A Study on Factors Affecting Turnover Intention of Jewelry Distribution Distributor

  • Purpose - This study aims to present ways to secure capable employees by examining key factors of internal marketing applicable to the jewelry distribution business and analyzing the relations among organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and turnover intentions among employees who play important roles in jewelry distributors. Research Design, data, and methodology - To examine these research models, samples were collected from 210 individuals working in jewelry distribution companies. The analysis was conducted by the use of a questionnaire method among employees in jewelry distribution companies. SPSS 18.0 were utilized for data analysis. Results - Among internal marketing components of jewelry distribution companies, the two factors - management support and reward system - have positive (+) effect on organizational commitment and while internal communication and education/training have negative (-) effect on employees' turnover intention. Jewelry distribution company employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment have negative (-) effect on their turnover intention. Conclusions - This is an exploratory study that aims to find out ways to prevent employee turnover in the perspective of jewelry distribution companies' organizational measure - internal marketing. The future study needs to present more sophisticated strategies of internal marketing based on in-depth analysis of specific causes that make employees at jewelry distribution companies leave the occupations.

패션 주얼리 브랜드산업(産業)의 현황(現況)과 시사점(時事點)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (An Examination on Fashion Jewelry Brand Industry's Situation and Its Implications)

  • The purpose d this study was to examine situations of fashion jewelry brand industry and to find out the problems in Korean jewelry market. Based on literature review, this paper tried to define jewelry first, and to investigate recent the recent situations or status of fashion jewelry markets. The fashion jewelry brand markets were able to be classified into 2 categories such as off-line retailing and on-line retailing including internet shopping and home shopping. As the result, the most problem was the definition of the fashion jewelry. Also our fashion jewelry markets had some serious problems such as complex distribution structure or lack d technical experts. Based on these results, fashion jewelry marketing strategies would be suggested.

주얼리유통기업 종사자의 동기가 직무열의, 직무만족, 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Motivation on the Job Engagement, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment in Jewelry Distribution Company)

  • 본 연구는 주얼리유통기업 종사자들의 동기와 직무열의의 구성요인을 파악하고, 동기와 직무열의, 직무만족과 조직몰입의 인과관계를 분석함으로써 주얼리유통기업의 경쟁력 제고방안을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌연구를 통해 연구모형과 가설을 설정하였고, 가설을 검정하기 위하여 실증연구를 병행하였다. 2023년 10부터 11월까지 주얼리유통기업 종사자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 수집된 242명의 응답자료를 SPSSWIN ver. 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 요인분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 주얼리유통기업 종사자의 동기는 내재적 동기(즐김, 도전, 성취감)와 외재적 동기(인정, 보상, 승진)로 구성되어 있음을 확인하였고, 직무열의는 활력, 헌신, 몰두로 구성되어 있음을 확인하였다. 동기와 직무열의, 직무만족과 조직몰입의 인과관계를 분석한 결과, 성취감과 즐김, 인정은 몰두에, 성취감과 도전은 헌신에, 성취감과 도전, 즐김, 인정은 활력에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 내재적 동기와 외재적 동기는 직무열의에 유의한정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였으며, 종사자의 직무열의(몰두, 헌신, 활력)는 직무만족에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 직무열의의 구성요인 중 헌신이 조직몰입에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

우리나라 귀금속 장신구 산업의 현황 및 발전 방향 (Realities and Developing Orientation of the Jewelry Industry in Korea)

  • 95년 통계청(한국은행, KDI통계자료)의 자료를 보면, 우리나라 귀금속 장신구시장이 약 2조 8000억 원 규모로 보고되었는데, 이는 86년부터 95년까지 10년 간 년 평균 15.3%의 성장세를 나타내고 있으며 G.N.P 대비 0.78% 의 점유율을 보이고 있다. 이러한 귀금속 장신구 산업은 높은 성장 가능성을 가지고 있음에도 불구하고 산업의 구조적인 취약성으로 불법 거래의 만연, 보석의 품질 등급의 왜곡(다이아몬드의 경우 감정 기관에 따른 가격 차이, 금의 경우 금의 품위 조작 등)등의 문제를 낳고 있으며, 유통 업체의 영세성 등으로 우리나라 귀금속 장신구 산업 시장은 미국이나 일본 선진국에 비해 아직은 초기 단계라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 고부가가치 사업의 하나인 귀금속 장신구 산업을 발전시키기 위해서는 귀금속 장신구 업체의 유통 구조개선과 제품의 제작기법 및 새로운 디자인의 개발 등이 요구되며, 또한 귀금속 장신구 산업의 중요성과 국가 경제 기여도 및 업계의 장기 발전 전망에 대한 정확한 인식이 업계 전반에 확산되게 함으로서 귀금속 장신구 산업의 발전을 이루어 나갈 수 있을 것으로 확신한다.

