A Study on the Development of ICT Curriculum for Private Security Workers (민간경비 종사자의 ICT직무교육과정 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study developed the ICT curriculum focusing on apartment security guards and analyzed the actual application results. We developed the educational contents and it designed ICT job courseware for elder education by considering and that designed in consideration of the computer attitudes and physical and cognitive characteristics of the elderly. The educational program was applied to the experimental group and the satisfaction and the educational effect were analyzed through the pre and post test results. As a result of the analysis, the satisfaction level of the education program was higher than the average of 4.00 points. The elderly informal education program was examined by using the qualitative assessment test tool before and after the application of the education program. Internet self-efficacy of experiment group, improvement of internet utilization ability, usage of internet use, personal information willingness, life correction, elimination of conflict among generations, self-confidence, and internet stress increased statistically significantly. These results suggest that the "Private Expense ICT Job Training" program developed in this study can be effective for elderly informatization and can be applied to other elderly education programs and contribute to promotion.

Revisiting the cause of unemployment problem in Korea's labor market: The job seeker's interests-based topic analysis (취업준비생 토픽 분석을 통한 취업난 원인의 재탐색)

  • The present study aims to explore the causes of employment difficulty on the basis of job applicant's interest from P-E (person-environment) fit perspective. Our approach relied on a textual analytic method to reveal insights from their situational interests in a job search during the change of labor market. Thus, to investigate the type of major interests and psychological responses, user-generated texts in a social community were collected for analysis between January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015 by crawling the online-community in regard to job seeking and sharing information and opinions. The results of topic analysis indicated user's primary interests were divided into four types: perception of vocation expectation, employment pre-preparation behaviors, perception of labor market, and job-seeking stress. Specially, job applicants put mainly concerns of monetary reward and a form of employment, rather than their work values or career exploration, thus youth job applicants expressed their psychological responses using contextualized language (e.g., slang, vulgarisms) for projecting their unstable state under uncertainty in response to environmental changes. Additionally, they have perceived activities in the restricted preparation (e.g., certification, English exam) as determinant factors for success in employment and suffered form job-seeking stress. On the basis of these findings, current unemployment matters are totally attributed to the absence of pursing the value of vocation and job in individuals, organizations, and society. Concretely, job seekers are preoccupied with occupational prestige in social aspect and have undecided vocational value. On the other hand, most companies have no perception of the importance of human resources and have overlooked the needs for proper work environment development in respect of stimulating individual motivation. The attempt in this study to reinterpret the effect of environment as for classifying job applicant's interests in reference to linguistic and psychological theories not only helps conduct a more comprehensive meaning for understanding social matters, but guides new directions for future research on job applicant's psychological factors (e.g., attitudes, motivation) using topic analysis.

  • Purpose: This study is designed to provide care workers with basic data on the development of job training programs for enhancing professionalism of senior care services by identifying and analyzing job recognition and education requirements according to the type of work place. Methods: Data were collected from April to July 2019 from 177 care workers working at the Elderly Care Facilities, Elderly Housing Welfare Facilities and Rehabilitation Facilities in the B Metropolitan City. It was analyzed using the SPSS Win 21.0 Statistical Program. Results: The results of job recognition of care worker according to the type of work place shows as follows. As for health care welfare facilities for senior citizens and residential welfare facilities for the elderly was the highest level for physical change and mobile care protection belonging to basic care protection technologies. For the rehabilitation and welfare facility, human rights and prevention of abuse among senior citizens which is belonging to occupational ethics and attitudes of care workers showed the highest. Conclusion: It is required for differentiated job training to enhance capacity for care workers according to the type of work place, and it is needed to developed systematic and specific customized hands-on training to perform, not for simple knowledge.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze and understand MTB(mountain bike) participants' life in subcultural perspective. This research was completed by 8 people live in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon who regularly participated their activity and changed their job to MTB. Observe them by participation, in-depth interview, field notes and researcher's daily records were methods to collect these data. To accomplish this purpose of study, I chose ethnographic Research. As a result, feeling doubt of their previous life, be caught in unique fun of MTB that made them to think MTB leisure seriously as a job, experience of its professionalism they learnt, and changed their job voluntarily were majority opinions. After they changed their job, they seems to have weisure life, more enthusiastic, got positive attitudes than before. Final conclusion of this report is 'close relationship between MTB facility and day life ' and 'tourism's attraction brought them to change their job. This changes gave them satisfaction to their personal life. In socially, it made a large contribution for development of leisure industry by creating new jobs like MTB tour guide and MTB assemblyman.

