The application of renewable energy in electric power systems is growing rapidly in order to make provision for the inequality of the climate, the dwindling supplies of coal, oil and natural gas and a further rise in oil prices. Solar cell generators(SCG) is one of the fastest growing renewable energy. A study on the renewable energy is getting more important for the application of renewable energy. This paper presents the capacity factor of SCG by calculating the probabilistic production energy of SCG.

For the development of novel anticancer agent. we have designed. synthesized. and tested novel 4-phenyl-1(N)-arylsulfonylimidazolidinones. As a result. much more potent cytotoxicities of these compounds against the various cancer cell lines than those of doxorubicin were demonstrated. Elaboration on aryl motif on sulfonyl moiety led us to find highly potent 4-phenyl-1-(N-acylindoline-5-sulfonyl)imidazolidinones. Among them, 4-phenyl-l- ［N-(p-aminobenzoyl)indoline-5-sulfonyl］imidazolidinone (PA) was proved to have good pharmacological profile. (omitted)

Novel arylsulfonylimidazolidinones were previously demonstrated to have broad and highly potent cytotoxicities against a wide range of cancer cell line. Among them 4-phenyl-l N-(p-aminobenzoyl)indoline-5-sulfonyl imidazolidinone (PA) was proved to have good pharmacological profile. Recently modification of indoline moiety of PA led us to find new analogs which show better pharmacological profiles compared to PA. (omitted)

Objectives : Fructus mume(F. mume) has been used as a medicine for thousands of years in East Asia and reported to have effect on cognitive deficits induced by chronic cerebral hypoperfusion. We investigated F. mume's effects on psychiatric and central nervous system in medical classics. Methods : 25 materia medica books and Donguibogam were searched to find psychiatric and central nervous system effects of F. mume. Two Korean Medicine doctors reviewed the effects from the clinical point of view. Results : 安心(relieve psychiatric discomfort), 令人得睡 治不眠(Treat insominia), 去煩悶(relieve chest discomfort) were psychiatric effects and 偏枯不仁(hypoesthesia accompanied with hemiplegia) was central nervous system effect of F. mume. Conclusions : Further studies will be needed to demonstrate F. mume's effects found in medical classics.

We have determined the orientational distribution functions (OBFs) at both air and substrate isotropic interfaces of a chiral chitosan bio-polymer film by the measurements of surface second-harmonic generation (SHG). It was shown that the simultaneous SHG analysis of both interfaces, based on the macroscopic and microscopic relations, provides all the informations on the nonlinear optical (NLO) activity. Sarcoidosis is a systemic disease of unknown etiology that can involve almost any organ systems, characterized by the presence of non-caseating granulomas in affected organs. Typically, the lungs and mediastinal lymph nodes are the most-affected sites, with cutaneous manifestations being the second. Subcutaneous nodules are a rare manifestation of cutaneous sarcoidosis, and it is even rarer for subcutaneous sarcoidosis to be associated with pulmonary sarcoidosis. Here, we present a case of subcutaneous sarcoidosis of the distal lower leg associated with pulmonary sarcoidosis.

Objective : This study's purpose was to review the clinical studies of Oryeong-San. Method : We searched papers about Oryeong-San using KISS, KTKP, PUBMED, Embase, Science Direct, and the key words "Goreisan", "Goreito", "Wu Ling San", "Oryeongsan", "Poria Five Powder" were used. Papers not matched with inclusion criteria were excluded. Results : Until today, there have been 133 studies on the effects of head diseases, urinary system diseases, edema, and other various effects of Oryeong-San. Of these, 23 studies were classified as clinical research papers. There were 8 cases of head diseases, 5 cases of urinary system diseases, 3 cases of edema, 2 cases of adjuvant, 1 case of Dysmenorrhea, 1 case of Primary Hypertension, 1 case of Primary Insomnia, 1 case of hydrocele, 1 case of side effects causing TINU syndrome. Conclusion : It can be seen that Oryeong-San has established the basis for application to the purpose of head disease(chronic subdural hematoma, hydrocephalus, hearing loss), urinary system disease(stone, urinary tract infection), edema, adjuvant, other hypertension and insomnia. On the other hand, considering one case that causes side effect of TINU syndrome, caution should be exercised when observing the progress of the patient taking the Oryeong-San.

