일본 원전사고가 우리나라 소비자의 국내산 수산물 선호에 미친 영향 (The Effects of Japan Fukushima Nuclear Plant Incident on S. Korean Consumers' Responses to Domestic Marine Products)

  • The purpose of this study lies in analyzing the effects of Fukushima nuclear plant incident, due to the earthquake in the northeastern part of Japan, on South Korean consumers'responses to domestic marine products. Survey results show that the response to the event by all consumers is not significant, but not by individual consumer. Empirical results show that if consumers are relatively more interested in health issues, if they consume mollusca relatively more among marine products and if they are with children under the age of 14, they increased the consumption of domestic marine products while decreased that of Japanese seafood. On the contrary, if consumers take shellfish products relatively more among seafood, they reduced the consumption of domestic marine products as well as Japanese ones.

방사능 관련 안전정보의 수산물 소비 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the consumption of fishery products in relation with radioactivity-related safety information)

  • This study aims to look at the change in consumer awareness and behavior after Japan's 2013 nuclear power plant's radioactive water leakage and draw implications about them. Findings show that 81% of respondents decreased their consumption of fishery products after the nuclear incident, and kept on showing avoidance of imported fishery products including those from Japan. Also it showed that consumers more importantly considered safety when buying imported fishery products after the nuclear incident. The most common channel of receiving radioactivity safety information on fishery products were TV and online. However, the main reason for decreasing the consumption of fishery products was founded to be based on the inaccuracy of the information provided. However, many people said that they will increase their consumption of all fishery products if provided with accurate radioactivity information. Therefore, if accurate radioactivity information were to be spread effectively to the public, positive consumption rates of fishery products can be shown in the future. The inaccuracy of radioactivity safety information caused the rapid decrease of fishery products consumption in 2013 to be amplified. Therefore, this study showed the importance of the delivery of rapid, accurate and consistent information to consumers.

한일 주거형태 비교에 의한 국산재 이용 증진 방안 고찰 (A Study on Promotion of Domestic Timber Utilization According to Dwelling Type Comparison of Between Korea and Japan)

  • In this study, a dwelling type of Korea and Japan was compared, and consumption rate of domestic timber and its usage was also investigated. In Korea, dwelling type of apartment which constructed by iron and steel-concrete is main shared, but a detached house which is shared at 60% of dwelling type of Japan is mainly constructed by timber. And the rate of the consumption of domestic wood in Japan is 73%. In Japan, there is an effort to substitute imported wood to domestic timber through the promotion of using of domestic timber. Whereas the needs on using of domestic timber gradually emerged. So, the legal about sustainable use of wood is approved by the National Assembly on May 2012. There is not active movement in the aspect of using of domestic timber yet. These causes to the geographical and environmental characteristics, but industry, policy, and the difference of recognize on domestic timber utilization is thought to do greater influence. Hence, it is recommended to make a portfolio of both balanced domestic timber usage and the change of awareness of people by referring to the example of Japan.

일본 보건의료의 소비성향 분석 (Analyses on the Consumption Pattern of the Medical Care in Japan)

  • The consumption of various medical cares is affected not only by income and price but also by the number of household members. This study aims at examining how the number of household members affects the consumption pattern of medical care in Japan. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows; The elasticities of household members on the medical care consumption are estimated to be -2.4 in the 20-years groups in case of total medical care expenditure, 4.1 in the 50-years groups of medical care items, -3.1 in the 40-years groups of medical supplies and equipments, and -5.6 in the 60-years groups and -2.7 in the 50-years groups of medical services.

자포니즘으로서의 북유럽 소비에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Consumption of Nordic Design as Japonisme)

  • 이 논문은 국내에서 수년 전부터 유행하고 있는 북유럽디자인 소비에 대한 분석을 통해 한국 소비문화의 흐름에서 일본의 역할을 조명하는 연구이다. 비서구 국가 중 유일하게 선진 자본주의 국가의 대열에 합류했고 1980년대에는 미국과 경제력을 다투었던 일본이었지만 문화적 영향력에 대한 평가는 낮았다. 그런 일본이 1990년대 들어 대중문화상품으로 동아시아 지역에 어필하다가 대중문화 상품의 인기가 가라앉은 후에는 만화, 게임, 애니메이션 등 오타쿠계 서브컬쳐로 글로벌한 문화적 영향력을 행사하고 있다. 이 글에서는 1990년대부터 부상한 일본 문화의 영향력을 새로운 자포니즘으로 보고 한국의 북유럽 소비가 자포니즘의 매개와 주도 하에 진행되어 왔음을 제시한다. 일본이 구성한 북유럽에 대한 의미와 상징이 한국의 북유럽 소비에서 관철되고 있다는 의미이다. 의미와 스타일의 측면에서 일본의 슬로무비는 북유럽디자인에 미국발 '킨포크' 코드를 결합시켰다. 디자인의 측면에서는 아르누보를 매개로 일본 미학은 북유럽디자인과 시각적 유사성을 얻을 수 있었고 일본 가와이이 자카소품을 통해 북유럽디자인과 시각적 친숙함도 확보했다. 무엇보다 일본 잡화브랜드들이 출시한 북유럽풍 생활소품들을 통해 일상 속으로 북유럽디자인이 스며들었다. 또한 국내의 북유럽 소비는 일본 오타쿠들이 서브컬쳐를 포스트모던하게 소비하는 방식인 데이터베이스 소비방식으로 진행되고 있다. 일본이 만들어낸 북유럽에 대한 모에 요소가 한국에서도 북유럽 소비의 기호로 작동하고 있는 것이다.

