  • Recently, variety Web applications which is used Web2.0 are being developed and serviced. In this paper, we implemented Schedule Management Program for the individual and group based on Ajax applications, which apply the MVC design pattern with Java Servlet in order to complement Schedule Management Program which is developed with server-script languages. Also, we improved utilization of applications to provide various additional service through mash-ups built by combing APIs.

  • This paper proposes structural analysis on the World Wide Web to form a part of the architectural design project. It purposes modeling space frames and a structural analysis program on the internet only by inputting basic data for forming a shape in the whole phase of space frame analysis. The analysis data is conducted by Oracle DBMS(DataBase Management System), GUI(Graphic User Internet) by Java Applet and connection with server and database by Java Servlet respectively. The result from modeling and analysis is provided as graphic and text file forms by web browsers. Programs can be executed irrespective of user's OS by using internet and highly-secured system is constructed taking advantage of Java. Of great efficiency is maintaining and recycling data as the whole is dealt by database from the beginning to the end of program.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a home network management system through a web browser. All digital devices are connected to a set-top box on which personal java environment is installed through an IEEE1394 serial bus. The embedded web server on the set-top box supports persistent-connection of HTTP1.1 and servlet engine for JSDK2.1. The home network management system is developed as the form of a servlet and uses JNI to access IEEE1394 device driver\`s APIs. When a client selects an icon related with a device the user interface applet of the device is downloaded into a client\`s web browser and communicates with a related servlet through TCP/IP APIs.

  • There have been continuous efforts for developing the automatic mechanical design system to increase the efficiency of the tedious design process. However, these efforts have been concentrated on single platform application. Hence, the developed systems have been available only in a designated place and time and have been difficult to modify. It is proposed in this study that a web-based design system is developed to offer more reliability and convenience without any restriction of tine and place. The developed system is programed based on Java, and architecture of the system has object-oriented features of Servlet and JSP and is independent on any operating systems. The developed system has been applied to the initial design of multi-stage gear dirves but however as the framework of the developed system is quite versatile, its application to automatic design of any mechanical system or evaluation can be easily expected.

  • 인터넷의 빠른 보급으로 인해 교육용 시스템은 독립형 교육시스템에서 최신의 정보를 실시간으로 얻을 수 있는 웹 기반 교육시스템으로 변화하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자들이 제공한 프로그램을 관리자가 교육시스템내에서 구조체와 함수 단위로 분석한다. 분석된 구조체와 함수는 구조체 파일과 함수 파일로 파일 시스템에 저장되고, 저장된 구조체 파이과 함수 파일의 정보는 데이터베이스에 추가된다. 그 후, 제공된 소스 파일을 HTML문서로 변환하는 과정에서 구조체와 함수는 데이터베이스에서 구조체와 함수 파일을 찾게되고, 발견하면 각각의 파일 정보를 이용하여,

  • XML data를 VRML을 사용하여 시각적으로 나타내는 방법을 연구하였다. 현재 Web 환경은 동적으로 문서를 생성하고 사용자가 보기 쉽게 그래픽으로 표현하는 방향으로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 환경에서 XML은 실시간으로 data를 생성하기 쉬워 많이 사용되고 있으나 text 기반이기 때문에 data를 가시화하여 사용자한테 보여주기 힘들다는 단점이 있다. 이에 VRML을 XML과 결합하여 실시간으로 변화는 data를 VRML과 같은 시각화 도구를 사용하여 표현하는 방법에 대해 연구를 하였다. 본 논문에서는 Java Servlet을 사용하여 XML 문서에서 data를 추출하여 VRML 코드를 만들고, 그 코드를 사용자측에 전달하여 시각적으로 data를 볼 수 있도록 하였다.

  • SGS (Splicing Graph Server) is as web application based on the MVC architecture with a Java platform. The specifications of the implemented design pattern are closely associated with the specific requirements of splicing graphs for analyzing alternative splice variants from a single gene. The paper presents the use of MVC architecture using JavaBeans as a model, with a JSP viewer and the servlet as the controller for this bioinformatics web application, with the open source apache/tomcat application server and a MySql database management system.

  • The present study introduces an architecture for performing efficient numerical analysis by using the Internet and three reconstructing methods of existing numerical analysis codes were presented in order to utilize the architecture. These methods were implemented into a computational fluid dynamics program for solving two-dimensional transient flow problems with free surface. The program was reconstructed with Java technologies and compared with the original one. This study will be a preparation for numerical analysis to participate in web services for engineering.

  • Using user monitoring techniques on web, marketing decision makers in cyber shopping malls can gather customer behavior data as well as sales transaction data and customer profiles. In this paper, we present a marketing rule extraction technique for customer behavior analysis in cyber shopping malls, The technique is an application of market basket analysis which is a representative data mining technique for extracting association rules. The market basket analysis technique is applied on a customer behavior log table, which provide association rules about web pages in a cyber shopping mall. The extracted association rules can be used for mall layout design, product packaging, web page link design, and product recommendation. A prototype cyber shopping mall with customer monitoring features and a customer behavior analysis algorithm is implemented using Java Web Server, Servlet, JDBC(Java Database Connectivity), and relational database on windows NT.
