation of tracheal wall, growing of granulation tissue, subglottic edema, cicatricial stenosis of trachea and functional factor. We observed 9 cases of diffculty decannlation after tracheostomy and we report with literature review on these cases.
