According as we look around a notion of LM-YANG(陰陽) in NAE-KYUNG(內徑) or ancient for example the Book of Changes(周易), we will find that the principle of UM-YANG of philosophy in ancient china was applied medical science by NAE-KYUNG, and Chung-Kyung(仲景) connected principle of UM-YANG in NAE-KYUNG to demonstration and medical treatment(辨證施治) of SANG-HAN disease(傷寒病). According as we look around 3UM-3YANG(三陰三陽) in NAE-KYUNG and various theories of another scholar connected 3UM-3YANG of SANG-HAN-RON(傷寒論), we can know that the whole of SANG-HAN-YUK-KYUNG(傷寒六經) cannot explain by a some conception, we cannot understand precisely rear meaning of SANG-HAN-YUK-KYUNG until theories-JANG-BU(臟腑), GYUNG-RAK(經絡), GI-HWA(氣化), a reigon, a layer, and so on-are studied totally. Therefore 3UM-3YANG of SANG-HAN-RON(傷寒論) is basically the thing of specialization UM-YANG, eventually UM-YANG are two functional characteristics in human body. It is specialized to 3UM-3YANG by spatial and time criteria. When we consider a question in its aspect, YUK-KYUNG is synthetic six classifications of human body's functional system that include(3UM-3YANG)GYUNG-RAK, related JANG-BU, distributional area of GYUNG-RAK, vicissitude of UM-YANG, more or less of GEE-HYUL(氣血), function of GAE-HAB-CHUL(開闔樞), and the like; and disease of YUK-KYUNG of SANG-HAN-RON are the very six types of disease that appeared by dint of mal function of each synthetic functional system.

Obejective : Based on ${\ll}$sixty-ninth Nan${\gg}$ (${\ll}$難經${\cdot}$六十九難${\gg}$) the interpromoting of the five element's balance method to discuss following 'when deficiency than should strengthen mother and when excessive than eliminate son' theories. Method : This strengthening and eliminating method is based on Jang-bu organ's balance method when 'east is excessive (liver excessive (肝實 )) and west is deficiency (lung deficiency (肺虛))' then 'eliminate the south and strengthen the north's method. Results : The seventy-fifth Nan (${\ll}$難經${\cdot}$七十五難${\gg}$) explains' son effects mother's excessive and mother effects son's deficiency' theory where it balance method of the inter-overacting five elements controlling Jang-bu organ's differentiations. The eighty-first Nan (${\ll}$難經${\cdot}$八十一難${\gg}$) explains strengthening-eliminating method of 'lung excessive and liver deficiency.' Since there are two different perspective of seventy-fifth and eighty-first Nan, we must compare and discuss to make right point of view. Conclusion : the treatment method in ${\ll}$Nan kyoung sixty ninth nan${\gg}$ could be understood as a view of five element constitutional theory (五行體質理論), the treatment method in ${\ll}$Nan kyoung seventyty-fifth nan${\gg}$ of eleminating fire and strengthning water in case of liver excess and lung defficiency and the treatment method in ${\ll}$Nan kyoung eighty-first nan${\gg}$ of strengthning liver and eleminating lung in case of lung excess and liver defficiency could be understood as a view of the yin-yan constitutional theory (陰陽體質理論).

Objectives : The aim of this study is to review the acupoints used in cocaine studies and interpret the effectiveness in an aspect of meridian theory of Korean medicine. Methods : Authors searched 50 articles in PubMed, 16 in KISS, 9 in OASIS, 40 in NDSL, and 19 in DBPIA, with the keyword of 'cocaine' or 'acupuncture'. The articles written in English only were included. The articles related with cocaine(abuse, dependence, sensitization, intake, withdrawal sign, withdrawal syndrome, reinstatement, seeking) only were subjected. The articles which used manual- or electro-acupuncture were included, and auricular was excluded. Results : The most frequently used acupoint was HT7, while LI4, LU9, ST36, and SP6 were used once respectively. HT7 could be understood to be used from the meaning of the name as well as the theory that Heart Meridian is deeply related with the brain function. LU9 seems to be used to enhance the effect of HT7. LI4 is thought to control reverting yin that flows toward the top of head following the theory of Jang Bu Sang Tong. ST36 appears to be used because it could regulate stress reaction that reverting yin is associated with. SP6 seems to have effect on brain function due to its ability to control spiritual disorder. Conclusions : The acupoints used in the cocaine studies are thought to influence the brain function through diverse mechanism, and Jang Bu Sang Tong theory seems to be involved in the mechanism, at least in part.

