  • Cultural analysis is closely related to 'Space' which we live in. This means that the shape of the space is not formed accidentally but is a cultural result from how we live. The approach through cultural analysis of space provides a good standard in order to understand, people's values and lifestyles. Today the purpose of sightseeing has changed from just visiting some famous places to experiencing unique culture of other countries. Especially the demand of the sightseers which makes you experience culture through tasting food has been increasing. Yet there are some Korean restaurants that don't show enough Korean culture accurately. The purpose of this study is to research the figural characteristics in Korean interior design with the method of cultural analysis and how they are expressed in the Korean restaurants. In addition, I'd like to suggest that Korean figural characteristics are not old fashioned but are modern things that have grate potential to be reinterpreted.

  • Peking duck embryos incubated for 82 hrs after oviposition, stage 18 to 20(Hamberger and Hamilton, 1951) were transferred into the recipient eggshells and further incubated at $38.0^{\circ}C$ RH(relative humidity) 60 to 70%, with rotation at an angle of $30^{\circ}$ and the frequency of 4 times an hour. The survival rate was 100, 98, 82, 82, 70, 46, 21 and 16%, after the incubation period of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 and 29 days, respectively. The present result clearly shows that the ex ova culture is possible for the Peking duck just as in the cases of the chicken or the quail. This culture technique could be useful for experimental manipulation of the embryos.

  • Years ago, anthropologists gave no attention to clothing and dress; but in the 1980s, a new research agenda was created placing the body surface at center stage (Tranberg-Hansen, 2004). Now culture is seen as a process created through agency, practice, and performance-no doubt, clothing very much has a human element. Just as important, we now understand that the globalization process has both local and global impact. Highest on this local/global interaction is the process of consumption. Certainly we are not surprised by this when we know that clothes may be inspired from France, tech-packed from New York, sourced from all over the world, produced in China, and sold in shops on the other side of the globe.

  • This study is on the necessity of constructing an Electronic Culture Atlas of Gyeonggiyetgil the concept of information provision. Gyeonggiyetgil is a road restored by Gyeonggi-province with the goal of completion in 2022. The purpose of the road is not just the purpose of movement. In the case of Gyeonggiyetgil, it was built in the Joseon Dynasty and is a road that can be traveled on foot. Travelers walking on this road can experience the history, stories, cultural properties, and natural scenery of the road. Therefore, various information related to Gyeonggiyetgil exists. In this study, we would like to mention the necessity of constructing an Electronic Culture Atlas for Gyeonggiyetgil and discuss in detail how existing information can be collected and provided.

  • Comparative analysis of microbial communities in a sequencing batch reactor which performed enhanced biological phosphorus removal (EBPR) was carried out using a cultivation-based technique and 16S rRNA gene clone libraries. A standard PCR protocol and a modified PCR protocol with low PCR cycle was applied to the two clone libraries of the 16S rRNA gene sequences obtained from EBPR sludge, respectively, and the resulting 424 clones were analyzed using restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs) on 16S rRNA gene inserts. Comparison of two clone libraries showed that the modified PCR protocol decreased the incidence of distinct fragment patterns from about 63 % (137 of 217) in the standard PCR method to about 34 % (70 of 207) under the modified protocol, suggesting that just a low level of PCR cycling (5 cycles after 15 cycles) can significantly reduce the formation of chimeric DNA in the final PCR products. Phylogenetic analysis of 81 groups with distinct RFLP patterns that were obtained using the modified PCR method revealed that the clones were affiliated with at least 11 phyla or classes of the domain Bacteria. However, the analyses of 327 colonies, which were grouped into just 41 distinct types by RFLP analysis, showed that they could be classified into five major bacterial lineages: ${\alpha},\;{\beta},\;{\gamma}-$ Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, and the phylum Bacteroidetes, which indicated that the microbial community yielded from the cultivation-based method was still much simpler than that yielded from the PCR-based molecular method. In this study, the discrepancy observed between the communities obtained from PCR-based and cultivation-based methods seems to result from low culturabilities of bacteria or PCR bias even though modified culture and PCR methods were used. Therefore, continuous development of PCR protocol and cultivation techniques is needed to reduce this discrepancy.

