산업 - 세계의 민수용 헬기 소개(2) - SA 330 Puma

  • 프랑스 쉬드 아비아시옹(Sud Aviation)이 프랑스 육군의 요구에 부응하기 위해 제작한 SA 330 푸마는 지금도 가장 성공적인 유럽제 다목적 범용헬기로 평가받고 있다. 현재 우리나라 KAI에서 개발 중인 KUH 수리온도 따지고 보면 AS 330을 그 기원으로 하고 있다. 1968년부터 1987년까지 697대가 생산됐고 IAR 330, Atlas Oryz 등 해외 면허생산은 물론 유러콥터(Eurocopter) AS 332 개발에 밑거름이 된 SA 330에 대해 소개한다.

  • This paper deals with the economic effects for the Surion(KUH-1) research and development program. The economic effects was measured by Inter-industry analysis method for production-inducing effects, value-added inducement effects, and job-creation effects and by estimating actual domestic input cost. In addition, technical riffle effects was analyzed for aerospace industry, defense industry and commercial industry market through similarity and contribution of technology.

  • A bacterium producing unique antistaphylococcal substance (ASS) was isolated from soil samples. The isolated strain KUH-001 was identified to belong to Pseudomonas species from the characteristic properties of its fluorescence and cellular 3-hydroxy fatty acid composition, etc. The ASS component was purified by procedures employing activated carbon adsorption, column chromatography with silica gel, preparative TLC and HPLC. This compound could also be purified mainly by repeating of trituration and precipitation with chilled ether. Purified ASS with a m.p. value of $140~142^{\circ}C$ showed marked stability at high temperature (at $121^{\circ}C$ for 10 min) and extreme pHs (in 1N HC1 and 1N NaOH for 1 day) without significant loss of antibiotic activity. From spectral data of UV, IR, NMR, and FAB-MS, the compound was elucidated as 2-heptyl-4-hydroxyquinoline N-oxide (HHQO). Under the conditions employed, HHQO exhibited a narrow antimicrobial spectrum. active particularly against Staphylococcus aureus including the methicillin resistant strain. Moreover, it did not induce resistance, and besides, interacted synergistically with certain antibiotics such as vancomycin or erythromycin.

  • Rapid turning and accelerated movement of a rotorcraft leads to the slosh and vibration effect of fuel in the fuel tank. Due to the slosh load, the internal component of a fuel tank can be broken and fuel tank skin can be damaged. This is directly related to human survivability. Military specification(MIL-DTL-27422D) requires the verification of the stability of aircraft fuel tank and internal component against slosh & vibration load through the qualification test. This report shows the establishment of slosh and vibration test facility and KUH fuel tank qualification test result.

  • Avionics system tends to be designed to have the integrated architecture, and it is getting difficult and complex to verify the flight-critical function because of sophisticated structure. In Korean Utility Helicopter, mission computer acts as the MUX Bus Controller to handle the data from both communication, identification, mission/display and survivability equipment inside Mission Equipment Package and aircraft subsystems such as fuel system and electrical system while it is interfacing with Automatic Flight Control System and Full-Authority Digital Engine Control via ARINC-429 bus. The Flight Displays which is classified as flight-critical function in aircraft is implemented on Primary Flight Display after mission computer processes data from AFCS in order to generate graphics. This paper defines the flight-critical function implemented in mission computer for KUH, and presents the static and dynamic test procedures which is performed on System Integration Laboratory along with Playback Recorder prior to flight test.

  • This paper contains a review of problems in the localized blade manufacturing process through KUH program and research for improvement of it. Contrary to development, mass production needs reliable process due to the long period of supply. The main process of blade manufacturing(Lay-Up, Curing) accepts new equipment(Robot, Heatmold) for improvement of it. And then, the evaluation is performed. Additionally, it is proven that blade which is made by the new process is suitable for mass production by conducting a performance test in the development phase.

  • Integrated data processing for display of flight critical data and mission critical data was conducted without additional display instruments using glass cockpit design. Based on a pre-designed flight critical system and a mission critical system, this paper shows an optimal design of subsystem integration. The design satisfies safety requirements of flight control systems(FCS) and requires minimized modification of pre-designed systems. By conducting integration test using System Integration laboratory(SIL), it is confirmed that the introduced design approach meets the safety requirements of the MEP system.

  • Annual variation of the surface mixed layer depth (MLD) in the southern part of the Sea of Japan is investigated based upon the oceanographic and meteorological data taken during 1971∼1975 by the Fisheries Research and Development Agency and the Central Meteorological Office of Korea. It is found that the variation of the MLD is strongly correlated with the heat exchange between the atmosphere and sea. The MLD and heat flux vary within ranges comparable to those in the Kuroshio region found by Bathen(1972) and Wyrtki(1965)

  • Nowaday, our life is closely related to temperature and the humidity. To control the temperature and the humidity have pursued the comfort environment. We develop that form ware is controled temperature and humidity that used the ATmega128. We embody home-automation system to use the ATmega128, temperature sensor, LCD, relay device and peltier device.
