신규간호사 배치후 교육시 프리셉터쉽 적용 사례연구 (The Effect of Preceptorship on OJT(On the Job Training) of New Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of preceptorship on On the Job Training of new nurses. The research design was a retrospective survey and one group pre-post test design. The subjects were 49 entry nurses and 49 preceptors. The data were collected from Feburary 1, 1998 to December 1, 1998. One questionnair applied in this study consisted of general characteristics, the responses of new entry nurses and their preceptors and their qualities. The other questionnair consisted of job satisfaction of new entry nurses and preceptors and their competencies. The data were analyzed for frequencies, mean score, standard deviation, t-test, and ANOVA. The results of the study were as follows: 1) Preceptees's responses were that the nurses' affiliation of unit, cooperation of other nurses, and competencies of nursing skills improved after OJT applied preceptorship. 2) Preceptors's answers were that preceptorship had a positive effect on their continuing education. 3) While preceptees's job satisfaction scores were high in interaction, administration, and organization, they were low in autonomy and pay. 4) Pre-competency scores were the same as post-competency scores. 5) After preceptorship, preceptors responded that their nursing skill & communication competency increased, but their nursing administration competency decreased. 6) Finally, preceptorship's other effects were as follows: (1) Checklists for preceptee education at the nursing unit were developed separately. (2) It was proved that 'preceptor interview note' was effective on manage preceptorship. (3) We obtained duty overlap periods; medicalsurgical units-1 month, 5 ICU-2 months, operation room-3 months. (4) We prepared a preceptor program based on the study results.

대구지역 생산직 기혼여성의 취업 및 가족생활실태파악과 대책수립에 관한 연구(II) (A Study on Work and Family Life of Married Female Production Workers and Policy Implications(II))

  • This study examines work and family life of married women employed in a manufacturing industry. Data were gathered from the use of fact-to-face interview method from a sample of 230 married working women. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows : (1) With high rates of change of job, most of the respondents remain unstable in their working situation. It was shown that the important factors influencing job satisfaction of married women are women's life cycle, degree of contribution of wife's income toward total family income, and husband's attitude toward wife's empolyment. The degree of job satisfaction is also strongly influenced by labor structural factors such as pay, work environment and fringe benefits. (2) The amount of household labor time was limited by job-related factors rather than by family-related factors, because among these working women employment itself is necessarily for their subsistance. (3) It was shown that wives participated more actively in their marital communications than their husbands. Most of the respondents showed the syncratic type of the decision making patterns, but this results does not necessarily mean wives exercised an equal power with their husbands. The economic factors and the emotional instability of the husband are the ones mostly influencing marital conflicts of the employed women. It was found that the respondents easily revealed marital conflicts related to personal problems of their husbands(such as extramarital affairs, gambling and alchoholism). However, they tried to overcome the structural conflicts related to authoritarian attitudes of their husbands or economic problems without any complaints. (4) Mothers have difficulty in controlling their adolescent children, due to the weakening of parental authority. Although most of the respondents perceived their employment as having negative impacts on their children, they still have high expectations toward their children. Inspite of low degree of father role expectations and facther role performance of their husbands, most of the respondents anticipated expressive roles as well as traditionally instrumental role from their husbands. Finally, these findings would help us determine family welfare policies in Korea. Improvements in paid and household labor structure of married women should be accomplished at the national level. Also, the acting programs for parent education, marital councelling services, and law enforcement for equal employment between men and women should be provided in our society.

병원경영 관련 분야의 연구경향 분석 (A Study on Recent Trends of Hospital Management Research in Korea)

  • This study examines academic research trends and the change of patterns by analyzing researches related to hospital management registered in Korea Citation Index(KCI) from 2010 to 2014 and offers basic information for interests and future research demands in the field of hospital management As research subjects, a total of 694 published articles were selected. It's to analyze them by dividing into research topics, methods and author's characteristics, and to present them by classifying the period into 2010-2011, 2012-2013, 3rd quarter of 2014 since there was no significant difference in the result between adjacent years. As a result, Korean Journal of Hospital Management has accounted for the highest published rate year after year. In the research topic analysis, it showed a decreasing trend in these research topics as medical marketing and patient satisfaction which became the biggest issue in 2010-2011 significantly were lower in 2014, but an increasing trend in job satisfaction, job stress, labor administration and workforce productivity. The most frequently cited keywords were hospital employees, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job stress, turnover intention. According to the research method analysis, the survey was the most popular method for data collection. However, Interview and medical records as data sources showed a decline trend. As analysis methods, multivariate analysis of quantitative methods was most used. Finally, as a result of analyzing main author's characteristics, the ratio of the authors belonging to health administration and nursing departments of the academic world increased gradually. In the regional distribution, organizations in Seoul are most common, those in Daegu Gyeongbuk areas, foreign organizations showed a tendency to decrease. This is the first study to examine the annual trend on hospital management-related research issues among articles published in domestic journal and we found qualitative and quantitative advances in hospital management research filed.

