삼태극의 의미고찰 (Reconsideration of the Meaning of Sam-Tai-Ji)

  • 서울 올림픽의 휘장을 비롯하여 우리나라를 대표하는 전통 문양 중의 하나로 삼태극이 사용되고 있다. 삼태극은 태극임에도 불구하고 정확한 철학적 규명없이 일부 종교단체나 지식인들에 의해 '천지인'이라는 삼재론으로 혹은 '천지인 조화사상'이라는 넓은 틀로 해석되고 있다. 이에 삼태극의 정확한 의미를 알아보고자 하는데 본 연구의 목적을 두었다. 조선은 건국과 더불어 유교를 통치이념으로 삼았으나, 이념의 테두리에서 비교적 자유로운 곳에서는 노장과 불교, 무속 등을 묵인하여왔다. 그리하여 태극 문양을 사용함에 있어서도 유교적 이념이 드러나야 하는 공식적인 곳에서는 이태극 문양을 사용하고, 왕릉과 같은 사적인 곳에서는 삼태극 문양을 새겨왔음을 밝혀 놓았다. 이와 같이 문양을 분리 사용한 이유를 규명해보기 위하여 태극의 변화 발전 과정을 고찰해 보았다. 동양(한 중 일)에서는 태극 문양을 우주와 관련지어 생각하는 경우가 많았다. 이 문양은 한당시대까지는 삼태극이 주로 사용되었으며, 그 의미도 "한서" "율력지" 속에서'음양덕(陰陽德)'으로 나타나 있다. 그러나 이후 중국사에서 등장한 "고태극도" 속에서는 이태극 속의 흰점으로 문양이 변화되어 나타나며, 그 의미도 '음양과 생기'로 표현된다. 그러다 유가 사상이 자리 잡은 송대 이후로는 '음양과 리'로 그 해석이 이루어지게 된다. 이 과정에서 리는 '생기'와 달리 비실체성을 나타내는 것이어서, '음양과 리'를 문양으로 표현할 때는 이태극으로 표현하게 되었음을 논해 놓았다. 결론적으로 삼태극은 '음양덕' 혹은 '음양생기', '음양무극' 등을 문양으로 나타낸 것이다. 이것은 영(靈)의 세계를 인정하는 도가와 불교의 사상 속에서 주로 발달하였으며 '기'를 본체로 하는 세계관이다.

조선시대 한양에 조성된 관영의 연지에 관한 연구 -동지, 서지, 남 지를 중심으로- (A Study on the Government-controlled Lotus Ponds Constructed in Han-Yang during Chosun-Dynasty)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the ponds which were artificially constructed around the castle gate of Han-yang, the capital in Chosun-Dynasty. In order to conduct the research on landscape history, it is necessary to have a field survey and to collect and analyze historic documents. But this study was based on the historic documents published in Chosun-Dynasty because no relics of ponds are found nowadays. There Tong-ji(eastern pond) outside of the East Gate, Seo-ji(western pond) outside of the West Gate and Nam-ji(southern pond) outside of the South Gate. They were constructed as lotus ponds and managed by the landscape management office, called Chang-weon-seo in the ministry of Industry. Tong-ji and Nam-ji were constructed according to geomantic principles. In case of Seo-ji, the situation of construction differed from Tong-Ji in some points. As for the shape of Seo-ji, it was a rectangular pond and had an islet in the middle where flowering plants had been planted. These ponds were enjoyed by the people lived in Han-yang because they were located near the street. Particularly, people in Han-Yang enjoyed the beautiful scenery of lotus flowers planted in the ponds.

  • Power frequency is one of important operational parameters evaluating reliability, stability, and measuring efficiency of power. Therefore, an accurate and fast estimate of the power frequency is required. The magnitude gains of cosine and sine filters become different when the power frequency is deviated from the nominal value. The proposed algorithm estimates the power frequency based on this. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm, RTDS and DSP are used. The simulation results show that the algorithm has not only a high level of robustness but also high measurement accuracy over a wide range of frequency changes. In addition, the algorithm was immune to harmonics and noise.

  • Most of studies about Taegni-Ji were searched in the field of geography and history. These are relrealed the conflictin respects of the structure and contents of Taegni-Ji. This study reviewed these studies and searched for limits and inquiries. Thus the parts of overlooking in them were dealt with and interpretated in terms of the characters of the contents and structure of Taegni-Ji. This book is regarded as the subjects of traditional evaluation of landscape. Tractional landscapes were related to Pung-su in many sides. So the contents specialty related to Pung-su which refered used in Taegni-Ji were discussed through the system of Taegni-Ji. As a result the terms of Pung-su used in Taegni-Ji must be researched which were specific term or not. Those studies are bibliographical review. Taegni-Ji contains of many apparent view of rural landscape thug they will be carried to field survey. Research in this area is at an early stage. The Present stuffy was confined to an examination of the characteristics and transformation process of the location of seowons However, it is hoped that this study will offer meaningful guide for further research.