정밀주조 프로세스에서 피드 스프루의 이상적 구조에 관한 연구 (A study on the ideal structure of feed sprue in the investment casting process)

  • 정밀주조기술은 수공예에 의한 일품장신구가 규격화, 표준화된 제품으로 대량 생산될 수 있는 기틀을 만들어 주었고 또한 생산라인의 시스템 개선으로 업무의 분업화와 장비의 첨단화로 명실상부한 장신구가 산업으로서의 면모를 갖추는데 지대한 기여를 하였다. 본 연구자는 주조장비가 국내 도입된 이래 약 30여 년 동안 주조장비의 고급화와 업그레이드에 따른 제품의 질이 향상되었다고 볼 수 있으나 주조장비가 100 % 해결해 줄 수 없는 생산 프로세스를 직시하면서 정밀주조 과정에서 매우 중요하다고 판단되는 왁스트리(Wax Tree)공정 시 수행되는 장신구 사출물과 금속이 용해되어 흘러 들어가는 스프루(Sprue)의 연결은 여전히 수작업에 의해 진행이 되고 있고 이 과정에서 원하는 결과물이 나오는데 많은 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 문제점을 실험데이터를 바탕으로 하여 좀더 완벽한 정밀주조의 프로세스를 수행하기 위한 방안 제시를 하고자 한다.

신한복 치마에 대한 인식과 디자인 선호도에 관한 연구 (A study on the perception and design preference of New Hanbok's skirt)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the perception of New-Hanbok Skirts that female consumers have and to analyze the design preference based on the analysis of designs of skirt products currently in distribution. Based on the analysis of the New-Hanbok brand website, the research was conducted through a survey of 355 women in their 20s and older. The survey consisted of 24 questions which were divided into pattern, color, material, and recognition type questions. The research results are as follows. First, most adult women answered that a New-Hanbok skirt is appropriate to wear at a holiday, anniversary, or outer dress for the spring and autumn seasons, and the design is the most important thing when considering buying. However, the ratios of wearing experience and possession were very low. Second, the preferred design aspects of a New-Hanbok skirt were the Jarak-skirt or Deot-skirt, calf-length, 5cm width of the waistband, 3cm uniform crease, a normal length waistband, bright neutral colors, and a waistband in different colors. For the double skirt, the design that shows 4cm of lining fabric and the different colors of upper fabric was the most preferred. The most preferred material was plain cotton. On the other hand, small floral patterns were preferred for patterned materials, and opaque upper fabric was most preferred for the double skirt. Through this study, it was confirmed that the Hanbok is seen as a positive aspect for modern consumers.

다공성 은의 폴리실록센 첨가에 따른 물성 변화 (Properties of Porous Silver with Polysiloxane Addition)

  • 20 ㎛급 은 분말과 53 ㎛급 소금 30 wt%의 혼합체에 폴리실록센을 1~4 wt%까지 첨가시키고 750℃-60min 소결하고, 소금을 선택적으로 녹여내어 액상 향수를 담지할 수 있는 다공체를 제작하였다. 소결전후에 폴리실록센 첨가량에 따라 기공, 경도, 그리고 미세구조의 변화를 확인하였다. 제작한 은 담지체는 소결 전후 모두 열린 기공으로 형성되고, 소결 후에는 지름 및 높이 방향으로 2~7 % 수축하였다. 비커스 경도는 소결 후 모두 증가하였고, 특히 2 wt%의 폴리실록센을 첨가한 경우 소결 전보다 2배 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 미세구조의 경우 폴리실록센 첨가에 따라 은 담지체 표면상태는 어두워졌고, 기공이 50 ㎛에서 10 ㎛ 이하로 작아지는 것을 확인하였다. 조성분포 확인 결과 폴리실록센 2 wt% 첨가하였을 때 고루 분포되어 있었으며, 3 wt%이상 첨가하였을 때 뭉쳐져서 강도가 저하되는 문제가 있었다. 따라서 열린기공을 가진 다공성 은에 대해 주얼리 용도로 2 wt%의 적정량의 폴리실록센을 첨가하여 성공적인 강화가 가능하였다.