If we eat long time foods that don't suit our constitution, health is broken and we take a disease. Therefore, care of foods and taking medicine by constitutional notion have a object that is normal control of constitution. It is attained when we maintain an adequate balance of Jang and Bu(臟腑) organs functional deflection. Theory of SaSang constitution by Lee-Jae Ma provides us a proper base of theory. But, later foods and drugs classified by constitution, that is suggestied by many scholars, is some different. Therefore, it is doubtful whether choice of foods and drugs suitable to constitution is right. If we use foods and drugs suitable to constitution exactly, we can decrease a side effect arisen from unsuitableness. On this, I study by literatures in order to provide foundational data. Lee-Jae Ma classified four species constitution, I compared twelve literatures by constitution, classified profit and harmful foods, and arranged and classify drugs that literature writer suggests in common. On base of this study, I suggest that foods and drugs classified by constitution is as follows. 1. Lee-Jae Ma made SaSang constitution medicine, but didn't suggestied use of foods, therefore, commoness of foods constitutional classification must be arranged. 2. Also commoness of drugs constitutional classification must be arranged. 3. Other literatures must be compared and analyzed except those of this study, because I didn't analyze many SaSang literatures.

Purpose. This study was to investigate that the adjustment of Chiropractic pelvis method have effect on body balance and improvement people who has some problem in their daily life. Methods. With 20 students of experiment group and 20 students of compare group who has cervical syndrome, experiment group has adjustment of chiropractic pelvis 2 times a week for 4 weeks, the other group who didn't take any action. Results. As a result, center of body of experiment group wasn't improved relations between left and right statistically. But the relations between front and back of center of body increased statistically, cross analysis relations between short leg and center of body increased statistically. Conclusions. As a conclusion, experiment group with the front of center of body was improved 12.88% average of center of body. Experiment group with back of center of body was improved 13.84% average of center of body. This result come to the conclusion that chiropractic pelvis adjustment help the front and back of body balance.

We proposed a design method for squib current supply & interlock circuits in guided-missile fire control systems. In order to design squib current supply circuits, various missile squib loads including line resistance and squib devices have to be considered in advance minimizing probability of redesign of circuits and reducing the development cost by implementing the most proper squib current supply circuit. Also, we presented a hardware interlock logic instead of the commonly used software safety logic to improve the safety of guided-missile fire control systems. The proposed squib interlock circuit enhances safety requirements of guided-missile fire control systems. We confirmed that simulation and measurement results of the proposed design method are the same as theoretical analysis results.

Recently, twin-tunnel is often designed considering the aspects of disaster prevention and economic reasons. However, the design cases and the studies are relatively insufficient. By the twin-tunnel excavation, deviate stresses of pillar between tunnels are increased and the increased stresses induce the instability of the twin-tunnel. In this study, numerical analyses about the twin-tunnel behaviour are conducted while varying ground strength, width of pillar and depth of earth cover and a series of regression analyses are carried out by using the results of numerical analyses for the twin-tunnel. Based on the numerical analyses, an estimation method of derived stresses is suggested though the regression analyses. Also, based on the results of regression analyses, an quantitative estimation method considering the reinforcement effects is also suggested. Then various parametric studies are conducted to be considered the reinforcement type and various design parameters. Finally, the efficiency of the suggested method is verified through the results of parametric studies.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to take around the oriental medical treatment about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in China. Method : We reviewed the 22 studies about ADHD which were published from 2005 to 2006. We selected those studies from CNKI (中國知識基礎設施工程 http://www.cnki.net). Result : We could find 22 studies about ADHD in CNKI from 2005 to 2006. DSM (III-R of IV) was used frequently in the diagnosis of ADHD. Herbal medicines, acupuncture, auricular therapy, moxibustion, chuna treatment, cupping therapy were used in the tre atments of ADHD. Differentiation of syndromes-Eum deficiency, heart and spleen deficiency, Damwha- was important in the diagnosis and treatments of ADHD in TCM. Jang and Bu(the internal organs; 臟腑) concerned in differentiation of syndromes about ADHD were Liver 肝, Kidney 賢, Heart 心, Spleen 脾. Most of studies reported very good results compared with western medicine treatment- Ritalin medication. Conclusion :There have been reported many ADHD clinical studies in China and these studies can be applied to the clinical practices in Korea.