  • This study analyzed consumption structures of Korean households of 1991, 1993 and 1995 and compared them to those of Japan and US for setting consumption standards. The study also investigated if consumption structures of Korean and Japanese households are different according to their incomes and age of heads. It was found that the shares of the expenditures for food away home personal transportaton and education to total expenditures had been dramatically increased. It was also found that those shares were greater than those o Japanese and US households especially for younger households and households with highest income level.

한중일 탄소시장 연계의 파급효과 분석 (Economic impacts of linking carbon markets among Korea, China and Japan)

  • 본 연구는 개별 국가 혹은 지역 단위 배출권 거래제도의 국제적 연계 가능성에 대비하기 위해 한 중 일 3국간의 배출권 거래제도 연계 시 예상되는 경제 환경적 영향을 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 연산가능 일반균형모형을 통해 3국간 배출권 거래제 도입의 경제 환경적 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과 한 중 일 3국간 탄소시장의 연계는 국가별로 다양한 측면에서 복잡한 영향을 미치게 됨을 확인할 수 있다. 한 중 일 배출권 거래제 연계 시행은 3국 전체의 실질 GDP를 증가시키는 긍정적 효과가 있음에도 불구하고 연계로 인한 이익의 국가간 분배가 불균형적임은 물론 실질 소비나 고용 등의 측면에서는 탄소시장 연계가 3국 전체적으로도 오히려 부정적인 영향을 초래할 수 있다는 점에서 반드시 긍정적인 효과만을 담보하는 것은 아니다. 특히 배출권 매입국인 한국과 일본의 소득 소비 고용 감소 및 에너지 의존도 증가, 배출권 매출국인 중국의 생산 감소 및 해외 이전 가능성은 3국간 탄소시장의 연계의 장애요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 3국간 탄소시장 연계를 통한 긍정적 효과를 최대한 유지하면서 예상되는 부정적 효과를 최소화하기 위해서는 배출권 수입 관세나 수입배출권 할인과 같은 보완적 정책수단의 개발 적용이 필요하다.

  • This study analyzed the curricula of fashion related majors at 4-year colleges in the USA, UK, Japan and Hong Kong as well as in Korea and compared the characteristics of the Korean curriculum with those of the four countries. A total of 124 curricula from 103 colleges were collected. Courses were divided into eight categories (including industry and market information; materials; merchandise planning; design; production; distribution and selling; basics; and consumption) representing the production and distribution process of fashion business. There were differences in course offerings among the five countries. Overall, curricula in Korea emphasized design and production (construction) areas and showed not much differentiation among colleges. While industry and market information, merchandise planning, and production (management) areas were emphasized in the USA , differentiation/specialization by major was observed . UK and Hong Kong had well-specialized curricula by major Japan seemed to offer traditional and consumption oriented courses. Based on the findings, some propositions for the Korean fashion curriculum were discussed.

  • Increase in daily protein consumption per capita from 1975(85.1 g) to 2001(88.4 g) was 3.3 g. This trend was relatively slower than the case of Japan where daily protein consumption was 84.7 g in 1975 and 90.3 g in 2001. Animal-related protein in 2003 was 45.7 g in which 61% was originated from meat, milk and egg whereas 39% was composed of fish and its relevance. The trend of protein consumption fairly come up with the ideal ratio of 5:5 between animal-originated protein and plant-originated protein, following the base case of Japan. The effect of animal protein on human health can vary depending on one's viewpoint and its controversy is still a subject of debate. For reason, two faces of positive and negative effects on human health coexists. However, there is no doubt that positive effect is far more than negative one. It is not important whether or not animal protein is more beneficial for human health. However, it is more important how human balance between two proteins.

세계 커피시장의 소비실태 및 수출입 동향 비교 분석 고찰 - 한국.미국.일본 시장을 중심으로 - (The Analysis toward Consumption State, Import and Export in the World Coffee Market - The Case of Korea, U.S.A., Japan Market -)

  • This research is to make an attempt the analysis award consumption state, import and export in the world coffee market. This research results were as follows. First, The result of the analysis of Korea coffee market, imports of green bean were 1,316,000 bags from export countries in 2000. Re-exports of processed coffee were 71,000 bags in 2000. Main suppliers were Brazil, Viet Nam, Honduras, Colombia, Indonesia. Second, The result of the analysis of United State coffee market, imports of all forms of coffee were 19.29 million bags. Main suppliers were Brazil(15%), Viet Nam(15%), Colombia(17%) etc. Third, The result of the analysis of Japan market, imports of green beans were 6.37million bags in 2001. Re-exports of processed coffee were 166.000million bags. Consumption per head in 2001 was about 3.5 kg and Japanese coffee consumer now drink on average 11.0 cups per week.