패션 산업 내 3D 프린팅 사용 현황 및 패션디자인과 내의 활용방안 (The Current Status of 3D Printing Use in Fashion Industry and Utilization Strategies for Fashion Design Departments)

  • This study explored cases of 3D printing utilization in domestic and overseas fashion industries, and presented utilization strategies for fashion design departments in universities in future by grasping characteristics of newly appearing distribution types through 3D printing. Cases of producing costumes using 3D printing in fashion industry comprised a bikini using the material of Nylon12 that continuum fashion demonstrated, innovative 3D costumes by Iris Van Herpen, Tweed Suit using the material that Chanel manufactured with 3D printing technology, but they were limited to experimental fashion works due to limitations of 3D printer material and printing size. On the other hand, in fashion accessories, with jewelry and shoes at the head of the list, MCM and Kipling also demonstrated bags using this technology, and Elvis Pompilio and Gabriela Ligenza demonstrated 3D printing hat products as well. Except the above, as in glasses and neckties utilizing 3D printing, owing to reduced limitations of time, size and material, 3D printing was found to be utilized in fashion accessories other than costumes. Recently there has been a new consumption and distribution structure coming up focusing on 3D printing technology. That is, in overseas countries, content platforms sharing products modeled by oneself has rapidly appeared, and in our country as well, funnypoly, a 3D content platform appeared in 2015. The appearance of these new types of distribution structures means that the common people can produce design contents, and we believe that it may bring about a change in the traditional way of distribution structure. To walk in step with this change, it is believed that it is necessary for fashion design departments to raise college faculty members who can educate 3D printing, develop curriculum to educate 3D printing, and develop experiential programs connected with middle and high schools.

Do Phillips Curve Respond Asymmetrically to Unemployment? Evidence from Korea and the U.S.

  • Purpose - This study empirically analyses the changes in unemployment rates to understand push factors of generating wage pressure and how it affects the aggregate demand in Korea and the United States. We use a structural macroeconomic model which is centered on the labor market and simultaneously explains the natural rate of unemployment and deviations. Research design, data and methodology - We attempt to empirically analyse the unemployment rates through two countries to analyse the economic effects of real wages and aggregate demand between 2000 and 2016. We introduce having estimated the whole model that the growth of unemployment into the part caused by each of these factors. Results - The results of this study show that in the long run, there is not only a natural level of employment but also a natural level of real demand are positively related. in the short run, demand can vary from bring about changes in employment by means of price or wage surprises. Conclusions - The pressure of demand in the labor market shows up strongly in both countries. The estimated labor-demand equation are consistent with this framework and generally have well defined real wage and demand effects.

The Job Seekers Model: Comparison of the General Search Model and the Unified Approach Model

  • Purpose: Unemployment in its general form is a result stemming from the decisions of workers to search for a new and better paying job. In this study, the view that unemployed workers were not simply desiring any job, but one that would maximize their expected future outcome, was examined. Research design, data, and methodology: In order for collection of data and analysis, the panel dates of individual applications for job openings on job search websites were utilized to examine search effort and period for individuals. Results: It was found that the number of applications sent by a job seeker declined over their period of job searching, and that job seekers over a long duration of time tend to send relatively more applications per week throughout their entire search period. The latter finding contradicts the implications of the standard labor search effort models. Conclusions: It can be observed that these job search models fail to capture several key elements in search efforts, and that the search time for an offer is not entirely predetermined by the labor market conditions and socio-economic (individual) characteristics of the searcher. It can be shortened as he or she intensifies their job search efforts.
