The enumerative classification schemes do not represent the tiny mass of knowledge embodied in a article in a periodical or in a chapter or a paragraph of a book. But today's information centers regard a tiny spot of knowledge embodied in a article as a class. we call this micro-thought. But the enumerative classification are manual systems, it cannot be a n.0, pplied to the automation of classification. The purpose of this study is to build a general principle for the automatic book-classification which can be put to use in library operation, and to present a methodology of the automatic classification for the library. The methodology used is essentially theoretical, Published works by and about Ranganathan, especially 6th edition of the CC were studied, analyzed. The principle of automatic book classification derived from the analysis of colon classification and facet combinations. The results of this study can be summarized as follows ; (1) This study confined the fields of library science and agriculture. (2) This study represent a general principles for the automatic book classification of library science and agriculture. (3) Program flowcharts are designed as a basis of system analysis and program procedure in library science and agriculture. (4) The principles of the automatic classification in library, science is different from that of agriculture. (5) Automatic book classification can be performed by the principle of faceted classification, by inputting the title and subject code into a computer. In addition, the expected value from the automatic book-classification is as follows (1) The prompt and accurate of classification is possible. (2) Though a book is classified in any library, it can have same classification number. (3) The user can retrieve the classification code of a book for which he or she wants to search through dialogue with the computer. (4) Since the concept coordination method is employed, a tiny mass of knowledge embodied in a article in a periodical or in a chapter or a paragraph of a book can be represented as a class. (5) By performing automatic book-classification, the automation of library operation can be completed.

Half a century has passed since the academic field of library and information science, which was born at the end of the 19th Century in the Western world, was introduced to Korea. Despite years of quantitative growth and qualitative maturation, the field has been facing the inconvenient truths of discrepancies in education levels arising from varying education providers, and weakened public confidence in librarian certification. Based on analysis of librarian training and education programs and the certification system, this research seeks to point out the limitations of the national librarian certification system, which is losing public confidence, and present a model for improvement. Library and information science education has expanded from universities to the academy of librarian education and lifelong education centers, and the librarian certification system has emerged as a target of reform. This research presents measures to improve the librarian certification system to government bodies and the Committee on Library and Information Policy with the purpose of providing grounds for policy enforcement.

This study discusses the library professionals' perception of the ICT Applications in engineering college libraries in Tamil Nadu. The relevant data was collected from the library professionals in the self financing engineering colleges situated in Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu. 625 questionnaires were distributed, 504 replied with a response rate of 80.64%. It was found that the respondents with experience 'Below 5 years'gave 'Lack of infrastructure' as the first priority. 'Lack of interest on the part of users' and 'No support from administration in training library professionals' were the second and third preferences indicated by the respondents. The least preferences were given for 'Fear of ICT application'. Similarly, respondents with experience '6-10 years' indicated 'No support from administration in training library professionals' as the first priority. The least preference was given for 'Inadequate training in ICT applications' by the above respondents. It can be inferred that the professionals accepted and need the training in ICT applications.

본 연구에서는 지식경영 및 지식공유의 개념적 정의에 대해 살펴보고 지식공유의 성공요인과 실패요인을 분석하고 있다. 이어서 조직구성원들이 지식공유에 대한 행태를 지식의 필요성 및 수집, 지식공유의도, 보상 및 평가체계, 의사소통채널 등으로 구분해서 조사ㆍ분석하고 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 조직구성원들의 원활한 지식공유문화를 정착하기 위한 기초자료로써 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

현대사회는 지식$\cdot$정보사회이며, 도서관은 지식과 정보가 전달되는 중요한 경로 중의 하나이다. 그렇지만 여러 가지 요인에 의해 도서관의 장서는 그 생산과 수집, 그리고 축적의 과정에서부터 편견과 왜곡으로 인한 굴절과 편향을 멀 수밖에 없었으며. 그것은 결과적으로 도서관이 현대사회의 지식$\cdot$정보의 유통기관으로서의 본질을 흐리게 만드는 주된 요인이 되어왔다. 이 연구는 장서연구의 필요성과 주요 해결 과제, 그리고 그 방법론에 대한 고찰이다. 장서 연구는 도서관장서의 축적 과정에 초점을 맞추어 그 장서가 편향성을 띠어 가는 과정을 추적하고 그 편향성의 현단계를 밝히는 작업이 그 출발점이 되어야 할 것이다.

