This study is a survey research for adult men in their from 20's to 50's. The purpose of this study is to find out that demographic characteristic, material knowledge, and purchase price have what effect on the selection behavior and the post-purchase satisfaction. The results are as follows. The purchase place according to demographic characteristic showed the significant difference in ages, monthly income, and occupation. The purchase amount per a dress suit and the having quantity of dress suits showed the significant difference according to all demographic characteristics. The importance of an selective criteria in case of selecting dress suits showed the partly significant difference according to demographic characteristics. The post-purchase satisfaction showed the no significant difference according to demographic characteristics, but showed the significant difference according to the knowledge degree for materials and purchase amounts. The interaction effect among demographic characteristics, the degree of knowledge for materials, and the purchase amount showed frequently the significant difference between two variables. The factor which have most greatly an effect on post-purchase satisfaction of menswear was the degree of knowledge for materials.
Purpose - The study verified the effects of consumers' knowledge perception upon word-of-mouth intention and purchase intention of consumers who were exposed to a lot of information, and examined consumer's behavior from multi-dimensional points of view. Research design, data, and methodology - The study conducted the test of difference between consumer's cognition on importance and satisfaction of HMR product by gap of HMR (Home Meal Replacement) product for IPA analysis. The consumer's reliability and words-of-mouth were measured by the questionnaire method with 4 questions according to Likert 7-point scale. Conversion into z-score removed the difference of variables. Results - The causal relation model for importance, satisfaction and gap, not relying upon multi-dimensional scaling and others, could construct causal relation model to give implications. Difference (d) of the products could lessen consumer's reliability to increase consumer's knowledge perception, word-of-mouth intention, knowledge perception, and purchase intention. Therefore, enterprises should make an effort to lessen consumers' complaint for the products and to elevate consumers' reliability. Enterprises also try to give consumers exact information and to promote purchase intention. Conclusions - Difference (d) of consumers' complaint and/or disappointment decreased consumers' reliability to increase knowledge perception. Enterprises should supply consumers with products according to their requirements to minimize the gap and to give them proper information.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of age, sex, and friendship type on child's shared knowledge of a friend. The following hypotheses were raised; Child's shared knowledge of friend would increase with age, shared knowledge of girls would be higher than that of boys shared knowledge of girls would be higher than that of boys shared knowledge in a mutual friendship would be higher than in a unilateral friendship, there would be an interaction effect between age and friendship type in child's shared knowledge of friend. The subjects of this study consisted of 80 boys and girls, 8- and 11-year-olds. Shared knowledge of a friend was measured with a modified version of the 70 picture items developed by Ladd and Emerson (1984). The obtained data were analyzed by three-way ANOVA. Child's shared knowledge of a friend increased with age. Girls exhibited greater ORSK (other-referenced shared knowledge) than did boys, but there was no significant difference between girls and boys in SRSK (the selfreferenced shared knowledge). Mutual friendships exhibited greater SRSK than did unilateral friendships, but there was no significant difference between mutual friendship and unilateral friendship in ORSK. There was a significant interaction effect between age and friendship type in child's shared knowledge of friend.
The purposes of this study were (1) to investigate the differences in the level of children's knowledge and reasoning skills due to the sloping phenomenon according to their ages and the types of tasks they were asked to perform, and (2) to investigate whether children's prior knowledge is changed to post knowledge through their reasoning. A total of 120 subjects, forty from each of the age groups 4, 6 and 8 were selected for the study. The major findings are presented below : 8-year old children showed higher levels of prior knowledge than 6-year old children. The prior knowledge level of the "size" task was higher than that of the "weight" task. 6-and 8-year old children showed higher levels of reasoning than 4-year old children. The reasoning level of the "size" task was higher than that of the "weight" task. 6-and 8-year old children showed higher levels of post knowledge than 4-year old children. However, there was no difference in children's post knowledge according to task difference. Through the different types of reasoning involved in the children's performances of the two tasks, changes in the prior knowledge of the sloping phenomenon were observed among all age groups.
This study was carried out to investigate the level of nutritional knowledge dietary behavior and nutrient intakes of rural housewives and to analyze the relationship among each other. The data for this study collected by the interview with questionnaire in 1990 from the 303 rural housewives of 13 districts and 3 cities in Chunbuk province sampled by random sampling method. Statistics used in analysis were frequency, proportion, X2-test and statistical significance was tested at 0.05 level. The main results of the study were summairzed as follows : 1) Nutritional knowledge score of rural housewives was higher, in young age group than in old group and in high income group than in low income. 2) There were not the significant difference between the dietary behavior of the rural housewives and their nutritional knowledge score. 3) As the nutritional knowledge score of the subjects was higher nutrient intakes level of calcium and iron were higher, however, there were not the significant difference between the nutritional knowledge score and nutrient intakes levels of energy, protein and fat respectively. 4) As the level of meal management were high, only protein intake among various nutrients was increased. There were not the significant difference between the nutrient intakes and their food habits.

