기업의 사회적 자본, 지식경영활동, 그리고 성과 간의 구조적 인과관계 (A Structural Causal Relationship of Social Capital, Knowledge Management, and Organizational Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of knowledge management on the organizational performance by using structural equation model and to suggest new integrated framework about knowledge management by understanding the determinants of organizational capability to knowledge management in social capital point of view. To serve the purpose of this study, we conducted the extensive survey on 256 Korean companies in diverse industries including the manufacturing. Specifically, from the empirical result of this study, we identified that knowledge management performs more actively as the level of social capital increases, and the company that achieve knowledge management actively shows relatively higher performance than one that do not. On the other hand, among the sub-factors composing the social capital, Vision/Purpose/Value and Norms of Reciprocity directly affect to the organizational performance without knowledge management.

  • Individuals' knowledge does not transform easily into organizational knowledge even with the implementation of knowledge management system in travel agency. A prior research stream emphasizes voluntariness, as a critical factor in knowledge sharing, but pays little attention to its role. We employ theoretical framework and augment it with extrinsic variables, voluntariness of knowledge sharing that are believed to influence customer orientation and market performance of travel agency. Using data on travel agency employee, the authors find considerable results and conclude by discussing prescriptive recommendations for the travel industry.

예비교사의 TPACK 평가틀 개발과 TPACK 발달 저해 요인 분석 (Development of Pre-Service Teachers' TPACK Evaluation Framework and Analysis of Hindrance Factors of TPACK Development)

  • 이 연구는 한 교사 양성대학에서 40명의 예비교사를 대상으로 TPACK 발달을 위한 15주 교육프로그램을 개발하고, 예비교사의 TPACK의 실천적 역량을 평가하기 위한 TPACK 발달 평가틀을 개발하였다. 개발된 TPACK(Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) 발달 평가틀은 TPK(Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), TCK(Technological Content Knowledge), TPACK이 각각 0단계부터 4단계까지 5단계로 구성되었다. 이를 토대로 예비교사의 TPK, TCK, TPACK 수준을 평가한 결과, 대부분의 예비교사의 TPK, TCK, TPACK 수준은 일치하였으나, 일부 예비교사의 경우 TPK와 TCK가 일치하지 않았다. 이때 TPACK 수준은 TPK와 TCK 가운데 낮은 수준을 따르는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 TPACK 수준이 낮은 예비교사가 갖고 있는 TPACK 발달 저해요인을 조사한 결과, 학생의 자율적 학습 능력에 대한 불신, 학생의 상호작용 역량에 대한 불신, 학교 현장의 현실적 제약에 대한 인식 등이 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 실천적인 TPACK 발달을 위해서는 예비교사에게 균형잡힌 TPK와 TCK의 발달을 돕고, 예비교사가 갖고 있는 TPACK 발달 저해요인을 제거하는 교육 프로그램을 제공할 필요가 있다고 주장하였다.

  • 프로세스 기반의 지식경영이란 '업무 프로세스에 기반한 지식 운영체계를 갖추어 조직 내에 축적된 지식을 구성원들이 업무를 수행할 때 시스템 등을 통해 적절한 형태로 제공'하는 것이며, 조직에 구현되었을 때 업무 프로세스 측면과 지식 측면 모두에서 상당한 효과가 기대된다. 한판 Maier & Remus는 기존 지식경영 추진전략 목적에 조직전략 관점을 더하면, BPR이나 BPM과 같은 프로세스 관리 측면의 주요 목적과 일치한다는 점에 착안 프로세스 기반 지식경영 추진전략 프레임워크를 도출해냈다. 이를 노동부의 지식경영 추진사례에 적용해 도달수준을 진단한 결과, 지속적으로 제기되어 온 개선점과 문제점들을 해결해 나가기 위해 프로세스 기반 지식경영의 도입이 필요함을 밝혀내었고 이와 관련하여 향후 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다.