  • Comparing two pharmaceutical companies which one is adopted a leading-edge information technology for years but the other is still operated by the traditional business styles. This study presented the power of the importance of information technology for improving business foundation for improving business foundation and the top manager have to control the resources of information technology more efficiently for rapid enterprise growth. Information technology adoptions should be considered as an assessing models which could performance the effects of user satisfaction productivity, performance and concentration on the job. The study results revealed that positive attitude toward usage and perceived behavioral control on information technology and helped more other than specific elements in the business. All the outcomes positively related to attitudes toward usage of information technology and its devices.

  • 본 연구는 고용형태의 차이가 사서의 직무태도와 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 파악하고자 하는 것이다. 즉, 정규직과 비정규직 사서의 직무태도와 성과의 차이 유무와 그 직무태도와 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인가를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과는 고용형태별로 직무태도와 성과에는 차이가 있었으며, 직무태도와 성과에 영향을 주는 요인으로는 정규직 사서의 경우 동료관계, 고용보장성, 기술다양성이 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 비정규직 사서의 경우 동료관계와 자율성이 영향요인으로 나타났다.

Influence of Family and Work Experience on Occupational Aspirations of Adolescents: A Path Model (가족배경변인과 시간제취업경험이 청소년의 직업소망에 미치는 영향: 경로분석을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a theoretical model from which to test the influence of family background and work experience on the level of rural high school students' (N=381) occupational aspirations. In the basic model, mother's occupation directly influenced occupational aspirations. Father's education influenced occupational aspirations directly and also indirectly through students' academic achievement. The number of working hours per week had a direct and negative influence on academic achievement. In a different path, working hours had an indirect positive influence on academic achievement through parents' different treatment which especially focused on the fact that parents gave students more freedom compared to the relationship they shared before the students began to work. Enjoying school, studying homework, and extra reading were influenced by students' number of working hours. Two variables, extra reading and job characteristics, predict the social acceptance work attitudes which are a direct predictor of occupational aspirations. Academic achievement had a greater total effect on the level of occupational aspirations than any other variables.

A study on the professional perception of public library directors and its influential factors (한국 공공도서관장의 전문직의식과 그 영향요인)

  • The purpose of this study was attempted to investigate the professional perception of the public library directors in Korea, and to measure and to compare the perceptional difference between Directors that have or have not of Librarian's license. The authors obtained data through questionaires by mail to 188 directors of public Libraries. The number of respondents which become available for analysis was 188 and the response rate was 58.8%. The Major findings of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The professional perception of public Library Directors differs from the qualification for a librarian. 2. The Librarian's license made difference with regards to perceptional attitudes, consciousness of services, satisfying on job situation of Directors. 3. The professional perception of public Library Directors may have influence on each others of a school career, task work, colleague understandings on the gob situations. 4. but the difference have no significance statiscally. 5. Thus we need to study other types of organization and influencial variables for generalization of this study.

  • Officers and ratings as a group might show differences in some aspects of personality , human relations, job attitudes, perception of business environment and surrounding organizational structure. It has been traditionally believed that licenced-officers are required to have nicely-paired leadership and dignity , and ratings obedience in maritime field. This survey revealed that officers and ratings have some differences in the actual behavior, knowledge , understanding attitude etc., In summary , officers as a superstructure of merchant ship's orgnaization are different, to some degree, from ratings as an infrastructure in several aspects. Officers are believed to have the characteristics of maturity by taking concern of business environment , social circumstance away from the vessels which they are on board. In contrast, ratings are greatly interested in the surrounding environment associated with themselves, and also experiencing alienation and technology.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate bases on the employed wives’family financial management types according to family financial management types according to family financial management project and performance. And it’s related variables will provide the basic information for the program which aids in the improvement of the employed wives’family financial management skills and family financial counseling. The major findings were as follows: 1) The total mean score of respondent’s family financial management was 3.54 out of 5. And the mean score of project and performance was respectively 3.42 and 3.62. 2) Among family financial management types, effective type, project-centered type, performance-centered type, ineffective type were respectively 38.7%, 16.4%, 13.2%, 31.7%. 3) The family financial management type of the employed wives was affected by information utilization the degree of communication, type of occupation, and job attitudes.