All living things including human being consist of soul(spirit) and body. Soul is the root of a life and body frames it. I wrote this paper to tell how internal injury due to endogenous etiological factors and affection due to exogenous pathogenic factors, affect the internal organs and the external bodily from. This paper begins with description of the patterns of disharmony of the internal organs. General disorders of each Five-Jang(五藏) an be classified into two types of soul and body. The Liver and the Heart which lead changing to Yang(陽) of vital energy, have close relationship with spiritual symptoms because spirit is related to Yang. The Lung, Kidneys, the Spleen which lead changing to m(陰) of vital energy, mainly connected with physical disorders because body is relatively close to m. The Five-Jang are ruled by the Five-Phases(五行) system and cause troubles with Oche(五體) and the nine body orifice. Otherwise the main function of the Six-Bu(六府) is to receive food, absorb the usable portions, and transmit and excrete waste. Therefore they can cause such problems as abdominal pain, distention, difficulty in urination, and constipation. The spleen is responsible for sending Grain-Ki(穀氣) so that is closely connected with the six-Bu. The Gall bladder takes care of control of giving out spirit. That's why it presents many symptoms related to the spirit that is ruled by the Five-Jang. Patterns of disharmony of external bodily form is influenced by the state of Meridians. Bodily forms get divided into many parts by the function of six-meridians(六經) to which they belong. Six-meridians have their own function related to excretion, related to excretion, retention, and balance(開闔樞). If local bodily forms get affected by pernicious influences, the Meridians to which they are attached will lose harmony and cannot fulfil their own functions. Because the meridian system unifies all parts of the body, the whole body will be under the influence of the affection although local parts of the bodily forms get affected. Therefore the symptoms of disharmony should be considered in a synthetic view. There are however, also cases which should be focused on the very meridian channels affected. Disorder within a Meridian generates derangement in the pathway make it not to benefit the muscles and skin belong to it. Because the meridians connect the interior organs with the exterior bodily form, they are influenced by each other.

The purpose of this study is to understand a term of 'Jangbu theory 臟腑論' in 'Dong-Eui-Su-Se-Bo-Won 東醫壽世保元'. The conclusion would be summerized as follows. 1. 'Jangbu theory 臟腑論' of 'Sa-Sang medicine 四象醫學' is based on 'Sa-Sang structure 四象構造'. 2. 'Mind 心' of 'Sa-Sang medicine 四象醫學' is recognised as the Lord of body. 3. 'four-Jang 四臟' and 'four-Bu 四腑' constitute 'Sa-Sang structure 四象構造' which is based on the deviation of 'vital energy 氣', and 'four-Jang 四臟' plays a loading role. 4. 'Sacho 四焦' explains the whole function of human body including one's heart's desire, physical constitution and the visceral physiology. 5. 'ear-eye-nose-mouth 耳目口鼻' is connected with 'the profound secrets of nature 天機' and also has a close relation with creation of 'spirit-vital energy-blood-essence 神氣血精' and spiritual fuction. 6. 'SaHae theory 四海論' of 'Dong Mu 東武' is philosophical concept set on the basis of 'nature 天性' and 'life 人命'. 7. 'spirit-vital energy-blood-essence 神機血精' doesn't have the relation of mutual transformation. It's creation and consumption lies on 'the power of ear-eye-nose-mouth 耳目口鼻之力'. 8. 'Sa-Sang medicine 四象醫學' expands its theory centering on the deviation of 'vital energy 氣' and the transversal circulation of 'SaHae 四海' According to the above result, 'Jangbu theory 臟腑論' in 'Dong-Eui-Su-Se-Bo-Won 東醫壽世保元' should be understood on the basis of 'Sacho 四焦' and 'SaHae 四海' according to 'Sa-Sang structure 四象構造', accompanying philosophical thinking focused on human and society, the centural concept of 'Jangbu theory 臟腑論' could be said as 'Mind 心' to be the Lord of body.
