A Study on Brand Awareness and Service Quality (브랜드 인지도와 서비스 품질에 관한 연구)

  • Upon the basis at the end of March 2005, we have the 38.91 million cellular phone subscribers over the country and the total diffusion rate of the cellular phone is reached up to 76.1%. At this moment, it can be said the most people use it since the demand is still going on. Turning to the operation company, this is serviced by the SK Telecom, LG Telecom, and KTF, and there are at least 7 manufactures producing it including Samsung, LG, KTF ever, Motorola, SKY, Pantac and Curitel, Most users periodically change the service vendor to the others for buying new model or changing the service vendor. It is understood the customer's action occurred by the differences of the brand cognition. In this study, along with some parameters including the difference of the vendor's brand cognition, difference of satisfaction (mobile telecommunication, product), and the possibility to buy the product again, I am going to find out the relationship between the satisfaction of the provider's service

  • 3G 이동통신 시스템 표준화 단체인 3GPP ($3^{rd}$ Generation Partnership Project)와 3GPP2 ($3^{rd}$ Generation Partnership Project 2)는 이동통신망에서의 무선 IP 멀티미디어 서비스 확산을 위하여 유선 인터넷의 핵심 응용 서비스인 실시간 서비스를 도입하기 위한 표준화 작업을 진행하고 있다. 그리고, 현재 개발 중인 HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access)와 IMS (IP Multimedia CN Subsystem)는 궁극적으로 All IP 기반 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 추구하고 있으며 Parlay API(Application Programming Interface)를 이용한 다양한 $3^{rd}$ party 응용서비스 제공 환경을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 고에서는 HSDPA 및 IMS를 포괄하는 All IP관련 표준화 현황을 조사하고 나아가 IMS와 HSDPA 기반 서비스 진화에 대한 고찰을 통해 향후 이동통신 서비스의 개발 방향을 예측해 보고자한다.

  • In CDMA based mobile communication network, signaling messages are routed through Signaling Transfer Point(STP) which is responsible for MTP layer 3 switching. As WCDMA based UMTS network is considered as next generation technology allowing global roaming services, all nodes in networks have their own identity number called Global Title(GT). Therefore, it is essential to introduce Signaling Gateway(SG) responsible for SCCP layer switching to solve the problem each node has all GT tables including even all overseas nodes. In this paper, we propose the signaling network architecture in UMTS networks using SG and we show that we can reduce CAPEX and OPEX in each node. To show the validity of the proposed method some simulations are given in which the results can be expected by intuitive observation.

  • This paper describes technical method about remote control and monitoring of local system by use personal mobile device in anytime and anywhere. Therefore, the user don't need to stay in operation room of local system. The PC server environment for the mobile connection are constructed with Apache web server, PHP and MySQL ODBC. The mobile internet homepage for the remote mobile connection is designed by Anybuilder software and mobile simulator, Openwave SDK 6.2 is used for the development. The mobile internet program can be applicate to all of domestic communication companies LGT, SKT and KTF. We use KTF mobile contains WAP browser for the test. We used NI Labview software to control and monitoring of local system. The local system, which will be controlled remotely have constructed with analog/digital signal acquisition device, signal control board and their software. By experiments, we confirmed remote control by mobile device are possible.

  • 유럽진영을 중심으로 이미 시장활성화에 접어든 비동기식 3G서비스인 WCDMA. 국내에서도 SK텔레콤과 KTF가 서비스하고 있지만 이런저런 이유로 투자를 미뤄오면서 두 사업자 합쳐 가입자 5000명 수준에 머물고 있다. WCDMA가 기존 EVDO 서비스 대비 장점이 미약했기 때문이다. 그러나 내년부터 상황은 달라질 전망이다. WCDMA보다 5배 이상 속도가 빠른 HSDPA가 떠오르고 있기 때문이다.
