  • Social manufacturing architecture is based on information delivery through social media and SNS, PLM and social platform, crowd source and knowledge base on whole phase of product life cycle. Although advanced social manufacturing issues are rising globally, its technology emerging into domestic industry is likely to be slow. We focused to review technological changes and R&D trend, patent issues, and then suggest assignments and advices to be practiced for social manufacturing modeling.

  • Inference rules of the knowledge base, generated by experts or optimization, may be often inconsistent and incomplete. This paper suggests a systematic and automatic method which extracts inference rules not from experts' subject but from data. First, input/output linguistic variables are partitioned into several properties by the fuzzy equalization algorithm and each combination of their properties comes to premise of inference rule. Then, the conclusion which is the mast suitable for the premise is selected by evaluating consistent measure. This method, automatically from data, derives inference rules from experience. It is shown through application that extracts new inference rules between hull dimensions and hull performance.

  • Cross-lingual text retrieval(CLTR) is the information retrieval in which a user tries to search a set of documents written in one language for a query another language. This thesis proposes a CLTR system based on fuzzy multilingual thesaurus to handle a partial matching between terms of two different languages. The proposed CLTR system uses a fuzzy term matrix defined in our thesis to perform the information retrieval effectively. In the defined fuzzy term matrix, all relation degrees between terms are inferred from using the transitive closure algorithm to reflect all implicit links between terms into processing of the information retrieval. With this framework, the CLTR system proposed in our thesis enhances the retrieval effectiveness because it is able to emulate a human expert's decision making well in CLTR.

  • This paper proposed the alarm processing system to improve the efficiency of monitoring method by applying the neural network and troubleshooting knowledge base for IADAPS(Intelligent Alarm Diagnosis And Processing System) method in an receiving and distributing board of Building complex. This IADAPS is abased on the cumulative generalized delta rule of backpropagation in neural network. It was used to infer the minimum alarms among multi-fired alarms, and the inferred alarm can be displayed maintenance information of facility by using a pre-defined troubleshoot knowledge base. For validating the proposed monitoring method, he method of simulation used to the five case of virtual scenario. As comparison results, a proposed method in this paper could be proved the applied possibility of an neural network and utilized in fields of facilities maintenance, if needed, be operated by non-expertise.

  • This paper deals with the development of an expert process design system interfaced with CAD for porismatic parts in injection mold manufacture. The developed CAD/CAPP system consists of two modules such as CAD interface module and process design module. Parts are represented using AutoCAD system on the IBM PC/AT. CAD interface module recognizes form features and manufacturing features of the part using form feature recognition algorithm and manufacturing feature recognition rule base. Process design module selects operations and determines machine tools, cutting tools and operation sequencing by using knowledge base which is acquired from expert process planners. A case study is implemented to evaluate feasibilities of the function of the proposed system. The CAD/CAPP system can improve the efficiency of process design activities and reduce the time required for process design.

  • 연소 가공은 고품질 고정도를 필요로 하는 경우 매우 유효한 가공방법이지만 그 공정이 많은 Parameter에 의해 구성되기 때문에 동일한 조건에서도 정량적인 평가가 어려우므로 작업현장 에서는 과학적 원리와 공학적 지식 보다는 숙련자의 경험과 기능에 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 국면에 대처한 문제 해결을 위해 Computer가 인간사고에 근접 할 수 있도록 Fuzzy 이론과 Default 이론을 도입하고 전문가의 이론적 지식과 숙련자의 감각적 지식을 적극 수용 하여 연소용 Expert system (최적 가공 조건의 설정 System과 Trouble shooting system)을 개발하였다. 또한 연소 가공 Data의 불확실한 애매성을 효과적으로 이용 할 수 있도록 Fuzzy 가능성이론에 의해 가공 Datad을 회귀 분석하여 실가공 Data base에 축적시켜 재활용토록 설계하었으며 개발된 본 System 의 실행 결과 그 활용성이 높음을 입증하였다.

  • An expert system is developed which can diagnose the causes and remedies of the failures of power transmission gears. The basic components of the expert system are knowledge base, inference engine, and working memory. The knowledges in knowledge base are classified into the knowledges for determining the failure types and for diagnosis of causes and remedies of the failures. The former is represented hierarchically into the main category of eleven groups by rules and the sub category of twenty four groups by facts, while the later is represented by facts according to the each group of knowledges. In the inference engine some considerations are implemented, i.e., the backward chaining method and depth first search to determine the category of the failures, the meta-knowledges to shorten the search space, the certainty factor to evaluate the reliability of result, and the unification strategy to diagnose the causes and remedies of the failures. The working memory is established to hold the results during inference temporarily. In addition, knowledge acquisition facility, explanation facility, and user interface are included for the usefulness of user. This expert system is written with the PROLOG programming language on IBM-PC compatible computer operated by MS-DOS and be executed alone.

  • In general many engineers can diagnose the fault condition using the abnormal ones among data monitored from a diesel engine, but they don't need the system modelling or identification for the work. They check the abnormal data and the relationship and then catch the fault condition of the engine. This paper proposes the construction of a fault diagnosis engine through malfunction data gained from the data fault detection system of neural networks for diesel generator engine, and the rule inference method to induce the rule for fuzzy inference from the malfunction data of diesel engine like a site engineer with a fuzzy system. The proposed fault diagnosis system is constructed in the sense of the Malfunction Diagnosis Engine(MDE) and Hierarchy of Malfunction Hypotheses(HMH). The system is concerned with the rule reduction method of knowledge base for related data among the various interactive data.

  • This paper describes an expert system for soldiers psychology diagnosis. In the field warfare, platoon leaders or company commanders have to diagnose his soldier's condition correctly. The expert systems, a field of artificial intelligence, can be appropriate approach for ill-structured paradigm. This use an UNIK system. This UNIK system is composed of UNIK-FRAME, UNIK-BWD, UNIK-WBI, UNIK-INDUCE and UNIK-Interface. Especially, UNIK-WBI system is very useful to display soldiers psychology diagnosis and so easy to use it. Any leader or commander can easily do this. This paper data is based on DSMIV. Through This expert system, combat power can be kept and accidents be protected.