기혼여성의 재취업 구조에 관한 사례연구 : 전업주부 재취업훈련 참가자를 중심으로 (Married Women's Return to the Workforce : Findings from the Participants in a Reemployment Training Program)

  • This study was conducted to help develop women's human resources and promote married women's return to workforce. Using various data, we examined the patterns of Korean women's economic activities over the lifecycle, career discontinuation and return to the workforce. We also interviewed twenty full-time housewives who wanted to return to workforce. The interview questions included reasons for seeking employment, desired working conditions, and difficulties in finding a job. Major findings are as follows: First, there were two groups with respect to reasons why they want employment One was an economic need such as earning basic living expenses and supporting the family. The other was self-realization and social participation. Second most women wanted to do unskilled labor such as housekeeping work, whereas some young or well-educated women looked for a professional job. Third, married women preferred part-time jobs, which were compatible with their family care demands. Most of them wanted a workplace located close to home. The women with child-care responsibility preferred working at home. Fourth, regarding difficulties of returning to workforce, they pointed out vocational ability problems due to their career discontinuation, social prejudice such as gender discrimination and psychological pressure in maintaining work and family at the same time. In order to promote employment of married women, it is required not only to change social prejudices but also to increase effectiveness in policy implementation. In addition, counseling for job-search and vocational ability training programs should be provide.

재직자의 대학·대학원 경험이 직업전환에 주는 의미 (The Meaning of University-Graduate School Experiences of Employee's for Job Conversion)

  • 본 연구는 재직자의 대학 대학원 경험이 직업전환에 주는 의미가 무엇인지를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 대학 대학원 경험이 있는 재직자 7명을 대상으로 2018년 6월부터 12월까지 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과, 재직자의 대학 대학원 경험이 직업전환에 주는 의미는 크게 3개의 범주와 8개의 하위요소가 도출되었다. 첫째, 새로운 시각과 인식이 바뀌는 가치관의 변화이다. 둘째, 자신감 향상과 동기부여, 그리고 흥미와 적성을 되찾는 심리적 변화이다. 셋째, 배움의 즐거움과 인적네트워크 형성, 그리고 가족의 지지를 얻는 실생활의 변화이다. 이상의 연구결과를 보면, 재직자들의 대학 대학원 경험은 자신감을 얻어 새로운 도전을 하게하고, 적성에 맞는 일을 되찾아 삶을 주체적으로 살아갈 수 있는 정체성의 발현이라 해석할 수 있다.

학습마을활동가의 잡 크래프팅을 통한 일의 의미 탐색 (An exploration of the meaning of work through job crafting by Learning Village Activists)

  • 본 연구는 잡 크래프팅을 중심으로 학습마을활동가의 일의 의미에 대해 심층적으로 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 학습마을활동가 4명을 대상으로 2020년 3월 23일부터 2021년 03월 05일까지 참여관찰과 심층면담을 통해 질적 사례연구를 수행하였다. 분석결과, 과업 크래프팅은 '자신이 가진 강점과 자원을 활용한 과업수행', '정해진 과업 이외의 추가적 업무수행', ' 효율적 과업수행을 위한 업무방식의 변화'가 나타났다. 인지 크래프팅은 '일의 중요성과 소명의식 인지', '일의 행복과 즐거움 인지', '일의 전문성 확장을 위한 역할 인지'가 나타났다. 관계 크래프팅은 '동료와 실천학습공동체 구축', '마을주민의 성장과 변화의 매개자', '업무관계자와 갈등과 협력의 공존'이 나타났다. 결론적으로 학습마을활동가들은 잡 크래프팅을 통해 능동적으로 일을 변화시키고 있었으며, 이는 일의 만족감을 향상할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다. 추후 타지역 학습마을활동가 대상의 후속연구를 제안하였다.

서비스 대상에 의한 폭력과 직무 스트레스: 요양원 및 전문요양원 종사자의 경험 (Client Violence and Job Stress in the Nursing Homes)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 요양 및 전문요양원에 근무하는 직원들이 서비스 대상으로부터 경험하는 폭력과 직무 스트레스에 대해 탐색하는 것이다. 조사대상은 대전지역의 요양원과 전문요양원에 근무하는 생활지도원과 간호사 182명이다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 폭력 경험과 관련하여 응답한 173명 중 137명(79.2%)이 지난 1년 동안 서비스 대상으로부터 크고 작은 폭력을 당하였다. 둘째, 직원들의 직무 스트레스 수준은 전반적으로 낮았다. 서비스 대상과의 관계에서 오는 스트레스는 2.8%만이, 케어/간호과정에서 오는 스트레스도 2.3%만이 스트레스가 있거나 매우 심각한 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 심리적 폭력과 신체적 폭력 간 관계에서는 심리적 폭력과 신체적 폭력을 동시에 경험한 사람들의 비율이 43.4%로 가장 높았고, 심리적 폭력만을 경험한 직원의 비율도 35.8%로 높게 나타났다. 심리적 폭력 없이 신체적 폭력만 경험한 직원들은 0.6%에 불과했으며, 어떤 폭력도 경험한 적이 없는 직원은 20.2%였다. 넷째, 폭력 경험과 직무 스트레스 간의 관계에서, 폭력은 서비스제공자와 서비스 대상간의 관계를 손상시키지는 않지만, 직접적인 케어나 간호과정에는 다소 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