Objectives : In order to comprehend and utilize external therapy, we considered that we needed to research Wu Shi-Ji who was a medical specialist of external therapy. We looked at the special study on external therapy in his book, ${\ll}li-yao-pian-wen{\gg}$, especially ; in this part his generai approach to external therapy was well-detaiied. Methods : We translated and analyzed . Results : In , he gives a supplementary explanation about the insufficient attention paid to external therapy, 膏(gao) - (ti) 坐(zuo) (yu) 抹(mo) 纏法(chan fa), through San Jiao(三焦). And he insisted on his conception of external therapy: ointment(膏) and the moth of sneezing, sitting on herbs(坐), steaming or attaching herbs patients's navel, rubbing(抹) and binding(縛), based on ${\ll}nei-jing{\gg}$ and ${\ll}shang-han-lun{\gg}$. He put forward the general rules of external therapy using those methods. And through , he explained that the efficacy of his external therapy was basically the same as internal therapy and medicine, the only difference was in the method. In addition, this external therapy has some merits when compared with internal medicine. First, it's easier to diagnose a disease and treat patients compared to internal medicine. For instance, when a patient has a problem with his abdomen, we just have to diagnose a disease of the abdomen and treat using one method of external therapy on the abdomenal area. Second, external therapy has fewer side effects. And third, we can utilize the meridian theory when we use external therapy. Conclusions : Through , we basically understood his conception of external therapy. Although more research is needed, we suggest that we need to enlarge our usage of external therapy, not just confine ourselves to smaller areas of focus. His point of view suggests that external therapy is not merely an adjunct to internal therapy, but an interdependent course of study and action in its own right.

A compact dual-band three-way metamaterial power divider is proposed that has three in-phase outputs. Fully printed composite rightand left-handed (CRLH) unequal and equal power dividers are first implemented for 900-MHz and 2.4-GHz bands with the power-division ratios of 2:1 and 1:1, respectively. An initial 1:1:1 power divider is then achieved by incorporating the input of the two-way equal block into an output of the unequal block, and trimming the interconnection parameters. The condition of an identical phase at the three outputs of the power divider is then met by devising a hybrid CRLH phase-shift line to compensate for the different phase errors at the two frequencies. This scheme is confirmed by predicting the performance of the power divider with circuit analysis and full-wave simulation and measuring the fabricated prototype. They results show agreement; the in-phase outputs as well as the desirable power-division are accomplished and outdo the conventional techniques.

For the safety of sea, it is important to monitor sea fog, one of the dangerous meteorological phenomena which cause marine accidents. To detect and monitor sea fog, Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data which is capable to provide spatial distribution of sea fog has been used. The previous automatic sea fog detection algorithms were focused on detecting sea fog using Terra/MODIS only. The improved algorithm is based on the sea fog detection algorithm by Wu and Li (2014) and it is applicable to both Terra and Aqua MODIS data. We have focused on detecting spring season sea fog events in the Yellow Sea. The algorithm includes application of cloud mask product, the Normalized Difference Snow Index (NDSI), the STandard Deviation test using infrared channel ($STD_{IR}$) with various window size, Temperature Difference Index(TDI) in the algorithm (BTCT - SST) and Normalized Water Vapor Index (NWVI). Through the calculation of the Hanssen-Kuiper Skill Score (KSS) using sea fog manual detection result, we derived more suitable threshold for each index. The adjusted threshold is expected to bring higher accuracy of sea fog detection for spring season daytime sea fog detection using MODIS in the Yellow Sea.
