A Study on the friction and wear characteristics of gear oils with adding load carrying additives (내하중성 첨가제의 따른 기어유의 마찰$cdot$마모 특성)

  • Friction and wear characteristics of gear oils added load carrying aditives, JS and DBP have been invesitigated using Shell Four Ball Tester and Cygnus and also compared with commercial gear oil. The Gear oil added DBP among them showed excellent friction and wear performances, which is deduced by action mechanism of additives. The surface analysis of the worn balls was conducted using an optical microscope.

  • 아웃도어는 일상공간과 자신으로부터의 탈출이라는 의미가 있다. 아웃도어 활동을 보조하는 다양한 어플리케이션이 있으며 대부분 어플리케이션은 서버에 등록된 코스를 스마트폰에 출력하고, 사람들과 대화하기위한 메신저 기능을 제공한다. 이 논문에서는 지도를 공유하며 채팅을 할 수 있는 웹 어플리케이션 설계을 제시한다.

  • 최근 고성능 웹 애플리케이션 개발을 위한 asm.js. WebAssembly, WebGL, WebGPU와 같은 여러 웹 고속화 기술들이 발표되며 확장되고 있다. 하지만 각 기술들은 개별적으로만 적용 가능하다는 한계점이 있었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웹 브라우저 환경에서 최적화된 실행 성능을 기대할 수 있는 다중 웹 고속화 기술들을 통합 한 실행파일 포맷 및 패키징 방안에 대해 제안하고자 한다.

  • The Web is a way to share documents and communicate. However, voice and video data can be transmission in real time and currently being developed by the objects and the objects that interact to further develop the Internet. Existing video and audio programs to transmission data to the interface of different types of systems a lot of constraint condition on the cost of the interface, extensibility. A Clinical report on insomnia following hospitalization improved by the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy (입원 후 발생한 불면증에 추나 수기 이완요법으로 호전된 치험 1례)

  • For this study, the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy, a therapeutic procedure in Oriental Medicine was carried out on patients suffering from insomnia following hospitalization. If a patient with no prior medical history in insomnia should suffer from insomniac symptoms, the following procedure was carried out on thos patients showing 15 points on the Insomnia Severity Index starting on the day when the patient first complains of symptoms associated with insomnia, stages 1, 2 & 3 of the 'JS Cervical Shinyoun Therapy' in accordance with the Korea Chuna medical Index standard was carried out on the patient's bed from 8pm to 9pm everyday for 1 week. After the 1 week procedure, a medical examination by interview was carried out the following day, and the Insomnia Severity Index measured again. (1 being when the patient's state of sleep is at its worst, and 10 being when it is the most satisfactory. In case of 5 patients, Insomnia is disappeared, and the quality of sleep improved. In regards to insomnia suffered after hospitalization, Stage 1,2 and 3 of "JS Cervical Shinyoun Therapy" for relaxing tension showed effective results to the patient.

Lack of O-Polysaccharide Renders Bradyrhizobium japonicum More Resistant to Organic Acid Stress

  • In previous studies, we isolated an isogenic LPS mutant of Bradyrhizobium japonicum 61A101C, which was completely devoid of O-polysaccharide and had altered cell surface characteristics. Subsequently, the mutated gene was identified, cloned, and used to complement the LPS mutant strain JS314 to restore the phenotype. Since it has been reported that in Escherichia coli LPS O-polysaccharide is involved in resistance to an organic acid such as acetic acid under low pH (Barna et al., Molecular Microbiology 43: 629-640, 2002), we compared the organic acid resistance of the three B. japonicum strains; wild-type 61A101C, the LPS mutant JS314, and the complemented strain to determine whether the role of O-polysaccharide in the resistance to organic acid could be generalized. Growth of all three strains was inhibited by the presence of 3 mM acetic acid under acidic condition (pH 5.5). To our surprise, however, in the presence of 2 mM acetic acid, wild-type and the complemented strains did not grow while the $LPS^-$ mutant showed a significant growth. Therefore, unlike in E. coli, the lack of O­polysaccharide of LPS appears to render B. japonicum more resistant to organic acid.

  • IoT-Cloud service, integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud, is becoming a critical model for realizing creative and futuristic application services. Since IoT machines have little computing capacity, it is effective to attaching public Cloud resources for realizing IoT-Cloud service. Furthermore, utilizing containers and adopting a microservice architecture for developing IoT-Cloud service are useful for effective realization. The quality of microservice based IoT-Cloud service is affected by service function chaining which inter-connects each functions. For example, an issue with some of the functions or a bottleneck of inter-connection can degrade the service quality. To ensure functionality of the entire service, various test procedures considering various service environments are required to improve the service continuously. Hence in this paper, we introduce experimental realization of continuous integration based on DevOps and employ application performance monitoring for Node.js based IoT-Cloud service. Then we discuss its effectiveness.

  • The standards of ventilation system for bi-directional tunnel have not been established now. For this reason, with regard to the bi-directional tunnel below 1km, some problems have been appeared in ventilation capacity designing and in determining whether the mechanical ventilation system is needed or not for each case. In this study, we examine the characteristics of natural ventilations, analyze ongoing ventilation design cases for bi-directional tunnels and classify those cases into two groups. This study is carried out about the capability of using natural ventilating system by calculation of reasonable ventilation capacity in bi-directional tunnel and review of relationship between natural wind speed ($Vr^*$) and required speed(Vreq). This paper aims at providing a basis data for bi-directional tunnel ventilation design standards.

  • Recently, university hospitals have problems as patient datas grows. And it is difficult that medical staffs check patients living on their prescription. Patients don't often remember their prescription, and don't know how to apply the prescription to their life. To solve these problems, To solve these problems, it is customized healthcare service platform using MQTT push notification. It is provided in form of a web application having good accessibility that. Based on doctor's prescription, the patients take notifications that is the timing of medication, medical appointments, and other prescription informations. The results can be entered into the web application. The healthcare professionals can check that the patients are following their prescription well. In this paper, we provide the above functions via the web application and a RESTful API server platform, and notification function can be efficiently performed by MQTT Broker. So we checked the customized healthcare service can be effectively provide.

  • Although the supply of smartphones by the silver generation has increased in recent years, low learning, experience levels and understanding make it difficult to use them. In thid paper, we proposes remote control UI applications to support the use of smartphones by the silver generation. For the proposed application, the key features of the feature phone are arranged in a $3{\times}2$ arrangement on the Home screen to enable quick recognition and proposed application provides remote control via Node.js server and socket communication, in case of difficulties in the use of incidental function, increases the understanding and availability levels of the silver generation using smart phones by providing support through remote control.
