In this paper, a communication method is proposed for the development of a main engine remote control system. The main engine control system compriese three subsystems such as RCS (Remote Control System) BCS (Bridge Control System) and SS (Safety System), Thus it is required to exchange data each other among these subsystems. The communication method has simplified hardware through the minimization of communication components where the interrupt method are employed for receiving and the polling method for transmitting. We discuss a methodology of using a ring buffer for data storage physically which has two buffers virtually for the effective use of memory. This communication method presents a good performance in the system which has rather small numbers of communication data.

The purpose of this study is to help researchers and librarians in theory and practice. Communication was defined, and functions of communications were explained variously. It was to understand clearly the process of communication that some models of communication were presented. Barriers of effective communication were investigated and how to improve communication was suggested in order to overcome barriers of communication.

We introduce, in this paper, a novel approach of protection mechanism for data which are transmitted not only between the networked devices but also between the digital media devices. As the devices are getting more powerful and more storage capacity, they can process the encoded/encrypted data autonomously. However, all devices must know the secret key that used to encrypt data, and also use secure method to distribute that key. Moreover, there are no protection mechanisms supporting end-to-end copy protection which result in the fact that the data passed through various devices can be manipulated or captured. Therefore, we propose a RFID-based key distribution and protection mechanism to resolve these problems.

This study was designed to investigate the relation between perspective-taking skills and communication abilities of young children. The major purposes of this study were to study the relation between perspective-taking skills and communication abilities, to investigate the relation perspective-taking skills and communication abilities with differing listeners, to investigate sex differences in communication abilities within the higher group the perspective-taking skills with differing listeners, and to determine differences between the sexes in communication abilities within the higher group of perspective-taking skills in different situational conditions. Sixty kindergarteners (30 boys and 30 girls) were tested on their perspective taking abilities and divided into two groups, the higher and the lower groups. Five instruments were used in this study: spatial, affective and cognitive perspective-taking tests, expression-ability test, and a communication ability test. The collected data were statistically analyzed by using Pearson's r, point biserial coefficient correlations (rpb), t-test, and three-way analyses of variance with one factor repeated measurement. There were significant relations between spatial, cognitive perspective-taking skills and kindergartener's communication abilities. There were no significant differences in communication abilities in differing listeners and situational conditions. In the group whose level of perspective taking-skills was high, differences between the sexes were found in spatial, and affective perspective-taking skills, only in case of differing listeners.

In order to simplify the wiring of construction heavy equipment, researches on PLC(Power Line Communication)-CAN(Controller Area Network) communication module are actively proceeding. Even if a PLC-CAN communication module is developed, a simulator capable of judging whether the PLC-CAN communication module is operating normally is needed. In this paper, we designed and developed a simulator that can measure the status of PLC-CAN communication module. We analyzed the characteristics of the power line communication frequency band by analyzing the characteristics of the power line and compared the noise characteristics with the passenger car in order to characterize the heavy equipment noise.

Mobile communication industry is attracting a lot of attention all over the world and is expected to continue developing endlessly with the current rapid development of IT industry. Nowadays, mobile communication companies of vietnam are competing about service quality in order to retain existing customers and improve customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This study attempts to research about the effect of mobile communication service quality on customer satisfaction and affecting relationship between customers satisfaction and customer loyalty. In this research empirically examine how mobile communication service quality influence customer loyalty in Vietnam. To do this, after considering characteristics of mobile communication service quality, quality measurement instrument was designed including call quality, call charge, cellphone, added service quality, corporate image, employee's attitude, and behavior. The study finds that all factors of call quality, added servces quality, corporate image, employee's attitude and behavior have positive effect on customer satisfaction except call charge and customers satisfaction also effects customers loyalty positively. From these results, Vietnam domestic mobile communication companies and foreign companies can grasp the general information about Vietnam mobile communication industry, and then, establish customers satisfaction strategies more effectively.

Vehicular communication networking is one of the most important building blocks of Intelligent Transportation System(ITS). The vehicular communication network is a wireless communication system enabling vehicles to communicate with each other as well as with roadside base stations. Especially, Wi-Fi based vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2I) communication is an emerging solution to improve the safety, traffic efficiency, and comfort of passengers. In this paper, we proposed a new communication hub platform for vehicles, and explained vehicle communication technology in short. Through car simulation results, we show thar our proposed system reduces signaling interference.

Due to the advantage of communication coverage extension and removement of shadowing area, relay can be applied in various wireless communication systems. In this paper, we analyze performance of downlink with dual-hop communication systems which use a relay in railway environments. We adopted asymmetric communication system which use coherent modulation scheme in base station-relay link and differential modulation scheme in relay-destination link. The performance of communication system is analyzed using symbol error rate, and performance comparison with the systems which adopts fully coherent scheme is studied. We also investigate the performance of system depending on relay distance and energy allocation.

Visible light communication (VLC) offers communication function in addition to illumination. Because the signal communication capacity per cable is 1,000 times compared to the power line communication (PLC), optical fiber is being advertised as the basis of the information and communication. Also dimming control of LED is an important component needed to provide energy savings and quality of life. This study configured multi-hop VLC system model in a building using optical fiber and analyzed the power performance of two of modulations using dimming techniques. The transmission power and received power were used to compare the power performance in multi-hop VLC environments.

Purpose: This study empirically investigates the effect of collaborative communication and information sharing on the supply chain performance of South Korean pharmaceutical companies. Specifically, it understands the importance collaborative communication and suggests a method for investigating communication in academic research on the pharmaceutical industry. Investigating this sector is crucial because the importance of the pharmaceutical industry is increasing globally against the background of the Covid-19 pandemic. Research design, data, and methodology: A questionnaire was administered to employees of South Korean pharmaceutical companies and 244 valid responses were used for the statistical analysis. Additionally, structural equation modeling was used to measure the relationships between the observed and latent variables. Results: Collaborative communication has a positive effect on information sharing. However, information sharing, unlike collaborative communication, does not exhibit a significant positive relationship with supply chain performance. These results indicate that it is important to communicate effectively in the supply chain rather than strive for the right type of information sharing. Conclusions: Consumers and retailers within the supply chain should continue to strive for candid communication. This study is meaningful, as it empirically tests the relationships between collaborative communication, information sharing, and supply chain performance in the South Korean pharmaceutical industry.
