In the present paper, we construct the traveling wave solutions involving parameters of nonlinear evolution equations in the mathematical physics via the (3+1)- dimensional potential- YTSF equation, the (3+1)- dimensional generalized shallow water equation, the (3+1)- dimensional Kadomtsev- Petviashvili equation, the (3+1)- dimensional modified KdV-Zakharov- Kuznetsev equation and the (3+1)- dimensional Jimbo-Miwa equation by using a simple method which is called the ($\frac{G'}{G}$)- expansion method, where $G\;=\;G(\xi)$ satisfies a second order linear ordinary differential equation. When the parameters are taken special values, the solitary waves are derived from the travelling waves. The travelling wave solutions are expressed by hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational functions.

In this paper, an improved ($\frac{G^{\prime}}{G}$)-expansion method is proposed for obtaining travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. The proposed technique called ($\frac{F}{G}$)-expansion method is more powerful than the method ($\frac{G^{\prime}}{G}$)-expansion method. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated on a variety of nonlinear partial differential equations such as KdV equation, mKd equation and Boussinesq equations. As a result, more travelling wave solutions are obtained including not only all the known solutions but also the computation burden is greatly decreased compared with the existing method. The travelling wave solutions are expressed by the hyperbolic functions and the trigonometric functions. The result reveals that the proposed method is simple and effective, and can be used for many other nonlinear evolutions equations arising in mathematical physics.

KD는 아직 발병인자가 밝혀져 있지 않아 특별한 검사방법 없이 임상소견에 의존하여 진단하여야 하고 조기진단만이 CAD을 예방할 수 있는 중요한 후천성 심장질환이다. 그러나 발열과 5가지의 고전적인 진단기준에 부합되지 않고 발열과 4가지 미만의 진단기준 또는 전체 6가지 중 3-4가지 진단기준 만이 관찰되는 AKD는 조기진단이 어려워 전형적인 KD보다 CAL의 발생률이 높다. 특히 1세 미만의 영아에서는 모든 임상소견이 사라진 후 아급성기에 나타나는 손과 발의 낙설을 보고 후향적으로 진단을 하는 경우가 많다. 따라서 AKD에서 관상동맥합병증을 예방하려면 오랜 기간 동안 원인을 찾을 수 없고, 항생제에 반응하지 않는 발열이 있을 때에는 고전적인 진단기준에 얽매이지 말고 항상 high index of suspicion을 적용하여 필요할 때마다 CAL의 유무를 조사하고 가능한 빠른 시기에 치료하여야 할 것이다.

The distribution ratio of lanthanon nitrates in the TBPO- and TOPO-toluene systems were studied radiometrically as a function of solvent, nitrate and atomic number(Z). The plots of log Kd vs. Z shows two straight lines which are crossing at Z = 63∼64. The solvent dependency was same for lighter and heavier lanthanons but nitrate dependency was different between the two parts.

The high affinity binding sites for angiotensin II were solubilized from rat liver membranes by treatment with CHAPS. The binding protein was also partially purified by angiotensin III inhibitor-coupled Affi-gel affinity chromatography. Binding to the intact membrances as well as to the solubilized preparation was specific and saturable. According to the Scatchard plot, the membrane preparations exhibited a single class of high affinity binding sites with a Kd OF 0.71 nM. The solubilized preparation also showed the presence of a single class of bindings sites with less affinity (Kd of 14 nM). Meanwhile the competition studies using angiotensin II analogues represented two separate binding sites for angiotensin II and single binding site for antagonist. These latter findings were correlated to the results provided by Garrison's research group. More works are needed to clarify this discrepancy.

