Task Allocation Algorithm for Heterogeneous Multiprocessor Systems Using Heuristic Technique (이질형 다중 프로세서 시스템에서 휴리스틱 기법을 이용한 타스크 할당 알고리즘)

  • In homogeneous multiprocessor systems, the task allocation algorithm which equally assigns tasks to processors if possible is generally used. But this algorithm is not suitable to accomplish to accomplish effective task allocation in heterogeneous multiprocessor systems. JSQ (Join the Shortest Queue) algorithm is often used in heterogeneous multiprocessor systems. Unfortunately, JSQ algorithm is not efficient when the differences of capabilities of processors are far large. To solve this problem, we suggest a heuristic task allocation algorithm that makes use of dynamic information such as task arrival time, task service time, and number of finished tasks. The results of simulation show that the proposed heuristic allocation algorithm improves the system performance.

Job-specific Questionnaire for Estimating Exposure to Hazardous Agents among Semiconductor Workers (반도체 공정 근로자 직무 노출을 추정하기 위한 설문(Job-specific Questionnaire) 개발)

  • Objectives: One major limitation encountered in retrospective exposure assessment for epidemiological study is the lack of exposure records and information maintained by companies which if they existed would allow the estimation of past exposure to hazardous operations and agents. This study developed a job-specific questionnaire(JSQ) to estimate exposure profiles among semiconductor workers, including operation and job. Methods: This JSQ can be directly applied to workers who work or have worked in a wafer fabrication or a chip packaging and assembly facility. Results and Conclusions: We used this JSQ to obtain past exposure information from semiconductor workers via face-to-face investigation. Major contents include questions on the facilities, operations and jobs to which they have been exposed since they entered employment in the semiconductor industry. The total number of questions in the JSQ is 18. Responses to this JSQ can be used not only to estimate retrospective exposure to operations and jobs in the semiconductor industry, but also to associate with the risk of all causes of death and risk of disease, including cancer.

  • In this paper, we discribed characteristics of two buffer which are limited area in packet communication networks, we selected JSQ(Join the Shortest Queue) method for buffrt management and compared it with single, random methods. The blocking probabilities of massage using JSQ method is decreased about (2.5 times) in compared with that of single queue method and (0.5 times) in random selection method. This results could be used in designing packet switching communication networks.

熔接構造物 의 不整量 에 대하여

  • 용접구조물에는 필연적으로 용접에 의해서 생기는 부정량이 존재한다. 용접에 의해서 건조되는 선체구조에 있어서도 misalignment를 비롯하여 과대한 gap, 팬널(panel)의 초기변형, 용접에 의한 수축과 같은 부정량이 존재하여 선속 불록의 정도와 선체 강도에 영향을 주게 된다. 그래서 일본에서는 건조되는 동선의 품질을 고도로 유지하면서 공수를 될 수 있는 한 줄이기 위하여 이론과 실속이 뒷받침된 신속도가 높은 품질표준을 설정하는 것이 필요하다고 판단하여 1964년에 '일본동선공작법표준, japan shipbuilding quality standard(JSQS)'를 제정하였다. 그 내용에는 소재, 현도, 내용 가공부재, 조립 블록, 선형확보, 다듬질, 변형량등 주로 공정순에 따라 각각 구 분을 정한 항목마다 표준범위와 허용 한계가 표시되어 있다. 지금부터 용접에 의한 부정량의 대표예로써, 용접에 의한 변형과 잔유응력, 이음에서의 gap과 misalignment에 대하여 말하고 아울러 부정량과 JSQS와의 관계에 대해서도 간단히 말하겠다.

Comparison of Karasek's Job Content Questionnaire and Korea Occupational Stress Scale (Karasek의 Job Content Questionnaire와 Korea Occupational Stress Scale의 비교 연구)

  • According to the report of the WHO, workers have been exposed to much job strain such as job load, responsibility, role, interpersonal conflict etc. In Korea, studies on job strain started to become active from 1990s and now hundreds of studies are actively under going or publishing so that the studies are contributing to development and improvement of job strain. Representative measurement models of job strain are Job Strain Model of Karasek, Job Stress Model of NOISH, Korea Occupational Stress Scale, JSQ(Job Stress Questionnaire), K-OSI(Korea Version of Occupational Stress Inventory) etc. (Lee Kwan-Suk, 2012 ; KOSHA, 2003). Among them, Job Strain Model of Karasek had been loved by many researchers of job strain before Korea Occupational Stress Scale was developed. Job Strain Model of Karasek had been fitted to Korean style and then, used to analyze job strain of Korean people so that this Scale highly contributed to seeking relationship with cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal disease caused by job, smoking, drug, alcohol poisoning, and pulse(Lee Kwan-Suk, 2012). But as this Model was studied and developed based on foreign culture and life pattern, a model fit to Korea was developed to measure job strain for Korean people, which is Korea Occupational Stress Scale now most frequently used in measuring job strain. Accordingly, after this study made questionnaire survey about same population using the two methods used most frequently in measuring job strain, the study investigated what features appeared, what correlations appear between two models, and comparatively analyzed characteristics each independent and dependent variable. Based on this, the study aimed to exactly express job strain of Korean people. The subjects of the study were a population of 233, and Karasek's Questionnaire and KOSS's Questionnaire were surveyed at the same time. The results were analyzed by statistical program to obtain significant difference between two models. Four particular groups were divided with Job Strain Model of Karasek and the four particular groups were measured with Korea Occupational Stress Scale. And job strain come from combination of two models was measured, with which new comparative analysis method was suggested.
