SIMAN을 이용한 JIT생산시스템의 Simulation 구현 (A Study on the Simulation of JIT Production System Using SIMAN)

  • JIT의 시스템적 특징 때문에 JIT 생산 시스템의 효율성은 단순한 수식으로서 정량화 되지 못하며, 실질적인 유용성을 인정하면서도 JIT시스템 도입에 따른 효과를 파악하는 방법이 구체적으로 정식화되어 있지 않다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 JIT 생산시스템의 개요와 JIT 생산시스템의 유용성을 입증하기 위하여 SIMAN을 이용하여 Simulation을 실시하였다. 아울러 이론적 연구에서 제시된 바와 같이 JIT 생산시스템은 생산공장 내에서 재공품을 적게 발생하여 적정한 생산효율을 유지함으로서, 판매과정에서의 재고 역시 적게 유지될 수 있다는 것을 Simulation과정을 통하여 증명하였다.

The Moderate Effect of SPC on the Relations Between Practicing JIT and Production Performance

  • Our goal of this study is to confirm whether manufacturing companies' practicing JIT production system have positive effect on production performances and to confirm that manufacturing companies' practicing SPC shows positive moderate effect on the relation between practicing JIT and their production performances. Based on empirical study to manufacturing companies nationwide, we can conclude that taking JIT practices of sample companies has positive effect on production performances and, moreover, practicing SPC has positive moderate effect on the relation between JIT practices and production performances. These conclusion represents managerial implication that concurrent practicing JIT and SPC could generate more improved production performances.

  • The basic purpose of the JIT(Just In Time) production system is to increase profits by reducing costs-that is, by completely eliminating waste such as excessive stocks or workforce. To achieve cost reduction, Production must promptly and flexibly adapt to changes in market demand without having wasteful slacks. :iuch an ideal is accomplished by the concept of JIT, producing the necessary items in the necessary quantities at the necessary time. The JIT production system is supported by the following: reduction of setup time, smoothing of production, standardization of jobs, improvement activities, design of machine layout, Kanban system, autonomation etc. This study examined the present state of the domestic JIT production system and introduced the empirical case of JIT application a small and medium manufacturing company. A synthetic resins manufacturing company applied JIT principles to its processes and achieved the great performance.

  • 자바프로그램의 실행속도를 빠르게 하는데 있어서 가장 좋은 방법은 빠른 자바가상머신(JVM : Java Virtual Machine)을 사용하는 것이다. 자바가상머신의 성능은 구현 차이에 따라 성능차이가 많이 난다. 자바가상머신을 구현하는데 있어서 가장 중요한 성능 향상의 기술은 JIT(Just-in-Time) 코드 생성기(Code Generator)이다. JIT 코드 생성기는 자바 바이트 코드를 플랫폼에 맞는 native machine code로 변환해 준다. 이 native code들은 자바가상머신에서 각 바이트 코드를 분석하는데 걸리는 시간을 단축할 수 있기 때문에 기존의 방식보다 빠르게 동작한다. 그러나 JIT 코드 생성기는 많은 레지스터를 사용하기 때문에 스택과 레지스터간의 traffic이 가중되는 문제가 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 자바가상머신의 성능 향상을 위한 방안으로 효율적인 stack allocation 정책을 JIT 코드 생성기에 적용하여 레지스터와의 traffic을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to certify the actual state of JIT(Just-in-Time) production system's implementation of Korean manufacturing industries and to exhibit the appropriate JIT system considering the company's characteristics, for attain the superior competitiveness. To understand the current situations of JIT system's implementation a questionnaire study is performed. Total 152 valid questionnaires are collected by personal visit and mailing method. All the data is statistically analyzed by SPSS PC+ and SAS program and reviewed to develop a strategy for JIT implementation of Korean manufacturing companies.

  • CIM and JIT have been known as a suitable production system under various product with small quantity production environment which demands short delivery, high quality, and flexibility. CIM is the integrated system for both automated facilities and computer information processing technology and JIT is the system for an exhaustive waste elimination. This paper proposes the JIT-CIM system which combines the concepts and characteristics of JIT and CIM. The JIT-CIM system has been implemented under the strategy of management such as market-in, integration, recycling and resonable profit and which integrates the automation facilities and information processing technology on the basis of waste elimination concept and small lot pronciple of JIT.

국내 제조기업의 JIT구매방식의 도입과 구매성과에 관한 연구 (JIT Purchasing of Korean Manufacturers and It's Impact on Purchasing Performances)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose guidelines for Introducing the JIT(Just-In-Time) purchasing to enhance the competitiveness of Korean manufacturing companies. This study employed an extensive survey on the use of the JIT purchasing systems among different Korean manufacturing companies to understand the current status of the JIT purchasing in use and to identify the benefits from implementing JIT purchasing. The survey has covered 163 manufacturing companies of different sizes from various sectors of Korean industries including electronics, automobiles, machineries, and textiles. The research results support that the JIT purchasing would contribute to increase the purchasing performances of Korean manufacturing companies.

The survey has covered 170 manufacturing companies of different sizes from various sectors of Korean industries including electronics, automobiles, machineries, and textiles. In conclusion, our research results support that the JIT production system would contribute to increase the manufacturing performances of Korean manufacturing companies through lower inventory level and increased quality level.

  • In Production system, there are two ; One is the JIT system, which was developed by the Toyota corporation : the other is the MRP system, which was developed in the United States. The JIT system has been proved its effectiveness for production management system by many industries, however the effectiveness of its application in non-repetitive productions is yet uncertain unlike the MRP system. There has been many efforts in comparing and analyzing the usefulness and the limitation of those production systems. Accordingly, this study has focused its simulation model using MRP and JIT.

  • We have been recognize the adaptation of JIT(Just-in-Time) production system is necessary to improve the constitution of enterprises. But this system is not settled in our industrial environment owing to misunderstanding of JIT concepts and lack of participation all members of the oranization. This paper deals with systematic application of the JIT subsystems such as U-form layout, flexible workforces with multi- functional skilled workers and adjustment of standard operations procedures. And a successful productivity improvement case study of a small and medium sized industry was dealt.