Developing new substance for immunosuppressor or immunomodulator from natural products is extremely important in the present biomedicine. In this paper, we focused our efforts on the mitogenicity and immunochemical properties of the two lectins (LCC-I, LCC-II) obtained from marine animal Lunella coronata coreensis. Immunochemical techniques were employed to elucidate the structural and/or functional similarities between the LCC lectins. Molecular weight of the LCC lectins, LCC-I and LCC-II were estimated to be around 60 KD and 66-70 KD, respectively. LCC lectins were mitogens for murine splenic lymphocytes, and the optimum mitogenic doses were 31.25 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml and 3.91 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml, respectively. LCC-II lectin was a good mitogen toward human peripheral lymphocytes at a concentration about 31.25 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml.

부분방전 진단 기술 분야에서는 노이즈의 영향을 최소화할 수 있는 기법이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 부분방전과 노이즈 신호 추출을 위한 로그앰프의 반응 속도차와 부분방전 신호특성을 비교하여 노이즈를 제거하는 SRPDA(Speed Related Partial Discharge Analysis)를 적용한 부분방전 진단 시스템의 개발 내용을 나타내었다. 또한 본 시스템은 광대역 방식의 장점인 빠른 검출 속도와 협대역 방식의 장점인 적은 노이즈의 영향의 장점을 취하는 동시에, 광대역 방식의 단점인 큰 노이즈 영향과 협대역 방식의 단점인 느린 진단 속도를 개선할 수 있는 하이브리드 방식을 채택하여, 기존 부분방전 진단 시스템의 신뢰성을 개선할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

A serine proteinase of molecular weight 60 kd was purified from culture supernatant of P. aeruginosa using DEAE-Trisacryl M ion-exchange and AcA 54 gel filtration column chromatography, and the properties of serine proteinase were characterized. By means of SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, the molecular weight of the enzyme was 55 kd. The optimal pH for the activity of purified enzyme was 7.5. The activity of the purified enzyme was completely inhibited by Di-isopropylfluorophosphate(DFP) and N-.alpha.-p-tosyl-L-lysine choloromethyl detone(TLCK) but not by other proteinase inhibitors such as E-64, pepstatin A, 1, 10-phenanthroline. The purified enzyme was capable of degrading type I and type IV collagen. Antisera obtained from hymans infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa reacted to the purified serine proteinase in immunoblots. These results indicate that the purified enzyme is trypsin-like serine proteinase and this enzyme of P. aeruginosa may play an important role in tissue damage as a spreading factor and may be useful for serodiagnosis of Pseudomonas infections.

We have identified a T cell-activating material in the culture supernatant of Streptomyces species. The factor in microbial culture supernatant (MCS) induced thymocyte proliferation in a does dependent fashion and it could be detected by immunoblot analysis using anti-interleukin-1(IL-1) antibody. The factor in MCS was slightly larger(about 21 kd) in its molecular weight than IL-1 on SDS-PAGE. When 125I-MCS was covalently coupled with homo-bifunctional cross-linking agent, disuccinimidyl-propionate to IL-1 receptor(IL-1R) on mouse thymoma cell(EL-4) and immunoprecipitated with anti-IL-1R antibody the molecular weight of this complex of 110 kd was observed.

담배나방(Heliothis assulta) 혈림프 항세균성 단백질의 특성을 알아보기 위해 종령 유충의 혈강으로 고라구연us thuringiens논 균을 주입하였다. 혈림프의 항세근적 활성은 주입후 48시간 경과군에서 가장 높았으며, E. coli와 풍 thuringiensis에 대하여 항세균성을 보이는 두 개의 단백질(G-1 및 G-11)들을 cation exchange chromatography와 gel filtration을 통해 정제하였다 49KD와 46KB의 두 subunit로 구성된 G-1은 높은 glvcine(17 13 mole %) 및 alanine(13.88 mole %) 함량을 보였으며, 14KD의 단일 pclvpeptide인 G-11에서는 histidine(16 14 mole %)과 glvclne(14.27 mole %)의 함량이 높아, 이러한 높은 glvcine 함량에 있어서 곤충에서 나타나는 다른 항세균성 단백질과 공통점을 보인다.
