A Conceptual Framework for Value Co-creation in an Innovation Ecosystem: The Case of Technology-based Collaboration Network

  • Innovation Cosystems are Conceptualized as Organizational Networks of Economic Actors, Technologies and Social Contexts that Interact for Knowledge Production, use, and Adaptation. This Paper Proposed a Conceptual Framework to Describe Value Co-creation of Organizational Networks Engaged in Technology Innovation. We Adopted Theory-Based Approach by Integrating the Perspective of Service-Dominant (S-D) Logic Into the Evolutionary Model of the Triple Helix. The Framework Gives a Plausible Explanation on how Actors Collaborate to Create Value in Dynamic Contexts of an Innovation Ecosystem. The Innovation Ecosystem can be Considered as a Composite of Sub-Ecosystems, Including Knowledge, Sectoral, and Business Ecosystems. When these Sub-Ecosystems are Recursively Transformed by Coordination of Functional Mechanisms that Serve Value Co-creation in the Innovation Process, the Innovation Ecosystem will be Re-Organized and Evolve. The case of the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) was Examined to Demonstrate the Fundamental Mechanisms for Value Co-creation that was Described in the Framework. The case Study Indicates Features of Value Co-creation when Implementing Innovation in Organizational Networks.

Efficient Proof of Vote Validity Without Honest-Verifier Assumption in Homomorphic E-Voting

  • Vote validity proof and verification is an efficiency bottleneck and privacy drawback in homomorphic e-voting. The existing vote validity proof technique is inefficient and only achieves honest-verifier zero knowledge. In this paper, an efficient proof and verification technique is proposed to guarantee vote validity in homomorphic e-voting. The new proof technique is mainly based on hash function operations that only need a very small number of costly public key cryptographic operations. It can handle untrusted verifiers and achieve stronger zero knowledge privacy. As a result, the efficiency and privacy of homomorphic e-voting applications will be significantly improved.

  • This study deals with the application of knowledge-engineering and a methodology for the assessment & measurement of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of industrial systems using fault-tree representation. A fuzzy methodology for fault-tree evaluation seems to be an alternative solution to overcome the drawbacks of the conventional approach(insufficient information concerning the relative frequences of hazard events). To improve the quality of results, the membership functions must be approximated based on heuristic considerations. The purpose of this Is to describe the knowlwdge engineering approach, directed to integrate the various sources of knowledge involved in a FTA.

  • In the human cognitive activity, experiencing plays a basic role. This is modeled by the idea of experience sequence here, which has been proposed by the author for the incorporation of the factor of experiencing in man-machine communication. Experience sequence is for modeling the human concept formation through experiencing. Knowledge manipulation requires concept understanding as its basis. An experience sequence deals with such a process of concept formation.

  • Many organizations are currently adjusting the statistical forecasts with qualitative factors. However, so for a few forecasting system with adjustment process have been developed. They have difficulties in managing knowledge and estimating the quantity of adjustment. In this study, the forecasting support system adopting the frame based knowledge representation and containing the decision making scheme for adjustment is proposed to overcome these difficulties. According to the experiments, the proposed system improves the forecasting performance on gasoline case.

  • In cases where strong a priori knowledge about the object being analyzed is available, it can be embedded into the formulation of the snake model. When prior knowledge of shape is available for a specific application, information concerning the shape of the desired objects can be incorporated into the formulation of the snake model as an active contour model. In this paper we show Five points algorithm can be applied to design invariant energy.

  • 사회적 자본과 관련한 기존의 연구들은 주로 사회적 자본이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 규명해 왔다. 그러나 이러한 선행연구들은 사회적 자본이 혁신성과에 어떠한 단계를 거쳐 영향을 미치는가에 관한 중간과정을 블랙박스(black box)로 가정하고 있다. 지식기반관점에 따르면 혁신은 상호의존 관계에 있는 행위자들 간의 지식의 교환과정의 결과로써 가능할 수 있다. 다른 의미로, 혁신창출은 사회적 자본과 같은 무형자원이 구성원 간의 지식관리 활동을 유발하게 되고, 이러한 지식관리 활동은 혁신창출의 원동력이 된다. 그리고 혁신달성을 통한 관계만족이 지속적인 관계투자를 가능하게 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 사회적 자본에서 출발하여 관계투자로 이어지는 연구가설을 설정하였다. 실증분석의 결과를 살펴보면, 혁신 성과에 미치는 지식공유의 영향을 제외하고, 모든 설정된 가설은 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 혁신 성과 달성은 중소기업에게 관계만족을 증가시켜 지속적인 관계투자를 가져오는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 경영전략 측면에서 기업의 지식관리 활동의 중요성을 제시하고 있다.

정보보호 전문인력의 경력에 따른 지식 및 기술 수요 특성 (Considering Information Security Professionals' Career to Analyze Knowledge and Skills Requirements)

  • 정보보호에 대한 인식이 제고되면서 정보보호 인력의 효율적인 양성 및 관리에 대한 다양한 연구가 수행되었다. 효율적인 인력양성을 위해서는 정보보호 인력이 직무수행을 위해 갖추어야 할 지식 및 기술 요구사항을 파악하여 교육프로그램의 개발 및 운영에 반영하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 문헌고찰 및 델파이 방법을 통하여 정보보호 분야의 71개 요소 지식 및 기술을 도출하고 정보보호 전문인력을 대상으로 요소 지식 및 기술에 대한 필요정도 및 숙련정도를 조사하여, 정보보호 전문인력의 업무 경력에 따라 상대적으로 중요한 지식 및 기술을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 정보보호 전문인력의 경력 개발 단계별로 신규 교육 및 재교육이 필요한 요소 지식 및 기술을 제시함으로써, 산업체 및 교육기관에서 정보보호 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 운영할 때 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

사서로봇을 위한 정보구조화 공간과 환경지능 시스템 (Information Structured Space and Ambient Intelligent Systems for a Librarian Robot)

  • Visions of ubiquitous robotics and ambient intelligence involve distributing information, knowledge, computation over a wide range of servers and data storage devices located all over the world, and integrating tiny microprocessors, actuators, and sensors into everyday objects as well in order to make them smart. In this paper, we introduce our ongoing research effort aimed at realizing ubiquitous robots in an information structured space. For this, a ubiquitous space and ambient intelligent systems for a librarian robot are introduced and the RFID technology based approach for these systems is described.
