In this paper, introduction and developing guide to the online submission and peer review system is studied. Such system must provides fare and fast review of drafted papers. In addition, the publication of accepted papers by reviewers is quick and easy. Today, Some societies use KISTI-ACOM which is supplied freely by KISTI(Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information) and some other societies develop and use their own system in Korea. It is sure that each system will be improved and developed further. Based on the consideration about a typical peer review and publication in online submission system, the guideline of online submission and peer review system is suggested in this paper.

Information on and knowledge of science and technology in the knowledge-based society can be a valuable natural resource and a source of competitive advantage for a country. In addition, in conducting research and developing technologies, information on and knowledge of science and technology is becoming increasingly important and customer's needs are becoming more diverse. This study thus aims to propose appropriate strategies for effectively coping with needs of those customers who use such knowledge and information by actively reflecting a broad diversity of customer' needs and comments. Using such strategies, we developed a standardized and integrated helpdesk system to enhance the quality of customer support and other services, customer monitoring service, and customer satisfaction.

과학 응용 분야에서 생성되는 대규모의 데이터를 빠른 시간 내에 효율적으로 처리해야 할 필요성이 대두 되면서 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 주목받고 있다. 하둡(Hadoop)은 대규모 데이터 처리 분석을 위한 소프트웨어 프레임워크를 제공하는 아파치의 오픈소스 프로젝트로서 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 대표적인 기술로서 널리 사용되고 있다. 특히, 하둡은 높은 확장성과 성능을 제공하면서 결함 탐지와 자동 복구 기능이 우수하여 과학 기술 분야에서도 점차적으로 도입 및 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 하둡을 이용하여 천문 응용 분야에서 생성되는 대규모 데이터를 분석하기 위한 방법을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서 관심을 가지는 천문 응용 데이터는 대략 천만개의 작은 크기의 관측 데이터를 처리해야 하지만, 하둡은 대규모 데이터 처리에 특화되어 있어서 많은 개수의 작은 크기를 가지는 관측데이터 처리에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 천문 응용 데이터 처리를 위한 입출력 파일을 하둡에서 제공하는 특수화된 데이터 구조를 이용하여 압축하였고, 천문 응용 실행 코드가 하둡에서 실행이 가능하도록 맵리듀스 작업으로 랩핑하여 구현하였다.

As a Korean national institute, KISTI has assigned and deposited DOIs to use Korean journals internationally as well as to enlarge the citation all over the world. In addition, KISTI has provided the service, Cited-by linking, which is to identify the citation among journals. In the paper, we would like to propose the way to expand the citation, finding the result of citation by using Cited-by linking based on DOIs in CrossRef for Scientific and technical journals deposited by KISTI.

나노기술은 특정의 기술 영역에 속하는 것이 아닌, 나노크기 수준의 물질(소재)이나 부품 또는 소자, 시스템(기계) 등 거의 모든 기술 영역과 관련되어 있는, 응용의 성격이 강한 기술이다. 나노기술 개발 수준은 국가 간, 혹은 기업 간의 경쟁력을 결정할 중요한 요인 중 하나로 자리잡을 것이며, 나노기술의 현황과 발전 양상의 분석은 기술 기반 산업의 미래를 위해서도 꼭 필요한 연구의 주제일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 논문의 서지정보를 통해 최근 국내에서 연구되고 있는 나노기술 중 나노소재 분야의 융합도를 측정하고, 그 결과에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 나노소재기술과의 융합은 주로 다학제과학과 화학, 물리학 등 응용분야가 넓고 여러 학문을 포괄적으로 수용할 수 있는 학문에서 많이 발생하였고, 그 외 전기전자, 엔지니어링 분야와의 융합 역시 발견할 수 있었다. 내부중심성과 융합도와의 연관성에 대한 연구가 더욱 활발히 이루어져 그 설명력을 높일 수 있다면, 현실적합성을 획득하여 과학정책과 기술발전에 방향성을 제시하는 하나의 모형이 될 수 있으리라 기대한다.

KISTI collects the scientific and technical articles published in Korea and builds the Korean STI database for scientists. The number of papers exceeds one million. To improve the search efficiency of the database additional processing is required. Abstracting, classification, indexing and extracting is a traditional processing method adding value to information. Indexing and classification are useful tool to assist efficient retrieval. In this paper, authors propose a method to improve information retrieval efficiency by assigning classification code and index terms to records of Korean STI database.

KISTI-ACOMS(Online peer review system), which is installated for more than 270 learned societies, is getting harder to manage large amount of source codes, because the number of installation has been growing much faster than we expected at the development time. Moreover the fundamental problem of this system, that frequent requests of modification from societies comes with modification of source codes, makes it more difficult to manage this program systematically. Thereupon we formulated a system to provide services for many societies using one version of source code, and this system is expected to reduce the managed amount of source codes and to make us cope with requests of societies of more positive than until now.

고성능의 컴퓨터들이 많이 보급되었으며, 또한, 클러스터 시스템 기술의 발전으로 클러스터 시스템의 활용이 크게 늘고 있다. 이러한 고성능의 시스템을 사용하는 사용자들은 다수의 시스템에서 수행하는 작업들을 관리(실행, 모니터링, 삭제, 결과물 관리 등)할 때에 반복적인 작업들이 많이 존재한다. 그러므로, 이러한 반복적인 작업을 손쉽게 수행해 줄 수 있는 기능이 제공된다면 업무를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있을 것이다. 이 논문에서는 분산된 다수의 시스템에서 작업을 수행할 때 스케쥴러(예: PBS, NQS)와 작업을 수행하는 일을 대신해줄 수 있는 통합 작업 스케쥴러(CJS, Consolidation Job Scheduler)를 설계하고, 그 prototype을 구현해 보았다. 스케쥴러의 종류가 많기 때문에 여기서는 PBS와 NQS에 한정하여 구현하였다.

센서 네트워크는 원격지의 상태를 실시간으로 파악하기 위하여 각종 모니터링 시스템에서 활발히 활용된다. 시스템은 원격지에 일어난 사건을 인식하고 사용자에게 유용한 정보를 제공하기 위하여 각종 시뮬레이션 모델 및 분석 기법과 함께 수집된 센서 데이터를 분석한다. 이 논문에서는 모니터링 시스템에서 원격지의 사건을 인식하기 위하여 사건을 등록하고 처리하는 과정을 설계하였다. 이 과정에는 사건 정보 등록, 센서 데이터로부터 사건 정보 추출, 데이터 종류 별 테마(theme) 생성, 연산자를 통한 테마 결합, 시뮬레이션 모델을 활용한 사건 진행 예측, 영향 분석이 포함된다. 그리고, 실제 센서 네트워크를 활용하여 등록된 사건이 처리됨을 보인다.