  • Modern Chinese Literature, the so-called 'feminist' is a very modern and the traditional criticism and took an important position in the double action. Because a woman's freedom from the bondage of traditional ethics of restoring the social status equal to men but to women does not give, that compared to men and women just the dimension of the problem of isolation is not just. It is dominated by yugajeok worldview by streamlining the whole Chinese society to build a modern society and the country was a critical task. However, multi-cultural life of Lin, Hui-yin and Ling, Shu-hua in the history of the world's attention to the shrine was worried attention to soils, rather than East-West dualism law by taking a mixture of both women in modern Chinese literature and Western literature from the center of efforts to overcome the traditional point hayeotdaneun feminist literature that may be different. Lin, Hui-yin and Ling, Shu-hua to overcome the Western-oriented culture really the true dream of China's globalization and localization could be regarded. She naesewotdeon the banner of feminist literature in the traditional 'anti feudal', 'free personality' silcheondoen under such slogans as well as women's liberation from traditional, male-oriented perspective away from the women's unique experiences and new understanding of the value of the superiority the concept of a woman, and was to create. In particular, the femininity of these women who traditionally associated with women and the unique culture - the creation of a new consciousness, a re-evaluation of traditional feminine skills and talents was to try to.

This study is to suggest that the popular culture theory can be a basic framework to examine the characteristics of fashion Icon and to verify that the characteristics of Fashion Icon is similar to the codes of the popular culture of today, This study considers the characteristics of popular culture as commercialism, mass-media relationship and a symbolic interaction. The images of movie stars projected through diverse entertainment media are the very fashion icons and strong role models that are copied by consumers. Now, the public take the lead in cultural industry, and they create new images as positive receivers of the images of fashion icons, not as mere imitators or followers. Fashion irons have contributed to diversifying the styles of ideal feminine beauty, and their lift pattern and image are one of the major sources to stir up the imagination and inspiration of people. Thus, the times, fashion and entertainment media have continued to evolve, closely affecting one another, and fashion icons play a role of fashion leader, through entertainment media, who takes the initiative in mass fashion without just being confined to the field of entertainment. This study meaningful from the aspect that discussion of popular culture has been placed in a position that recognizes the entity of and interest in popular culture. through this study, I hope that the scope of interest in Fashion design will expand and that approaches to popular culture will become more diversified.

  • The environment of using digital devices has been developed day by day, as mobile communication network has been fast and smart phone and tablet PC have been spread. When the environment changing, the contents consumers prefer have been changing too. The Webtoon became the representative contents of 'Snack culture'. The webtoon has led the growth of cartoon market for years recently instead of the slow comics growth. And it places its elf as contents on a firm basis, as it has been adapted to another genre such as Pay, Flm, TV Drama. Now it's expected to be an extgeneration contents that will lead Han-ryu(Korean wave). Though the webtoon has important and strong presence, there is no digital archive for collecting and preserving the webtoon, Korean Cartoon Contents Agency started making 'webtoon archive', but the groundwork and the study on the webtoon that represents digital culture contents are not enough a lot. In this study, the cases on digital archiving of culture contents in Korea are researched, and the direction on webtoon archiving that has just started is also discussed. The Archiving of webtoon that can't be seperated from digital contents is connected with archiving of digital culture contents in direction where they should be headed to.

Second, Spainish folk costumes have been developed to be suitable for the climatic, geographical cultural characteristics of Latin America. Third, the folk costumes of Latin America become much simpler by the influence of Spainish culture. Fourth, as a result of cultural contact, mixture with Spainish culture, native folk costumes of Latin America had more various style. In conclusion, Spanish government over Latin America had given a cultural homogeneousness and colonial culture of Spain and traditional culture of Latin America have been mixed and created the present unique folk costumes of Latin America. Therefore good understanding and use of the sense of beauty of folk clothes of Latin America influenced by Spain culture will be helpful to enlarge creativeness of design of modern fashion.