The purpose of this study were to suggest the method of sex education by designing and implementing multimedia program about sex education, to search the efficiency between a teaching using multimedia program and a teaching of traditional method. To put above aims into practice, these were required : 1. are there any differences in the alteration of sex attitude according to teaching methods. 2. are there any differences in the completion of sex knowledge according to teaching methods. 3. are there any differences in the alteration of sex attitude according to learning level and teaching methods. 4. are there any differences in the completion of sex knowledge according to learning level and teaching methods. 5. are there any differences in the alteration of sex attitude according to sex and teaching methods. 6. are there any differences in the completion of sex knowledge according to sex and teaching methods. To carry out a reseach for this purpose, the subjects for this study were 160 sixth grade students from 2 elementary schools in Pu-Chun, Kyung Ki. The tools for study were two kind of questionnaires: sex knowledge test, sex attitude test. Each test consists of 20 items. Collected data was analysed with t-test by means of SPSS program. The main results of this study are as follow: 1. The Alteration of sex attitude according to teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods(P<.001). a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the alteration of sex attitude. 2. The Completion of sex knowledge according to teaching methods. There was a significant difference among teaching methods(P<.001). a teaching using multimedia program was more efficient than a teaching of traditional method in the completion of sex knowledge. 3. BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Dietary behavior and life stress in adolescence is related to growth rate and learning ability. This study was conducted to identify the relations between dietary habits, dietary attitude nutritional knowledge and life stress among high school girls in Korea and China. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The subjects of this study were 221 high school girls in Korea and 227 high school girls in China. The questionnaire were about dietary habits, dietary attitude, nutritional knowledge and life stress. RESULTS: The dietary habits of chinese girls were healthier than those of Korean girls with a significant difference (P < .001). There was no significant difference in dietary attitude between Korean girls and Chinese girls. Korean girls had more nutritional knowledge than Chinese girls with a significant difference (P < .001). Korean girls did less physical exercise but spent more time watching TV and using PCs, compared to Chinese girls. Korean girls' degree of confidence in nutrition information that they had learned and their performance in their real lives were low. Also, they had a low level of awareness of the need for nutritional education. There was no significant difference in life stress between the two groups. Dietary habits had a significantly negative correlation with life stress in both Korean and Chinese girls (P < .01, P < .001). As for Chinese students, dietary attitude had a negative correlation with life stress with a significant difference (P < .05). As for Korean girls, nutritional knowledge had a negative correlation with life stress with a significant difference (P < .05), which means as life stress was less, dietary habits were better. CONCLUSIONS: This study shows that effective nutrition education programs should include components that encourage application of learned nutrition information to real life, increase physical exercise and reduce life stress.
This study was made to provide basic materials required to develop the program for desirable change of eating behavior which might be regarded as the aim of nutrition education. In this study, the relationship between the factors known to be affecting eating behavior like nutrition knowledge and dietary self efficacy was examined with high grade elementary students in Gangwon Province. The results are as follows; First, positive relationship was observed with significant difference(p<0.001) in the relationships between eating behavior and dietary self efficacy(r=0.465), between nutrition knowledge level and eating behavior(r=0.216) and between nutrition knowledge level and dietary self efficacy(r=0.312). Second, the ratio explaining the effect of dietary self efficacy and nutrition knowledge on eating behavior was 22.3%, and it affected in the order of significance level such that dietary self efficacy(p<0.001) and nutrition knowledge level(p<0.05). Third, the level of desirable eating behavior was consistent with the level of nutrition knowledge. And the scores of nutrition knowledge were $28.97{\pm}4.66$ for 'poor' group, $30.01{\pm}3.85$ for 'normal' group, $31.13{\pm}3.94$ for 'good' group and $31.75{\pm}4.10$ for 'excellent' group. When the scores of eating behavior was considered in accordance with the level of nutrition knowledge, there was difference between the groups with poor and normal scores and the groups with good and excellent scores(p<0.001), however, there was no difference between poor and normal group, and between good and excellent group. Fourth, it was found that dietary self efficacy affected the eating behavior level by level. The eating behavior score was $23.82{\pm}5.25$ for the poor dietary self efficacy group, $26.88{\pm}4.00$ for the normal group, $30.27{\pm}3.66$ for the good group and $32.81{\pm}3.79$ for the excellent group. It showed that as the degree of dietary self efficacy increased the degree of eating behavior increased in all four groups (p<0.001).
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between early childhood teacher's knowledge and protective practice on safety. The study subjects were 312 early childhood teachers working at kindergartens and day care centers in Seoul, Kyung-gi area. A modified questionnaire was based on that developed by Nam(2002). Data were analysed by t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlations. The results were as follows. First, there was a small but insignificant difference for safety knowledge in the teachers' teaching experiences, and working place, but no difference in attending safety education. Second, there were differences for safety practices in teaching experiences and working place. Third, teachers' safety knowledge was highly and positively correlated with safety practices. In conclusion, enhanced early childhood teacher' safety knowledge is needed for improved safety practice.

The purpose of this survey was to study nutrition knowledge, dietary attitude, residences and purpose value of meal in the college freshmen. The survey was conducted from May 1 to May 25 in 1997. The results are summarized as follows. The female students showed higher scores than male students in nutrition knowledge score, but there was no difference in dietary attitude. Dietary attitude of the students living in home were higher than that of the other students. Female students tended to choose food for the pleasure of its taste. On female students, no difference was founded on nutrition knowledge and dietary attitude with purpose value of meal. The male students who have purpose value of meal on intake of nutrients showed the highest score in nutrition knowledge.