조선 후기 궁궐 정전과 편전 지의(地衣)의 구조와 배치 방식 (The Structure and the Layout of Ji-ui on the Main and the Subsidiary Hall of the Royal Palace in the Late Joseon Dynasty)

  • In the late Joseon Dynasty, the floor of the royal palace was covered with grass mat called ji-ui. Ji-ui was produced by connecting several mats named seokja(席子) and trimming the edge with narrow fabric named seon(縇). The standard manufacturing technique was to connect the shorter sides of the seokjas by overstitching them. A room was covered with either single or multiple ji-uis, depending on the case. In the case of the main and the subsidiary halls (jeong-jeon and pyeon-jeon, respectively) where the king conducted official meetings with the civil servants, multiple ji-uis were laid out to signify the division of space, which reflected the ceremonial aspects of the governing acts. The most essential division was the distinction of yeong-wae(楹外) and yeong-nae(楹內), with the jeon-goju (a tall frontal pillar inside the hall) functioning as the breakpoint. Jeong-jeon was divided into four spaces each covered with one ji-ui: yeong-nae, yeong-wae, and the left and the right sides of the royal seat named jwa-tap(座榻). Pyeon-jeon was covered with three ji-uis that divided the hall into three spaces: yeong-nae, yeong-wae, and hu-twae(後退) (the hind section) where the royal seat was placed on.

수학교육에서의 스토리텔링 방식 적용을 위한 소재 연구: 지수용육도와 지수귀문도를 중심으로 (A study on finding topics for the application of storytelling method in mathematics education: centered on JiSuYongYukDo and JiSuGuiMunDo)

  • 본 연구는 최석정이 제시한 지수용육도와 지수귀문도의 수학사 탐구형 스토리텔링을 위한 소재로서의 가능성을 탐색하고 있다. 학생들은 최석정이 제시한 지수용육도와 지수귀문도의 해로부터, 기댓값을 마법수로 택했고, 서로 보수가 되는 두 수의 쌍을 이용했고, 다른 쌍의 배열에 영향을 미치지 않는 독립된 네 쌍이 있고, 보수가 되는 두 수를 바꾸어 놓아도 역시 해가 된다는 특징을 탐구할 수 있다. 다음으로 학생들은 지수용육도의 해를 구하는 것은 특정한 조건을 만족하는 6개의 수를 찾는 것으로, 그리고 지수귀문도의 해를 찾는 것은 특정한 조건을 만족하는 11개의 수를 찾는 것으로 바꾸어 탐구할 수 있다. 또한 학생들은 이 전략을 통해 많은 시행착오를 겪지 않아도 최석정 스타일의 해를 나름대로 다양하게 구할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.

치매에 응용(應用)된 육미지황탕가감방(六味地黃湯加減方)에 대한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (A Literature Study on the Yuk-mi-ji-hwang-tang-kakambang of Applying to Dementia)

  • As a result of investigating the cases of applying Yuk-mi-ji-hwang-tang-kakambang(六味地黃湯加減方) to treating dementia, the following results are obtained. 1. Yuk-mi-ji-hwang-tang-kakambang(六味地黃湯加減方)is applied to anapladementia. 2 Yuk-mi-ji-hwang-tang-kakambang(六味地黃湯加減方) is also applied to treating the dementia due to congenital weakness and defficiencies of the Liver and Kidney, the Spleen and Kidney. 3. To cure congenital weakness, Yuk-mi-ji-hwang-tang(六味地黃湯), Jwa-kwi-hwan(左歸丸), Bo-sin-ik-su-tang(補腎益髓湯) and Chil-bok-eum-kakam(七福飮加減) which can bo-sin-ik-jeong(補腎益精) sung-noi-ik-ji(醒腦益智), for the defficiencies of liver and kidney, Jwa-kwi-hwan-kakam(左歸丸加減), Woo- kwi-eum-kakam(左歸飮加減) and Ki-kuk-ji-hwang-tang-hap-jng-ji-tang-kakam(杞菊地黃湯合定智湯加減) which can bo-ik- kan-sin(補益肝腎) jeon-jeong-gun-noi(塡精健腦) and for the defficiencies of spleen and kidney, Hwan-so-dan-kakam(還少丹加減) and Kum-kwe-shin-ki-hwan-kakam(金궤腎氣丸加減) which can bo-sin-gun-bi(補腎健脾) ik-gi-sang-jeong(益氣生精) gun-noi-sang-su(健腦生髓) 4. Won-Ji(遠志) and Suk-chang-po(石菖蒲) which can sung-sin-ga-gu(醒神開竅) are added to yuk-mi-ji-hwang-tang(六味地黃湯).