In order to establish a digital-based use environment for the provision of new information services suitable for the 5G era, it is necessary to discuss the direction of service provision by the National Library of Children and Young Adults in the 5G era. Based on utilization services in other fields, library services in the 5G era, including the development and provision of employee education and training services, ultra-high-definition and 360-degree realistic contents and education on library use, provision of multi-dimensional realistic media streaming broadcasting services, provision of telepresence education programs, activation of virtual communities, implementation of hologram performance halls/exhibit centers, and provision of unmanned book delivery services, environment monitoring, safety monitoring, and customized services, were proposed. In addition, based on 5G service, 5G technology, and library application direction, advancing into a producing and supporting base for ultra-realistic and immersive contents in the 5G era, strengthening online and mobile services in the non-contact era, and establishing a smart library environment were proposed as the service provision direction for the National Library of Children and Young Adults in the 5G era.

이 연구는 서울시 공공도서관을 위한 정책과제를 발굴 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 거시적으로는 공공도서관 핵심지표를 이용하여 서울시와 글로벌 경쟁도시의 격차를 비교하고, 미시적으로는 공공도서관 인프라 및 서비스 지표를 중심으로 서울시 및 광역시도의 수준을 분석하였다. 이어 "2030 서울도시기본계획"과 "도서관 및 독서문화 활성화 종합계획"을 연계하여 공공도서관 정책을 평가하였다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 글로벌 지식문화 수도를 위한 브랜드화, 도서관 핵심역량 및 시스템의 선진화, 시민중심의 지식문화 생태계 조성, 시민의 서비스 만족도 및 기대편익 극대화를 서울시 공공도서관의 미래지향적 정책과제로 제시하였다.

본 연구에서는 지식관리시스템에 사용되는 의미형 한영 시소러스개발에 따른 개발방안과 원칙을 제시하였다. 기본적인 개발 방안은 1)용어 수집에 있어 디스크립터 추출의 정보원을 기존 문헌형태의 자료에서 내부문서와 웹에 등재된 외부문서 등도 포함하도록 하였다. 2)의미위주의 용어보다는 개념위주 의 디스크립터가 필요하며, 이를 보완하기 위해 전거어 사전의 구성이 필요함을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 용어풀을 운영할 것도 제시하였다. 3)디스크립터의 적정한 규모를 15,000개 내외로 제시하였다. 4)관계 설정은 수작업과 기계처리작업이 병행되는 하이브리드 방식을 제안하였다.

지식경영(Knowledge Management)의 중요성은 여러 측면에서 이루어지고 있는 이론 연구나 정부의 기업 경영혁신 시행 지침으로 지식경영을 주요한 도구로 하고 있는 데에서도 쉽게 찾아 볼 수 있다. 지식경영은 결국 지식의 순환과정, 즉 지식의 생성, 축적, 공유, 활용, 학습과정을 원활하게 촉진시켜서 기업내의 지적자산의 질과 양을 향상시켜 기업내의 많은 의사결정 문제를 효과적으로 해결하고자 하는 것이라고 정의되는데, 이러한 정의는 곧 전문도서관의 운영이론 및 철학과도 일치하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 기업이 이미 기업 내에 설치하고 있는 전문도서관을 활용하여 지식경영을 추진하기 위한 이론적 연구와 구체적 사례를 제시하고, 향후 전문도서관 기반의 지식경영 방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 특히 전문도서관의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 참고 정보봉사를 통하여 지식경영의 주요 요소인 지적자원과 인적 자원이 융합하며, 기업 문화가 활성화되는 사례를 소개한다. 본 연구는 향후 지식경영을 도입하고자 하는 기업에서 새로운 방식에 의한 지식경영 추진을 위한 의미있는 벤치마킹 자료가 될 것으로 판단한다.

이 연구에서는 도메인분석에 대해서 이론적으로 고찰함으로써 문헌정보학적 관점에서의 지식이론과 문헌정보학의 이론적 틀을 제시함과 동시에 문헌정보학의 연구방법론에 일반원칙을 제시하였다. 도메인분석에서 핵심적인 개념은 도메인을 구성하는 주제지식과 그 지식을 공유하는 담론 커뮤니티라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 도메인의 정의를 제시하고 도메인을 존재론적. 인식론적. 사회학적 차원에서 살펴보았으며, 도메인분석에서 이용할 수 있는 11가지 연구방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 도메인분석이 문헌정보학에서 가지는 함의를 사회-인지적 관점과 실용적 사실주의의 입장에서 검토하였다.
