불규칙형상의 박판제품에 관한 블랭킹 및 피어싱용 통합적 CAD시스템 (An integrated CAD system for blanking or piercing of irregular-shaped sheet metal products)

  • This paper describes a research work of developing a computer-aided design of blanking and piercing for irregular-shaped sheet metal products. An approach to the development of compact and practical CAB system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the CAD system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. The system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD with a personal computer. Based on knowledge-based rules, the system, STRT-DES, is designed by considering several factors, such as complexities of blank geometry and punch profile, availability of press equipment and standard parts, utilization ratio which minimizes the scrap in a single or a pairwise operation, bridge width, grain orientation and design requirements which maximize the strength of the part when subsequent bending is involved. This system checks a forming feasibility with both internal and external features, a dimension of blanked hole, and a corner and a fillet radius for irregualrly shaped sheet metal products. Therefore this system can carry out a die design for each process which is obtained from results of an automated blank layout drawing with a best utilization ratio for irregular shape of product that was successful in production feasibility check module and those of an automated strip layout drawing and generate part drawings and the assembly drawing of die set in graphic forms.

건설포탈 기반통합형 지식관리시스템 (Integrated Knowledge Management System based on Construction Portal)

  • 정보화 시대 흐름에 맞추어 건설기업들의 자체적 정보시스템 구축에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 특히 지식기반 경제라는 패러다임의 등장과 함께 지식관리시스템의 구축이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 기존 업무시스템과는 별개로 개발되어있고, 시스템에 내재된 지식관리 방법의 문제로 인해 지식관리시스템을 도입, 운영하고 있는 건설기업에서는 낮은 이용도를 보이고, 그 도입 성과에 대해 불만족해 하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 조직 내외부에 흩어져 있는 지식들을 한 곳으로 통합하고, 독립적으로 구축되어 있는 개별적인 시스템에 대한 기능적인 통합을 제공하는 통합형 지식관리시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현재 사용 중인 지식관리시스템의 사례 조사를 토대로 문제점 및 요구사항을 분석하고, 이러한 요구사항 반영하기 위한 방안으로 건설포탈의 활용을 제시한다. 요구사항을 중심으로 건설포탈에서 지식관리를 위해 제공되어야 할 어플리케이션과 그 어플리케이션들과 상호연계를 통한 통합적 지식관리 방법을 제시하고, 이를 시스템으로 개발하였다.

  • 본 연구는 작업현장, 교육현장, 기타 시공간에서 작업자의 현재 상황이나 담당업무 맥락에 따라 개인의 숙련도나 학습 진도에 맞추어 비공식학습과 공식학습 모두 실시간으로 발생할 수 있는 개인 추천 서비스 구현을 목표로 한다. 이에 복합지식을 기반으로 실시간으로 코칭과 조언을 들을 수 있으며, 다차원적인 관계를 쉽게 검색하고 추천할 수 있는 개인 맞춤형 복합지식 지능화 추천 시스템을 설계하였다. 이를 위해, 복합지식 저장소와 복합지식관리 모듈을 개발하였다. 특정 산업분야에서는 장기적으로 축척되는 지식베이스를 근간으로 하여 전문적인 문제해결 혹은 코칭 서비스 등을 부가적으로 창출할 것으로 기대된다.

인터넷 지식공유에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구: 사회적 자본 이론과 자기표현욕구를 중심으로 (The Factors to Promote Internet Knowledge Sharing: Based on Social Capital Theory and Self-Expression Concept)

  • The previous researches about knowledge sharing were proceeded in terms of KMS (Knowledge Management System) in center. However, knowledge sharing is recently applied to Internet space, which is open to every users, as well as KMS, which is qualified for restricted people. For example, some portal sites, such as Naver, the most popular portal in Korea, have virtual spaces to share users' knowledges and it is common that many users use the spaces. Knowledge sharing online, compared with KMS, will be more advanced to promote intention for knowledge sharing because of the character of Internet space that is open to all users. Nevertheless, there are few researches about knowledge sharing in the Internet. Considering this situation, this study is attempted to figure out the factors to promote Internet knowledge sharing, based on social capital theory and self-expression concept. A survey of experienced Internet user and PLS (Partial Least Square) were utilized for analysis. The test of this study reveals that social capital and self-expression are significant factors to influence knowledge sharing intention, and that also personal innovation and self-efficacy are significantly related to the self-expression. However, personal innovation does not have significant impact on social capital. According to the result, self-expression, as well as trust and system itself, has significantly effect on knowledge sharing intention in order to promote knowledge sharing in the Internet.

