This paper proposed the 2-D Finite Element analysis method taking into end-ring of squirrel cage induction motor. Secondary conductor resistance can be simply replaced new one considering end-ring resistance. In the case of 2-D FEM, the end-ring resistance is hard to condsider. And the results without considering end-ring resistance have an error. To verify the proposed method we compared the analysis results and test ones.

현재 안드로이드 마켓에 등록된 고혈압을 주제로 개발 된 앱 들의 경우 혈압 데이터를 안드로이드 단일 환경에서만 관리 하였다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하여 본 연구는 스마트폰과 IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) 두 개의 다른 환경에서 고혈압환자 스스로가 혈압을 편리하게 관리 할 수 있도록 스마트폰 앱을 개발하여 데이터를 복수의 환경에서 관리 하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

스마트폰을 접할 수 있는 다양한 연령대와 계층이 있지만, 사회적으로 소수에 해당하는 장애인과 노약자 등에 대한 서비스를 제공하는 애플리케이션(application)은 많지 않은 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 그 중에서 장애인을 대상으로 하는 애플리케이션을 설계 하였으며, 스마트폰을 이용하여 제공하는 방법에 대해서 설명하였다.

1. Objectives: The purpose of this case is to report the effects of Onbaek-won which is based on Sasang Constitutional Medicine for constipation in Soeumin. 2. Methods: We treated two Soeumin patients with Constipation. We prescribed Onbaek-won for their physical symptoms. The improvement of their diseases were checked from their stool and other physical symptoms. 3. Results: After the Sasang constitutional medication of Onbaek-won were given, constipation and their physical symptoms were improved. 4. Conclusions: This case study show an efficient result of using Onbaek-won in constipation of Soeumin. Onbaek-won was used instead of Semen Tiglii(巴豆).

lridology, a form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), is the diagnosis of medical conditions through noting irregularities of the pigmentation in the iris. lridological constitution has a strong familial aggregation and is implicated in heredity. Apolipoprotein E (apoE) gene polymorphism is one of the most well studied genetic markers of vascular disease. I investigated the relationship between iridological constitution and apoE polymorphism. I classified 87 hypertensive patients with family history of cerebral infarction and 79 controls according to iris constitution, and determined apoE genotype. Neurogenic type in hypertensives was 32.2% compared with 16.5% in controls (P<0.001). No differences in the apoE genotypes frequencies were observed in patients compared with those in controls ($x^2=0.726$, df-=2, P=0.696). However, in a population with ${\varepsilon}3/{\varepsilon}4$ genotype, the frequency of neurogenic constitution was significantly higher in hypertensives than in controls (60% vs. 0%) ($x^2=5.265$, df=l, P=0.022). These results could imply that apoE ${\varepsilon}3/{\varepsilon}4$ genotype and neurogenic iris constitution are risk factors for hypertension.

From the benzene soluble parts of Dystaenia takeshimana Kitagawa which is indigenous to Korea, three furanocoumarins have been isolated and identified as psoralen, xanthotoxin and dimethylsuberosin.

Bergenin was isolated from the ethylacetate fraction of the rhizomes of Astilbe divaricata. The structure of bergenin was identified by IR, UV, NMR, mass spectra and compared with the authentic sample.
