  • In this study, the development and production of electric vehicles and hydrogen vehicles are presented as a method for realizing carbon-neutral. Accordingly, the demand and need for development of underground metal mineral resources such as copper and nickel has increased. The research was carried out using MT survey, which is very useful for deep exploration such as mineral resources and oil exploration because of it's low cost and explorable depth. In Korea, there are very few cases of MT exploration in terms of mineral development, so the study was conducted based on the MT exploration conducted previously in AusLAMP, Australia. Through comparative analysis of the MT exploration data conducted to identify the ore body in the deep area of the Olympic Dam in Australia, with the data directly calculated in 2D inversion, it was confirmed that it can have a positive effect on the possibility of resource development and carbon neutrality using MT exploration in Korea.

  • Nowadays, traffic congestion is emerging as a major problem due to the rapid population growth and the increase in automobiles. The train is a convenient means of transportation that can efficiently solve these problems. Trains have been developed in line with human aspirations for a long time, but research on safety is still insufficient. This study aims to check safety by conducting static tests and fatigue tests on bogie frames, and to help develop bogie frames in the future. For the static test, a strain gauge was attached to the point where the local stress concentration was expected beforehand, and the result value was derived, compared with existing theories, and expressed as a Goodman diagram. In the fatigue test, a total of 10 million loads were applied over three stages, and no cracks appeared in the non-destructive test conducted after each stage. Both tests were conducted according to the strict test method of the bogie frame presented by the UIC Code. It satisfied both fatigue life and strength evaluation criteria and was judged to be a bogie frame usable for safe train production.

  • Lithium-ion batteries have a small volume, light weight and high energy density, maximizing the utilization of mobile devices. It is widely used for various purposes such as electric bicycles and scooters (e-Mobility), mass energy storage (ESS), and electric and hybrid vehicles. To date, lithium-ion batteries have grown to focus on increasing energy density and reducing production costs in line with the required capacity. However, the research and development level of lithium-ion batteries seems to have reached the limit in terms of energy density. In addition, the charging time is an important factor for using lithium-ion batteries. Therefore, it was urgent to develop a high-speed charger to shorten the charging time. In this thesis, a discharger was fabricated to evaluate the capacity and characteristics of Li-ion battery pack which can be used for e-mobility. To achieve this, a smart discharger is designed with a combination of active load, current sensor, and temperature sensor. To carry out this thesis, an active load switching using sensor control circuit, signal processing circuit, and FET was designed and manufactured as hardware with the characteristics of active discharger. And as software for controlling the hardware of the active discharger, a Raspberry Pi control device and a touch screen program were designed. The developed discharger is designed to change the 600W capacity battery in the form of active load.

  • It is now widely recognized that new Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have been changing the way tv which firms conduct their businesses. Examples are the application of enterprise resources planning (ERP) and business process reengineering (BPR) to increase the efficiency of internal resources management, adoption of Business-to-Business e-commerce (B2B e-com) to integrate supply chain, and invention of new marketing channels such as Business-to-Customer (B2C) e-com. These new ways of conducting businesses are believed to help firms to reduce transaction costs and increase productivity. As a result, new ICTs have played an important role in recent growth of many small firms into multi-functional and multi-product corporations and in their spatial expansion towards internationalization as well. This paper takes Haier in China as a case to study the role of new ICTs in the growth of firms and reveal how the new technologies have facilitated the expansion of Haier into a transnational corporation (TNC) by examining the internationalization process of the firm in relation to its adoption of new ICTs in the period from 1990 to 2002. The study reveals that the adoption of new Ins has helped Haier to integrate its functional units located in dozens of places across the world, which is essential to the internationalization of a firm, and to link closely together its worldwide suppliers and customers to achieve just-in-time (JIT) production and delivery. As such, the authors of the paper argue that, without the facilitation of new ICTS, Haier could not have developed into a TNC in less than ten years. It is now widely recognized that new Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have been changing the way tv which firms conduct their businesses. • Today's individual firms no longer compete as solely autonomous entities, but rather as supply chain. As such the competitive position of a port is not only determined by its internal strengths but also it is also affected by its links in a global supply chin. In other words, port competitiveness is becoming increasingly dependent on external coordination and control of the whole supply chain. The main purpose of this paper is to examine how a port embeds itself into supply chain in order to strengthen its competitive position by focusing on Dubai port case. This paper found that Dubai port used three phases-insertion, integration and dominance-as a strategies for how it can embedded into global supply chain successfully. Dubai's global supply chain strategies give some implications for the further development of the Port of Gwangyang. First, the Port of Gwangyang should fully utilize symbiotic relationship with Gwangyang free Economic Zone. Second, the integration between Korea Container Terminal Authority and GYFEZ can be recommended for fast decision-making and providing a one-stop-service. Finally, Gwangyang should pursue an aggressive supply chain strategy, aims at dominance in the regional port network through port alliance with small and medium ports in neighboring area.

  • In the case of the construction industry, the relationship between process and cost should be appropriately distributed so that the finished product can be delivered at the minimum fee within the construction period. At that time, it should be considered the size of the bridge, the construction method, the environment and production capacity of the factory, and the transport distance. However, due to various reasons that occur during the construction period, problems such as construction delay, construction cost increase, and quality and reliability degradation occur. Therefore, a systematic and scientific construction technique and process management technology are needed to break away from the conventional method. The prefab(Pre-Fabrication) is a representative OSC (Off-Site Construction) method manufactured in a factory and constructed onsite. This study develops a resource and process plan optimization system for the process management of the Nodular girder, a prefab bridge girder. A simulation algorithm develops to automatically test various variables in the personnel equipment mobilization plan to derive the optimal value. And, the algorithm was applied to the Paju-Pocheon Expressway Construction (Section 3) Dohwa 4 Bridge under construction, and the results compare. Based on construction work standard product calculation, actual input manpower, equipment type, and quantity were applied to the Activity Card, and the amount of work by quantity counting, resource planning, and resource requirements was reflected. In the future, we plan to improve the accuracy of the program by applying forecasting techniques including various field data.