과학기술지식 생산과 공유를 위한 협력 유형분류체계 (A typology of Collaboration Modes for Scientific and Technological Knowledge Production and Sharing)

  • This paper suggests a typology of the modes of collaboration for scientific and technological knowledge production and sharing (STKPS) based on knowledge communication types, including organizational factors, communication channel, intensity, and decision-making, that affect STKPS processes. It is mainly designed to rearrange ideas about collaboration drawn from the literature in order to develop a conceptual framework for categorizing modes of collaboration based on how communication patterns shape four modes of collaboration. In the conclusion and discussion part, practical implications, limitations of this study, and further studies are discussed. In particular, the practical implications propose communication patterns suitable for five stages of collaboration processes. As the collaboration initiation or set-up stage is critical, extensive face-to-face communication is recommended in the auditing stage. In the execution stage, media-based communication can be actively utilized, because collaborators will mostly exchange explicit codified knowledge supported by IT. The evaluation and reinforcement stages concentrate on tacit knowledge exchange and explicit knowledge evaluation, which requires intensive face-to-face communication including negotiations for evaluating collaboration outcomes and partnership.

  • Incomplete knowledge instances may be registered from misidentifications of sensors, such as vision sensor. In previous study, we proposed robust object instance registration method to robot centered knowledge framework to guarantee the consistency of the registered knowledge. In real environment, a persistent update is necessary due to the objects can be moved dynamically. In this paper, we propose the way to update robot knowledge continually using the registration method. Our experiment in this paper shows that sound and complete knowledge can be registered and updated by the proposed method, even under imperfect sensing data.

KBE 기법이 적용된 설계 자원 웹 기반 통합에 관한 연구 (A Study on Web based Integration of Design Resources with a Knowledge Based Engineering Technique)

  • This paper presents an embodiment of design integration framework corresponding to changes in the latest manufacturing environment. The embodied system is named by 'WEB-KBE System' because it supports a product design with a KBE technique based on web environment. The final purpose of the work is to implement a web-based integration design environment with a KBE technique to support non-skillful designers. The framework of the system Is designed to support necessary items in user-centric design environment. Two case studies were applied to the WEB-KBE system to evaluate the efficiency, flexibility, extensibility, and reusability of the system. The examples are [1] CART integration design environment construction and (2) Exhaust Duct Saddle Support integration design environment construction. In the former case, it took a period of 8 months for modeling and implementation of the WEB-KBE prototype system. However, with the high extensibility and reusability of WEB-KBE system, the second case required only a period of one month for modeling and implementation of the system. We conclude that the presented WEB-KBE system can bring fair effects on implementing a knowledge based design environment in aspect of time and expense.

  • 본 논문에서는 의료용 전문가 시스템에 사용 가능한 의료지식을 수리논리적으로 표현하고 이에 대한 연역 및 진단추론을 행하는 방법을 제시하였다. 문제해결을 위해서는 연역추론을 행하며 원인의 규명을 위해서는 진단추론을 행하지만 일차논리 언어로 표현된 의료지식에서 두 종류의 추론을 병행할 수 있다. 그리고 의료지식에 자주 발생하는 시간에 따라 가변적인 결과의 추론방법도 함께 고찰하였다.

조직 내 분석지 생성 영향 요인에 관한 탐색적 사례 연구 (An Exploratory Case Study on the Factors Affecting the Analytical Knowledge Creation in the Organization)

  • There are two types of organizational knowledge in terms of its creation process: experiential and analytical knowledge. The experiential knowledge is created by repetitive experiences of an individual or team through task execution, while the analytical knowledge is acquired by analyzing accumulated data or information in the organization. The experiential knowledge often remains tacit or implicit in the organization because it is primarily acquired at an individual or team level. Therefore, the issue on the experiential knowledge is to share it actively within the organization. On the other hand, the analytical knowledge is explicit in its nature since it is extracted from data or information. Thus, it is important to guide a systematic creation of the analytical knowledge rather than encourage to share it. The current trend of "knowledge management" mainly focuses on the experiential knowledge - know-how, idea, case, etc - and neglects another important knowledge in the organization. i. e., analytical knowledge. This paper tries to shed a new light on the "knowledge management" arena by introducing rather new perspective in the concept of knowledge. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the analytical knowledge creation in the organization. We conducted an exploratory case study of three companies with a previously defined research framework and found some critical factors for the analytical knowledge creation. They are "organizational resource", "effectiveness of feedback process", "data source management", and "experimental mind set". Finally, we proposed research model and propositions regarding the analytical knowledge creation in the organization.
