고집적 GaAs 디지틀 집접회로 제작을 위한 Self-aligned MESFET 공정

  • 저전력 고집적 GaAs 디지틀 IC에 적합한 기본 논리회로인 DCFL (Direct Coupled FET Logic) 을 구현하기 위한 소자로 WSi게이트 MESFET 공정을 연구하였으며, 이와 함께 TiPtAu 게이트 소자를 제작하였다. MESFET 의 제작은 내열성게이트를 이용한 자기정렬 이온주입 공정을 사용하였으며 주입된 Si 이온은 급속열처리 방법으로 활성화하였다. 또한 제작공정중 저항성 접촉의 형성은 절연막을 이용한 리프트 - 오프 공정을 이용하였다. 제작된 WSi게이트 MESFET은 $1\mum$ 게이트인 경우 222mS/mm의 트랜스컨덕턴스를 나타내어 우수한 동작특성과 집적회로 공정의 적합성을 보였으며 이와 동등한 공정조건으로 제작된 TiPtAu 게이트 MESFET 은 2" 기판 내에서 84mV의 임계전압 변화를 나타내었다.

The Variation of Radiation Transmittance by the cw 1.07 ㎛ Fiber Laser and Water Aerosol Interaction

  • Among the atmospheric effect of laser propagation, the variations of the radiation transmittance by water aerosol evaporation have quantitatively been investigated. When the aerosol was exposed by a 1.07 ${\mu}m$ cw fiber laser, the increased amount of the transmittance variation was a maximum of 19.1% and the volume concentration variation of aerosol was observed as an increasing of laser intensity. Also, significant irregularity of refractive index was not found in the heated area during the continuous laser heating.

  • Two-stage power factor correction (PFC) converter with a single PWM controller is proposed. It consists of a power factor pre-regulator cascaded by an isolated DC/DC converter as in a conventional two-stage approach. However, a single PWM controller is used as in a single-stage, single-switch PFC approach. This converter gives the goof power factor correction, low line current harmonic distortions, and tight output voltage regulations. This converter also has a high efficiency by employing an soft switching method. The proposed approach has advantages such as high performance over the single-stage approach and low cost over two-stage approach. The experimental results obtained on a 300W (30V/10A) prototype PFC converter are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

  • 본 논문에서는 직렬 멀티 모듈형 무정전 전원 장치(UPS, Uninterruptible power supply) 시스템의 배터리 밸런싱 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 배터리의 고유 특성에 의한 SOC(State of charge) 차이를 최소화시키기 위해 각 배터리의 출력전력 제어를 함으로써 배터리 가용 용량을 높인다. 직렬로 연결된 UPS 모듈의 배터리 전압을 이용하여 전력 지령을 계산하고 이를 바탕으로 각 UPS 모듈의 출력전력을 제어한다. 제안한 배터리 밸런싱 알고리즘의 타당성은 수학적 분석 및 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • An enlarged spleen is considered one of the most common signs of malaria, and splenic rupture rarely occurs as an important life-threatening complication. Splenectomy has been recommended as the treatment of choice for hemodynamically unstable patients. However, a very limited number of splenic rupture patients have been treated with transcatheter coil embolization. Here we report a 38-year-old Korean vivax malaria patient with ruptured spleen who was treated successfully by embolization of the splenic artery. The present study showed that angiographic embolization of the splenic artery may be an appropriate option to avoid perioperative harmful effects of splenectomy in malaria patients.

  • It is known that SOFM has the property of effectively creating topographically the organized map of various features on input signals, SOFM can effectively be applied to the recognition of Korean phonemes. However, is isn't guaranteed that the network is sufficiently learned in SOFM algorithm. In order to solve this problem, we propose the learning algorithm combined with the conventional K-means clustering algorithm in fine-tuning stage. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, we performed speaker dependent recognition experiment using six phoneme classes. Comparing the performances of the Kohonen's algorithm with a proposed algorithm, we prove that the proposed algorithm is better than the conventional SOFM algorithm.

  • Railroad a field of basic industries in Korea had developed as representative transportation means in the interior. But since the 1970s, its transport requirement decrease had influenced in reduced earning. Thus railroad try to find a various subsidiary earning creations. Among the various subsidiary earning creations, a plan of privately financed station buildings is constructing and using. For the mean time the privately financed station have been constructed by in a narrow sensible development. But now like a Yongsan areas surrounding stations development, comprehensive development think over surrounding stations in a wide sensible development. Dae Jaen Station the traffic center of the south part in Seoul had been constructed by privately financed station of Lotte Shopping Co.
