Dance is an art that includes not only art historical facts, but also a series of processes for dancers' body, choreography, and the creation of entire process of dances and their lives. In other words, dance is the art of embodying the experience and consciousness of the dancer as the subject, and embodying it through the physical body, and therefore, the existing empirical study which relies solely on the literature in the history of dance study is difficult to deliver a complete history. Oral history is a new methodology historical writing that overcomes the limitations of research methods based on literature centered documents. Oral history in the field of dance is that the dancer becomes the subject of the history of dance's narrative. The memory and testimony of a dancer can become a history, complement the missing parts of the documentary record, and amount to analysis and interpretation to attempt the history of dance from various perspectives. The history of dance through oral history analysis thus generates another view from the literature. The oral history is acted as a prism that can explore the sociocultural discourse of the time and the history of dance. As a new academic challenge for the history of dance field, I expect to be able to review the artistic, social, and cultural functions and roles of dance beyond the limit of existing literature-oriented history study and to be able to progress to various the history of dance.

The present study investigated the associations between CT measures and obstetric complications and family history of major mental illnesses. We had the hypothesis of diosthesis-stress model in the etiology of schizophrenia. We had the following findings. 1) Family history of major mental illnesses is inversely related to obstetric complications. 2) Prefrontal sulcal widening and family history of schizophrenia. are inversely related. 3) In female but not in male patients those with family history of schizophrenia tended to have less prefrontal sulcal widening and ventricular brain ratio. These results suggest that more genetic factors contribute to structural brain abnormalities in female than in male patients.

Wang Hao Gu is a famous Chinese medical scientist of the 13 century. He studied the oldest classic in China, Huangjaenaekyung, and also studied Zhangzhongjing's medical documents. He was influenced by contemporary medical scientists Zhang Yuan Su and Li Dong Yuan, and came up with an original medical theory Yinzheng. Although he is of considerable importance in the history of medicine, not many studies on him were done in Korea although Korean medicine was influenced by Chinese medicine. This study focuses on the study of his insight on medical stuffs and theory of Shanghan.

We aim to investigate inflow history of matters that fall into the satellite systems around a dwarf galaxy in Lambda-Cold Dark Matter model. Each satellite system has unique properties because all satellite systems have different mass inflow history by environments and/or the events such as cosmic reionization and merging with other halos. To trace mass inflow history of the satellite systems, we perform three different cosmological zoom simulations whose galaxy mass is ${\sim}10^{10}M_{sun}$. Each initial zoom simulation covers a cubic box of $1Mpc/h^3$ with 17 million particles. Particle mass for dark matter (DM) and gas components is $M_{DM}=4.1{\times}10^3M_{sun}$ and $M_{gas}=7.9{\times}10^2M_{sun}$, respectively. Thus, each satellite system is resolved with more than hundreds - thousands of particles. We analyze the influence of the gravitational interaction with host galaxy, baryonic matter inflow by various cooling mechanisms, and merging events with other halos on the mass inflow history of satellite systems.

Correlations between "The Book of Changes" and medicine originate from the first publication of the book. Korean Traditional Medicine is no exception in following this tendency of making connections between the two fields. A Chinese medical text, "의학정전" is the most frequently cited text in a Korean medical text "Euirimchalyo". Upon examining the two texts focusing on the 종창, 임폐문 that discusses 비괘, it could be seen that Euirimchalyo edited out the philosophical contents of 의학정전 as much as possible. Thus, on examination of the text, it can be concluded that 의림촬요 takes no part in the Korean history of medical philosophy. This indicates that 의림촬요 is a medical text that purses practicality and efficiency though selectively summarizing.

We next make a survey of the brief history of Chosun mathematics as a seed knowledge for further research on Korean mathematics. In this paper, we will take a look at the perception of gynecological diseases in the JinYuanSiDaJia (金元四大家-the four great schools of Jin Yuan), including the academic schools LiuWanSu(劉完素), ZhangCongZheng(張從正), LiGao, and ZhuZhenheng(朱震亨) during JinYuan Dynasty(金元時代). We also examined the medical history of gynecology up until the MingQingDynasty(明淸時代) when the dialectical system on gynecological diseases was relatively complete.

It is widely accepted that the SED of a galaxy relates to its morphology. In addition, the SED of the galaxy is closely connected to its star formation history, and its morphological properties are affected by the merger history, interactions with its environment, and the gravitational instability of its dynamical system. Thus, it is likely that star formation history correlates to the elements that determine morphological properties. Among the elements, this study investigates how much the merger histories of galaxies influence their star formation histories. By using simple merger trees and semi-analytic models, which disregard feedback processes to exclusively identify merger effects on star formation histories, we examine the relation between various merger histories and SEDs of galaxies. From the results, we discuss whether the SED of a galaxy can represent and constrain its merger history.

This research aimed for revealing social interaction-based environmental learning elements at the natural history museum. First, we carried out a survey of the perceptual change about 'the environment' concept. It was for confirming whether environmental learning occurred in visiting. Second, we found environmental learning elements through analyzing dialogues among small group members during looking around the museum. Social interaction-based environmental learning elements were classified into five; knowledge, affection, value, skill, behaviour. Each environmental learning element included several sub-elements, so we revealed totally 9 environmental learning sub-elements. By results, we said characteristics and possibility of the natural history museum as an informal environmental educational institution. It is meaningful for extending areas of environmental education.