  • As development of information technology, companies stress the need of knowledge management. Companies construct ERP system including knowledge management. But, it is not easy to formalize knowledge in organization. They experience that constructing information system help knowledge management. Now, we focus on engineering knowledge. Because engineering data contains experts' experience and know-how in its own, engineering knowledge is a treasure house of knowledge. Korean shipyards are leader of world shipbuilding industry. They have accumulated a store of knowledge and data. But, they don't have data mining tool to utilize accumulated data. This paper treats development of data mining tools for the utilization of shipbuilding knowledge based on genetic programming(GP).

  • As pervasive computing technology, which aims to get linked to useful knowledge, information or services anytime, anywhere, using any devices and/or artifacts, is proliferating, desirable impacts on knowledge management systems are now available. The pervasive computing technology will potentially enable the knowledge management systems to realize individualization and socialization and ultimately increase the knowledge processing productivity. However, researchers who apply the pervasive computing methodologies to novel way of knowledge management have been very few. These result in unsatisfactory consideration of establishing pervasive knowledge management systems. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to cast the vision of pervasive knowledge management and search for a couple of possible research issues and possibilities. This paper suggests a framework of ubiDSS, an amended knowledge management system for the next generation deploying pervasive and autonomous knowledge acquisition capabilities of ubiquitous computing technologies. Also the CKAM, context-based knowledge acquisition module, is illustrated as a prototype of future knowledge management systems.

This study suggests several strategies for promoting local development in Chunchon Area as follows ; first, building of local innovation system in chunchon area and convergence and diffusion of knowledge based industries. second, making of industrial environment suitable to developing knowledge based industries. third, the establishment of overall industrial supporting systems. fourth, expansion of industrial infra and prevention of the brain drain. fifth, transformation of industrial complex into innovation clusters. The result of this study will be useful for the chief executives officers to make more rational decision making for industrial developing strategies is related to the Knowledge based Industries. The paper also strives to provoke debate in this area with to encouraging further research on the topic.

  • A methodology for developing an object description system based on functional-structure of chemical plant is proposed. A knowledge base for chemical plant fault diagnosis is also organized in a generic fashion using the heuristic knowledge of human operators. A plant can be seen as a hierarchical set of subsystems. Each subsystem is called a SCOPE. The state of the plant and the behavior of each subsystem is managed by the SCOPES. A computer-based system based on thls methodology and knowledge base has been developed and applied to the subprocess of ethylene plant to evaluate the effectiveness of the methodology.

  • This paper describes a research work of developing computer-aided design of lead frame, semiconductor, with blanking operation which is very precise for progressive working. Approach to the system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from pasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. This system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD using a personal computer and in I-DEAS Drafting Programming Language on the I-DEAS Master Series Drafting with Workstation, HP9000/715(64). Transference of data between AutoCAD and I-DEAS Master Series Drafting is accomplished by DXF(drawing exchange format) and IGES(initial graphics exchange specification) methods. This system is composed of five modules, which are input and shape treatment, production feasibility check, strip-layout, data-conversion and die-layout modules. The process planning and Die design system is designed by considering several factors, such as complexities of blank geometry, punch profiles, and the availability of a press equipment and standard parts. This system provides its efficiecy for strip-layout, and die design for lead frame, semiconductor.

  • 대학의 지식조직이다. 지식경영을 통해 지식자원을 가장 효율적이고 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 조직임에도 불구하고 이를 적절히 전략화하지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 학생, 교수, 직원 그리고 대학관계인을 중심으로 한 지식그룹을 지식커뮤니티로 통합하여 지식이전 및 공유 나아가서 지식창출이 활성화될 수 있는 대학환경이 필요하다. 이를 위해 지식사용자의 개인별 정보맞춤서비스와 다양한 자료를 효과적으로 접근하고 관리할 수 있는 지식포털기술을 이용하여 대학의 “지식” 자원을 극대화할 수 있는 시스템을 구축할 필요성이 있다. 이러한 시스템의 구축은 새로운 지식공유 및 유통환경, 지식창출문화 그리고 대학커뮤니티의 활성화에 기여할 수 있으며 대학의 이미지제고와 경쟁우위의 대학발전을 이룩할 수 있을 것이다.