콜센터 상담원의 감성지능, 조직시민행동과 IT활용능력이 직무 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 탐색적 연구 : 상담원의 경력 비교 (An Exploratory Study on Effect of Call Center Representatives' Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Citizenship Behavior and IT Utilization Ability on Job Performance : A Comparative Analysis by Representatives' Career)

  • Corporations look for their competitiveness in many different areas, and one of them is customer call center, which provides professional, special service to the customers. The importance and the value of realization of customer satisfaction at each call center have become significant as it plays a leading role and is responsible for customer recreation and follow-up services. This study held in-depth interviews with 3 groups of professional call representatives (categorized by experience) from popular property and life insurance companies in Korea who operate in and outbound calls. Three variables, emotional quotient, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), and IT utilization skill, were selected and it was observed how these variables affect the job performance of in and outbound call center representatives. The importance of the relationship between the variables and the key factors in the future direction of improvement of the call center representative organization was analyzed. Emotional quotient refers to the ability to recognize and use the emotion of oneself and others. It was considered it would be effective in enhancing the counseling ability of call center representatives, This study identifies the effect of emotional quotient on job performance and organizational citizenship behavior, which is defined as actions outside of normative roles in the organization. Also, the study aims to prove the effect of emotional quotient on the rapidly developing IT utilization ability in relation to job performance. As a result, it was found that service career (3 months, 3 years, 10 years) had a significant effect on the key factors that affect the organization-emotional quotient, IT utilization skill, and OCB. Especially for OCB, it was considered relatively less important to the new employees, while it greatly affected the job performance, rate of settlement, and sustainment of the working life for those with longer experience. Also, the result of the interview for each variable differed by the service career. Emotional quotient, IT utilization skill, and OCB were close connection for the representatives with longer experience than for those with shorter experience. And the level of intimacy of their relationship with job performance was in proportion to the years of service. Thus, to secure stability for the call center representatives and enhance their job performance continually, the importance of emotional quotient and IT utilization skill shall be reflected in the operation process actively. In particular, in order to lead a organization with outstanding culture, a management system shall apply OCB from the recruitment process.

울산지역 치과위생사의 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Satisfaction of the Dental Hygienists)

  • 본 연구는 울산광역시 근무하는 치과위생사의 직무만족도를 파악하기 위하여 울산지역 일부 치과위생사를 대상으로 구조화된 자기기입식 설문지를 이용한 직접방문조사를 시행하여 총 77부의 자료를 수합하였다. SPSS 11.5를 이용하여 치과위생사의 인구통계학적 특성 및 직업관련 특성, 이직경험 유무에 대한 직무만족도, 각 직무만족도 세부 요인들 간의 차이와 각 직무만족도 세부요인들 간의 관련성을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 연령은 25세 이하가 53.2%, 결혼여부는 미혼이 79.2%, 학력은 전문대졸이 84.4%, 월 급여는 100만원 이상 150만원 미만이 69.9%로 가장 많았다. 2. 치과위생사의 직무만족 관련요인별 만족도는 직업적 긍지에 대한 만족도가 가장 높았고 보수에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 3. 치과위생사의 직무만족도 및 이직경험에서는 이직경험이 있는 경우가 없는 경우보다 근무환경만족도와 직업적 긍지에 대한 만족도, 현 근무지에 대한 만족도가 높게 나타나 이는 통계적으로도 높은 유의성을 나타내었다.(p = 0.003, p = 0.0.030, p = 0.000) 4. 각 세부직무만족도요인들은 모두 강한 정의 상관관계를 가지고 있었다. 5. 직무만족도를 종속변수로 한 회귀분석에서는 월급여가 150만원 이상 200만원 미만인 경우(p = 0.004), 연령은 31세 이상(p = 0.002), 근무지는 치과의원(0.037), 학력은 전문대졸이 (0.004) 직무만족도가 높게 나타나 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다.

개인회생 채무자의 경제적.심리적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Demographic, Economic and Psychological Characteristics of the Debtors in Individual Rehabilitation Procedures)

  • There are few studies on the characteristics of debtors in individual rehabilitation procedures, though research in this field is needed. The scarcity of research means that public policy and perception are being made with inadequate information and, to a certain extent, based on personal prejudices and misconceptions. The purpose of this study was to find out demographic, economic and psychological characteristics of debtors in individual rehabilitation procedures. For this study, an in-depth interview was used. The major findings were as follows : The focus of this study is debtors in individual rehabilitation procedures. They were all under 40 and received relatively high educations. Interestingly, they showed a high tendency to use debt and an inability to manage their money. They had short time horizons and imperfect self-control in consumption and borrowing decisions. Monthly income, expenditures, asset and debt of the debtors, and monthly payment to creditors were reported. There were a lot of reasons for their bankruptcy : business failure, job loss, the cost of raising children, and expenditures for entertainment causing them to file for individual rehabilitation procedures. One of the major conclusions of this study was the discovery that their psychological characteristics were nearly the same. The implications of the study suggest that financial education and counseling must consider psychological characteristics.
